Wedding in Venice

2016-07-12T09:28:00.000-07:00

Ana Ivanovic and Bastian Schweinsteiger

The tennis calendar has only two "windows" when those players who are impatient to get married, can realize their desire. The first, and largest - is at the end of the season, when the newlyweds have at their disposal almost two months off-season. But not all European women want to celebrate their own wedding in late autumn or winter, when they are forced to hide a gorgeous wedding dress.

As an alternative (and it even more often used by tennis players) is a wedding in July, immediately after the end of Wimbledon. It is no accident in the last four days we have witnessed the weddings of two tennis stars - Slovak tennis player Dominika Cibulkova got married on Saturday, and on Tuesday, July 12, there was a wedding of Serbian tennis player Ana Ivanovic.

Ana Ivanovic has always been considered as one of the most eligible brides of WTA-tour - a dazzling beautiful brunette and a very good tennis player. Moreover she earned a very good fortune thanks her tennis skills and generous sponsorship contracts.

Such beatiful girls has always attracted attention of the opposite sex. But Ana has preferred to athletes. Among her boyfriends were a tennis player, golfer, basketball player and even water polo player. So what? Eventually, fate has brought her to the footballer Bastian Schweinsteiger.

They stated dating in September 2014, during the US Open. Young couple were walking on the streets of New York, holding hands, not paying attention at anyone. They were so passionate about each other, they didn't notice even the photographers who were at their heels.

Well, who could have imagined that Ana suddenly change her taste (in her love list were exceptionally high handsome brunettes) and pay attention to the blond German, not too high for her standards. But love can not be estimated and measured. For the sake of her loved man Serbian tennis player moved to England, where Schweinsteiger playing in Manchester United football. In his turn, Bastian all his free time devoted a tennis player. He specially flew to Australia on the Australian Open, in Paris at Roland Garros and Wimbledon in London.

Talking on their upcoming wedding started at the end of last year. Serbian press offered different dates and named different cities. Said that originally Bastian and Ana had planned a celebration at 6 June in Belgrade. But because of the special attention of the press were forced to postpone the wedding date. And finally, just a few weeks before the celebration, in the press leaked the information that the so long awaited event is scheduled for July 12 at Venice. Strikingly, but this time the rumor turned out to be absolutely true!

The wedding ceremony was held at the Venice City Hall, which is also known as the Palazzo Cavalli. This palace since 1990 used exclusively for wedding ceremonies. According to the Italian press, the couple spent on the wedding about one million euros, and the invited guests (about 120 people) were asked to take a three-day holiday.

Congratulations to the newlyweds and let their family life will be beautiful and romantic!

Caroline Wozniacki strip off in bodypaint photoshot

2016-02-15T23:51:00.001-08:00

Caroline Wozniacki is a vivid example why you should never say "never." About six years ago, during her total domination in the women's tennis ranking, she said something like that: "there's no money in the world that would get me to have a naked session. Let them have Kournikova posing for them".
But with time the opinion of the former world number one has changed radically and now the Dane is pleased to participate in the "nude" photoshoot, and it seems even a little proud of it.
She stripped for "Sports Illustrated" magazine where Caroline starred in the "naked swimsuit". Her only clothing was the ... paint.
The body painting, painted by Joanne Gair, took around fifteen hours to complete. “I had a blast this was so

much fun,” the Dane said on the photoshoot. “I love my body paint. This has been such an unbelievable

experience.”

2016-01-08T01:52:00.003-08:00

The hot Australian summer has always been supportive of couples in love who flock in January to the green continent, unable to leave each other even for a month. Still fresh in the memories the love stories of golfers Rory McIlroy and Adam Scott supported their girlfriends Caroline Wozniacki and Ana Ivanovic during Australian tennis tournaments, and singer RedFoo, who specially came to Australia to support Victoria Azarenka. Finally, one of the last celebrities seen in Australia's VIP-boxes last year was a football player Bastian Schweinsteiger, who is now boyfriend of Ana Ivanovic.

But not only young and successful athletes come to Australia to support their bright tennis girlfriends. The main non-tennis event this year in Brisbane became the appearance in the box of Grigor Dimitrov his new girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger. Rumors of a new love affair of the tennis star appeared in November 2015 in several papers, but no details followed. And two months later it became clear that it's not just tabloids tales.

Pop star Nicole Scherzinger was spotted watching her 24-year-old Bulgarian boyfriend during his singles and double matches in Brisbane this week. And the former Pussycat Doll planted a kiss on Dimitrov as the pair strolled through the grounds of the Brisbane International yesterday.

Nicole Scherzinger is 13 years older than Grigor Dimitrov (he is 24 years old, and she - 37 years old) and she is cleverly trying to hide the age difference by selection of suitable clothing. Dressed in boyfriend jeans, white trainers and wearing sunglasses she looks like the same age as her boyfriend. But when she takes off sunglasses, it becomes clear that the "girl" is already well over thirty.

German football player Bastian Schweinsteiger almost all summer spent on the tennis stadiums in Europe, supporting his girlfriend Ana Ivanovic, but soon the star couple will be separated for some time. Schweinsteiger soon begins a new season with "Manchester United" where he moved in the summer, while Ana will play in tennis tournaments in North America.

In recent weeks, Ana trained under the guidance of her former coach Nigel Sears in Mallorca, and Bastian with the team has been in the US for pre-season training. And now Schweinsteiger returned to Britain, and Ivanovic getting ready to go to Toronto, Canada. And probably before a long separation, Ana Ivanovic came to visit Bastian in Manchester.

The pair enjoyed a date at the popular Italian restaurant "San Carlo" on Monday night ahead of the start of the Premier League season this weekend. They were spotted leaving the venue through the kitchen door after their meal - but couldn't avoid the waiting photographers.

By the way Ana and Bastian spent the evening with another couple - a midfielder of "Manchester United Morgan Schneiderlin came to the restaurant with his partner Camille Sold.

Italian vacation

2015-07-29T12:08:00.000-07:00

We saw a lot of tennis couples on vacation to get an idea of how relax representatives of different nationalities. British Kim Sears and Andy Murray just enjoyed the warm rays of the sun, Dimitrov and Sharapova even on vacation did not allow themselves too much (probably for fear of the paparazzi).

But when appeared the photos of Fabio Fognini and Flavia Pennetta from hot Ibiza as it was immediately clear that in their veins flows the hot southern blood. They didn't afraid of paparazzi, completely ignoring all others people and totally enjoying the warm weather and each other's company.

Maria Sharapova and Grigor Dimitrov broke up

2015-07-23T12:59:00.001-07:00

During three-year history of their relationship rumors bred and drove them back. The lastest date to last fall, when almost all tennis press insists that Maria Sharapova and Grigor Dimitrov broke up shortly before the US Open. But as often happens, rumors were not confirmed.

Maria Sharapova and Grigor Dimitrov
photo Getty Images

But this time, everything is very similar to the truth. ESPN reporter Darren Rovell wrote today on his Twitter: "Rumors of Maria Sharapova and Grigor Dimitrov splitting up have been confirmed".

Well, you know that a person occupying such a post in one of the most respected sports channels, simply has no right to make mistakes. Surely, Rovell has his own informed sources close to the two stars of world tennis, who confirmed the news with absolute accuracy.

Of course, we had some suspicions when Maria Sharapova came on vacation in Montenegro alone, but this time Grigor Dimitrov was seen in Florida, on the court in the company of Ivan Lendl.

Most likely Sharapova and Dimitrov parted ways not today and not even yesterday. And definitely, it happened even before Wimbledon. Both were simply not interested their split became public during Wimbledon.

However, in this story there is a very juicy thing. Bulgarian site dunavmost.bg with reference to some knowledgeable people in the Bulgarian Tennis Federation, wrote that allegedly during Wimbledon Grisha traded Masha for the Bulgarian model Nicoletta Lozanova. And they spent very nice time together in London.

Waiting for comments?

Maria Sharapova is enjoying a vacation in Montenegro

2015-07-20T03:50:00.002-07:00

Maria Sharapova have the opportunity to choose for the summer holidays any part of of the world, but this time the prima women's tennis has gone to rest in Montenegro. For a summer vacation has been selected the island of St. Stephen, which is 500 meters from the mainland Montenegro.

The place is famous for its medieval flavor, while at the same time, stuffing and finishing of hotels can satisfy the most demanding taste. This place often becomes holiday destination of famous models, show business stars and members of the European royal families. Last summer, on the island of St. Stephen celebrated his wedding Novak Djokovic (maybe Novak and suggested a place for vacation to Maria?)

Apparently, Maria came to the island in the company of her friends, and Grigor Dimitrov is likely at this time busy with more important things.

Spanish tennis player Feliciano Lopez and model Alba Carrillo got married in Toledo

2015-07-18T10:03:00.002-07:00

Tennis players often set the date of their wedding immediately after Wimbledon, but this year broke all records. Following two Czech tennis player Tomas Berdych and Lukáš Rosol, married a Spaniard Feliciano Lopez.

The wife of one of the most attractive players in ATP-tour has become a model and TV presenter Alba Carrillo.

33-year-old Lopez had a lot of love affaires with the most beautiful and famous girls in Spain (which in fact is not surprising, given his appearance). Love story with a future wife began in January 2013. Exactly then Lopez fell in love with a young mother Alba Carillo, who had a year-old son from a previous relationship.

Lopez's future wedding was not a secret. A year ago, the press reported that the Spaniard made a marriage proposal to his sweetheart.

For the venue of the ceremony was chosen Alcázar de Toledo - the castle at the top of the city of Toledo, which was once the residence of the kings of Castilla. One of the main reasons for choosing such an exotic place was the desire to protect the newlyweds from the presence of onlookers and paparazzi. However, some photos still leaked to the press.

Obviously, the bride was not able to stop at some single dress, and selected for the wedding ceremony three dress! The first - a classic, with a veil, was used for the church wedding ceremony, the second - a modern style, Alba was wearing when she and Feliciano posed for photographers. Alas, the third dress appeared behind the scenes, but I hope it was no less elegant than the previous two.

Among the invited guests were the Spanish tennis players Fernando Verdasco, David Ferrer and Marcel Granollers.

''Even Serena's team have been talking about it in the clubhouse to a few people they trust. She has been incredibly focused on her title bid. But if she's had a quiet moment she's spent it with Drake, even going to watch his Wireless set and having dinners in London.''

2015-02-11T09:23:00.000-08:00

Milos Raonic, who once was suspected of romantic feelings for British tennis player Laura Robson, actually dating his compatriot Danielle Knudson. 24-year-old Canadian was not very original, and like many of his fellow tennis players, had his eye on a girl who is engaged in the modeling business.

Danielle Knudson has a chic figure, and therefore it's not surprising that she is mainly underwear and swimwear model. But apart from that she has a contract with the "Guess" company. Danielle is 28 years old, her height - 175 cm.

It is not known when and where they met, but Milos and Danielle are dating at least three months already. Their first pictures together appeared in November in Knudson's Instagram.

MR. CLEAN?
I prefer male body wash to female body wash. I feel like it cleans better. Female [body wash] has way too much scent and it smells like flowers and like I am a bit of a tomboy so I don’t want to smell like that. Even if I smell a little manly, it’s okay.

CANADA’S GOT TALENT
I can juggle. I had to do that once in a shoot and I’m good at juggling, but suddenly there are these lights and then the camera flashing every two seconds and it was actually much harder!

DOWN-UNDER DEVOTEES
The Genie Army are local Melbourne kids. They started this thing in Australia. I have to give them so much credit because I went to the semis in Australia and they were there from the first rounds. They made the atmosphere better. They got more fans involved and people started paying more attention and it became this huge thing. They started this worldwide trend where every tournament I go to, people are in the Genie Army.

BACK TO SCHOOL?
I loved school when I was a kid. My favourite class was math. I finished high school and then since then I’ve just been focused on tennis but [post-secondary education] is definitely something I would do after.

OH, MEXICO
Last year, I went to Mexico for vacation. I truly love Mexico and I love just being on a beach and relaxing all day so my dream vacation would is just on a beach either Mexico or Hawaii or something.

BONUS: Bieber Fever
I think he has a really inspiring story and I think it’s really cool how he came from a really small town and became the world’s biggest superstar. He’s been in some trouble, but everyone deserves a second chance; I’m sure he’ll mature.

Romantic stroll around Beverly Hills

2014-12-08T00:32:00.002-08:00

Paparazzi have caught Maria Sharapova and her boyfriend Grigor Dimitrov on a romantic stroll around Beverly Hills on Sunday. The love birds walked around the luxury shopping street of Rodeo Drive firmly clasp their hands.

As you know, last year Dimitrov moved to California to be closer to his girlfriend, and now they have the opportunity to spend more time together.

Rodeo Drive has plenty of shops and boutiques of the most famous brands, and probably a couple has decided to explore the latest fashion trends. It has been noticed that Maria and Grigor try to wear clothes of matching colors, and this time was no exception - their choice fell on navy blue. Both were in dark sunglasses, but this "camouflage" could hardly deceive anyone.

Caroline Wozniacki dating Ryan Kerrigan?

2014-12-02T00:30:00.000-08:00

On Monday night, Caroline Wozniacki attended a Washington, D.C. charity event with Redskins linebacker Ryan Kerrigan and rumors suggest the two are romantically paired up.

With her ex-boyfriend Rory McIlroy Caroline broke up in the spring of this year, and still there was no reason to suspect that in her life appeared a new man. As often happens after the disappointment in personal life, all her energy Wozniacki forwarded to achieve success in her career, and I must say she quite succeeded.
At a charity auction, which took place in one of Washington's restaurants located in the Georgetown, Caroline Wozniacki came in the company of Ryan Kerrigan, and a couple did not take eyes off each other all evening. Journalists at the event spoke with Kerrigan, but he said nothing about his personal life and didn't want to answer questions about his companion. Caroline refused to be interviewed at all.

A little bit about Ryan Kerrigan. He is a player of American football, and since 2011 plays for Washington "Redskins", where his annual salary of about $ 7 million a year. Football player is 26 years old and his height 193 cm.

In any case, with this guy Caroline can wear very high heels.
