2011 hem update

2011-04-01T00:07:00.000-07:00

as usual I have been lagging on volume, I have played like 100 hrs a month this year, its not what I had in mind but with the way I been running I m actually happy with how much I played, everything went wrong, I took a shot at 1ks and ran into AA or KK like every other game and ended up losing like 40k in like a week and then a 20k downswing on 200s followed.

I stopped with the 500s + and have been trying my best to recover from this for almost 2 months I think, if i add up rakeback using the blackcard 4x multiplier, rakerace and leaderboard bonuses its actually not that bad now, but the reality is that I m on a 55k downswing on a 15k sample stretch lol :(

here is this years graph

2011-01-25T18:00:00.000-08:00

no longer waking up after 2 pm but still not playing as much as i could, this has been a weird month for me, I feel like it has been a good month, while I lost 20k on a really small sample of 500s +, I actually managed to get back to even by doing good on the smaller games, I m now playing the 6 max games and its waaaay easier to earn rakeback in those games, the higher games run more often and they also end faster! I got 1500 games played there this month and +4k or something like that, with RB probably somewhere near 6k

only like 87 hours played this month so i m lagging hard, but I had to take a bunch of days off due to family visits

2011 so far

2011-01-13T18:53:00.000-08:00

I recently started to play all the higher stakes games, the part that sucks is that they barely run but i figure if I do this for the rest of the year I ll have a decent sample on 300s + and possibly make a lot more depending on how I run, I m also going to start playing 6 max when my games are slow, I m no where as confident in my 6 max game as I am on 9 max but I can still make a decent hourly with rakeback so it's all good

started off the year with my biggest losing day and downswing but I m 1 good day from recovering, I'v only played 6 days this month and I ll probably have more set backs in January but hopefully 1 or 2 days tops

2011

2011-01-02T05:58:00.000-08:00

the goal is to play 2011 hours

that should give me around 90k games in the year

around 7500 a month and 167 hours played each month

I don't usually stick with the goals I make but I m going to try my best on this one, I feel that I have spent enough time being lazy and procrastinating and I ll never get where I want if I dont make any changes

more volume fail

2010-12-19T02:12:00.000-08:00

I thought if i posted my volume goals in this blog it would motivate me to wake up earlier, play more hours and average 5k games a month but the games keep dying in the middle of my session and I always end up telling my self that I ll grind extra tomorrow and never actually do (horrible habit) .. I m only at 2k games this month with 10 days or maybe less to play. the way things are going I ll be surprised if i reach 4k games hehe

as for this month

2k played
14.2k profit
1.3k rakeback

after breaking even for a couple thousand games on redline its now going back up :)

overall graph in buy ins

Black Ops

2010-11-28T23:25:00.000-08:00

another failed attempt on reaching a goal but it at least motivated me

to get the volume I did for the first couple weeks.. I set my self back too much with thanks giving week and I also been playing call of duty with my friend way too much lately, so while i didn't reach the goal at least I m a level 31 on CoD: Black ops now :), I actually took 10 or more days off this month

as for next month I ll be trying to reach 5k games again, it shouldn't be too hard I just have to fix my sleep schedule

3233/5000 games
77 hours played
$2.4k rakeback

I haven't really studied in a while and just so happens I m on a 2k break even stretch on my redline so i guess its time to put in a few hours of studying

update

2010-11-11T23:31:00.000-08:00

I m a bit behind on my goal so far, I took a couple days off after dropping almost 50 buy ins in a day and I also decided to learn 6 max so it's easier to game select when there are too many regs on 9 max

the month so far

1468/5000 games
33 hours played
$1050 rakeback

due to some real life issues I was not able to even play a full session the last few days, so the goal was a fail but next month I ll be aiming for 5k+ sngs
