BC Election

Today is election day in BC. The election campaign is a bit over a month long. During the first half of the campaign looking at the lawn signs voters couldn't helped but thought only one party was contesting the election, the NDP. BC Liberal party lawn signed started to appear right after the television debate and the BC Liberals narrowed the gap between them and the leading NDP to single digit.

Walking across a parking lot one early morning. It was almost empty except for one car. On its windshield was a note (ticket?). Upon a closer look it seemed somebody could've abandoned it as it had no rear license plate with damages to the side.

Years ago, before they cleared out False Creek's north side to stage Expo 86 and the Cambie Street Bridge was far from a concrete bridge. The area was full of lumber yards and mills. We used to use drive through there to avoid the traffic on the Georgia Viaduct and Dunsmier.

Passing by the checkouts at a Superstore and inline was a balding middle age man doing a great, fantastic actually, job showing why DC Comic never let Superman ages.

Lougheed Mall has a number of vacant units. Some been emptied for months. It converted one of them into a wireless lounge with free wifi for shoppers.

The Bay has switched its floor display from individual mannequin to grouping them together for a changed look.The new look does draw more attention, at least I noticed it.
