Modest proposal in case Trump wins the nomination:

At the GOP convention, during his acceptance speech, Trump teases with big announcement about the debates.

First Debate: Trump offers Hillary atleast $1 billion to withdraw from the race. Her answer is due at the second debate. Announces that the amount will be crowd funded before the next debate and he will match the crowdfunding upto $1B. He also tells her he has a little something to sweeten the pot on top of that.

Second debate: Trump publicly negotiates with Hillary on the amount she wants to withdraw. After they settle on a price. Trump offers to sell her a pardon for $250M. Negotiations will proceed at the next debate.

Third Debate: Trump and Hillary negotiate the terms and amount of the pardon. Trump then rocks the crowd by having Bill Clinton join her on stage. Crowd goes wild. Trump then has Monica Lewinsky join him on the stage (pandemonium erupts) and Trump negotiates a pardon for Bill on the spot.

First let me say that Romney owned yesterday evening so completely that he calmly pushed Obama right off the stage, then Romney fired Jim Lehrer, then Romney tore up the planks on the stage, tore the decorations off the wall, collected the podiums, unscrewed the light bulbs and took the copper wiring out of the building, put the supplies into his campaign bus and drove off.

As a final polish, Mitt sent Michelle flowers for her anniversary. Which was also last night.

Obama's debate performance last night was astonishingly revealing. He was tongue-tied, evasive, incoherent. He had no defense of his policies. As many bloggers are saying, his performance was enabled and almost guaranteed by the fact that he has never been pushed or challenged by the American media.

The spectacle is completely what you would expect when you put someone with no experience (outside of community organizing) up against a seasoned senior executive who knows his business cold.

A speculation on my part....

One of the dangers regarding last night is that Obama was revealed to be a weakling in front of the entire world. Somewhere in the world, there is a cold, calculating Chavez, Putin, Ahmadinejad who has had their last doubt about Obama's ability completely clarified. If Obama is re-elected, you can garantee the fact that that foreign leader will take Obama apart as completely as Romney did. But when that happens, American lives will be lost.
