However I don't think Martin's tweets were a statement against gays. That being said this part of the article I found interesting: "GLAAD's initial calling for Martin to be fired from CNN but not TV One, a cable news channel targeted to African-Americans, in which he hosts a show, has also drawn critics.

As for Rick Santorum, I think the closes he could get to being president is the VP slot _ if that on Mitt Romney's ticket. He will not be president and neither will Romney or Newt Gingrich.

As I have said before, I think a Gingrich candidate for the Republicans would be ideal for the country because his debates with President Obama would be a game changer. It would force Obama to move to the middle, like Clinton did in the late 90s.

This is why Bill's show is number 1. Remember now he is a commentator and not a journalist. I have said all alone that Bill is fair. Granted he goes off on the deep end ever so often, but it takes this to show liberals that he is fair and sometimes balanced.

I would like to read these columns. I don't follow Martin and never cared for his commentary. Not sure of Martin's stance on homosexuals but it seems now CNN is attempting to force him to accept or just keep quiet.

I support human rights and if it entails gay rights so be it, but there seems to be something sinister taking place in society.

1,144 delegates are needed to capture the GOP nomination. I find it really unfortunate that some think candidates should drop out of the race before other states can vote and choose their candidate.

Our election system is truly broken. Those states with the most delegates cast their votes first leaving the smaller states empty handed. No matter what the smaller states do their votes seem to not matter when it comes to electing a candidate. The process should be fixed.
