When we go on a trip we always work the experience up in our minds eye first before the plane even leaves the ground. lets face it our thoughts are the reason we book trips to begin with. What is special about this process is when the place you visit exceeds your expectations it become a memory that will last a lifetime....

Heliboarding with Eagle Pass Heliskiing this past Jan 2017 was just that a very special and unique exsprience that now belongs to everyone in our group. We stayed at the old Eagle Pass Lodge due to it not being completed in time for our arrival period, however the lodge we did stay at was really beautiful on a nice property. However if you book you will be staying at the brand new Lodge just built for you.

The Staff was incredible and very accommodating. When we first arrived at the lodge we we created by friendly faces who showed us to our accommodations where we had a gift waiting on our pillows. a nice case for Ski or Snowboard googles and a portable battery charger with the Eagle Pass Logo on it!

When we walked out into the living area the gormet chefs were hard at work preparing a special and unique dinner as they cook three meals a day for guest. We also had the best breakfast the next morning after taking a stretching class at 6:30 AM we ate good and prepared for our day of EPIC riding with one the best Heliboarding operation in BC

On the first day we leave the lodge in a van to be taken to the Eagle Pass tenure area. We waited with our guide Chevy for our turn and than we were up next. We prepared for the incoming Helicopter piloted by Kevin Duff who dropped from the sky like an Eagle to swoop us up fore the ride the another place that would again be better then what I imaged it to be while at home before trip.

The first day a person in our party lost their glasses on one of or runs. When we got back to the Lodge I never in my life seen so many people trying to help us located an eye glass doctor in the nearest towns. Some towns were not so near however we did located one right in Revelstoke who was open late on a Sat afternoon. He got contacts and we were on our way to relaxing in the Jacuzzi and Sauna then eating and getting ready for a good night and great Sunday Morning Floating on snow.

Sunday morning arrived and it was our turn to fly from the lodge's front door to our first run of the day. This day was fully of surprises. the wind blow snow all over the place making it a great powder day, we found a spot that was incredible wide with deep powder on the top and trees on the bottom that were just perfect in spacing and provided the perfect spot to ride..

We got a few reviews on camera with two clients of Eagle Pass Heliskiing the First one is from Andreas from Germany who for the last six years has been spending lots of time heliskiing with Eagle Pass and meets with his group that he meet while at Eagle Pass years ago...

Then we spoke with Mike about his group and why they Heliski BC with Eagle Pass and what keeps them coming back.

Hiring a Helicoptor that is made for a small group like we had that only holds four riders a guide and Pilot is something very special don't pass it up. You don't have to go in a group of four to do this you can come from 1-3 person to be match up with a single or fill all four seats with your group.

We headed out to the Winter Jam 2009 in Manhattans east river park Same place that the Red bull Snowscrapers was held on Thursday Feb 5th. We spent time shooting video so those who were not there. The day was fun the snow was slow and prevented the riders from performing to there full potential.

Greatest snow on earth

A bunch of my family friends and I went to the canyons in Utah. We have been a lot of different places and the snow out in Utah was just out of this world. I will never forget that time when we were snowboarding in waist deep powder. We where there the day before as well.The waist deep powder all fell in that canyon overnight. and this snow was so dry it blew away out of your hands like baby powder. Another thing I noticed is the lack of the wind but I am definitely not complaining and on that week long trip no one else did either and here are a couple snow angels we left behind in Utah.

Shawn White smart business man or sellout?

I think that it may be that he is smart lets face it he cant ride forever. the only problem I see is Target it would have been nice to keep in the Board shops. The big picture is that good may come in the form of gaining more kids into the sports that Shawn loves. It Brings the sports or the hope of those sport where it has never been before on the worldstage of Target this means big sales and incresed ridership good news all around. here are other artical on this topic from about.com snowboarding

This up coming year is going to be Epic we will be doing more Traveling,more Events,videos we are so excited to be working with Chill.org a group of Pro Snowboarders from Colorado and an Artist who is doing amazing things, to show the world in art what Chill.org and his art is all about. The riders include Mike Farnum and some of his boys like maybe Teddy Karlinkski and Chad Oliver. The Artist is a good Friend of mine who is a great artist with a kind heart.

So back to the Back country RV trip Ya. About one month ago Mike Farnum pro rider who I had the pleasure of meeting at the Burton Us Open at Stratton Mountain where our Snowboarding School blog held Press credentials. he called me and asked if We would like to travel in an RV for a week riding and shooting film in the back country. It perfect timing i will be attending NY Film Academy. Spring massive is under way At breckenridge and it has dump huge amounts of snow with 1-2 ft on the way for Wendsday into Thursday the riding has been great. Our first day it was snowing hard. We headed to peak ten to ride in the Burns the snow was blowing lightly when we entered just as we got going the winds picked up to the point where we could not see anything and had to buncker down for ten mintues. After a while we stared to head back to tghe trail so we would be safe it was not worth the risk we were disapointed but we knew that today would be a great day for the Burns and it was. we also hit the imperial bowl and got to ride epic conditions. More snow on the way it will only get better Spring massive is off to a good start.

What once had to be hiked to to enjoy great riding at the top of Breckenridge is now accessed by the new Breckenridge Imperial Express Chair lift. We just returned from Stratton Mountain hours ago, and it was great. We went out to see the US Open site with William Wrisely Marketing Communications Coordinator. We spoke with the men in the machines building the course. They were hired by Burton just for this event. I have video of this i have to get it edited and posted by end of this week. But for now Stratton has given us permission to add some videos from there archives enjoy.

Top River Run Bed And Breakfast

We spent the day at Belleayre Mountain it was so fun just riding and getting peoples Snowboarding Stories on video. We Stayed at The river run bed and breakfast where we meet one of the owners who treated us like family and gave us great stories about the 20 bed room home he runs. He had a a bad accident on a snowboard involving his wrist i wish him the best wishes in getting back on that board. He is what i call great people. He let us in on a great Restaurant called the Peekamoose Restaurant and tap room. The food was great service was on point and the price was right for such a wonderful meal that hit the spot i will be back again when in town i highly recommend this place to any one without worries. This place is Zagat Rated and rightfully so.

This past sunday i went to Stratton Mountain in Vermont the snow was sketchie on the first day but with snow on the way that night that was soon to change and it did. We then had a great day of riding on the fresh snow what a difference a day makes.
