According to a report published today on Boy Genius Report, Apple's major US carrier partner AT&T is getting its staff prepped for the release of the next iPhone handset, expected sometime in mid-September. The report cites a 'proven source' that claims that AT&T's retail arm has been communicating with its legions of employees, telling them to "finish training in order to have employees available for the influx of foot traffic expected in September."

While this report is simply another rumor, there's little doubt in anyone's mind at this point that September will bring some sort of new or updated iPhone handset; it's even possible that Apple will completely revamp its lineup and launch more than one new iPhone. The BGR report claims that Apple will announce the next iPhone sometime in late August, and then handset will then go on sale in early September. Flying is easy for Natsumi Hayashi. The levitating self portraits of this Tokyo photographer are not actually easily accomplished but the product of hard work. "Sometimes I need to jump more than 300 times to get the perfect shot," Hayashi told MSNBC.com. Hayashi blogs a levitating picture-of-the-day each day on her website, yowayowacamera.com.

“I got an idea from an English idiom that says ‘to have one’s feet firmly planted on the ground’ applies to a practical type of person,” Hayashi said in an interview. “In Japan, we have the exact same idiom. But I am not a practical person at all. Therefore, I try not to have my feet on the ground in my self-portrait photos to show my true self.”

In this photo, Natsumi Hayashi seems to float across a restaurant in the suburbs of Tokyo. According to her the biggest challenge with this photo was keeping the bread rolls flat on the plate in her hands.

Two years ago, she started exploring this technique about and she began sharing her photos on her website, yowayowa camera woman diary at the beginning of this year. "Yowayowa camera woman diary" means "a feeble, or weak, camera woman’s diary." According to her on her site, "Since I’m yowayowa, it’s really heavy to carry SLR cameras around." - Equipments and shutter speed
Camera body: Canon EOS 5D Mk2
Lenses: Canon EF50mm F1.2L USM, EF24-70mm F2.8L USM, PENTAX 67 lenses (with adaptors)
Tripods: Gitzo's rapid-pole 3 steps with ball heads (from 1980s)
Shutter speed: 1/500 sec. or faster (1/320 sec. can be used in a darker condition)

- With a self-timer
EOS 5D Mk2 has a 10sec. timer as it's longest timer set up. This means that I can get away as far as 10 second distance from the camera after I press the shutter release button.
First, I get a composition and a focus manually.
Then I press the shutter release, run to the right position for a levitation as checking the camera's blinking red LED counts down 10 seconds and jump by my intuition.
In this manner, I need to jump over and over to get the right shot.

- Ask someone to press the shutter release button
When I take my levitation farther away from the camera than 10 second distance, I ask someone (mostly my friend) to press the shutter release button. First, I ask my friend to be a stand-in in a proper position to get a composition and a focus.
Then I go to the position to levitate, and my friend come to the camera (we switch our position) to press a shutter release button in time with my jumps.
