Blomqvist and Oslo National Academy of the Arts has in a collaboration through out 2011/2012 year presented  designtalents. They wanted to bring out the new young designers.Now you can add your vote on which talent you like, and the designer will win a price of 30.000 NOK.

One of my favorites is this loungechair by Åsmund Wivestad Engesland named BAU. So go to Blomqvist and add your vote before the 4th of June!

Stay Hotel Copenhagen is a hotel concept located on the Island Brygge, a few minutes drive from the centre of Copenhagen. Stay has 193 apartments, with a range from 90m2 to an Atelier XL at almost 150m2.There are 15 different apartmentdesign and their common design-idea is Scandinavian Minimalism with furniture from Danish brands, suchs as HAY.

Love this packing idea of tea bags made by the Canadian design student Sophie Pepín.  Pepín drew inspiration from the native american nomadic lifestyle and named her tea packing project “North American Teapee”.

Finally the travel route for our US roadtrip in June and July has been completed.
First stop San Francisco, then Yosemite N.P, then off to Las Vegas celebrating my friends 25th Birthday, going to be a blast. Then we’ll be heading for now-where land in Utah, then down to Page,Grand Canyon, before we head to San Diego, Los Angeles and HIghway 101 back to San Francisco!
Rodeo tickets, baseball game booked…yes ! about  one month left ! Can’t wait !

The new coffee shop has not opened yet, opens around May, but Made in Norway, has posted these lovely photos from a the new projects with its center in Ålesund, Norway. The people behind the new brandstore are Kim Haagensen, Sindre Røstad and John Wuya. They have big ambition and hope to expand to New York in 2012 and then Tokyo. 
They have teamed up with the Norwegian architect firm Snøhetta and the Norwegian industrial designer Andreas Engesvik. These two are going to design the furnishing, which is based on openness, honesty and the closeness to the nature – which is the characteristic for the Nordic and the Scandinavian. 
Trough their brandstore they want to show of scandinavian design, architecture, interior and coffeeculture.
Can´t wait to see more !
