Easter Dress (& Ties)

For Easter this year I wanted matching outfits all around. Which means you have to go custom with both boys and girls. I selected Jenean Morrison’s California Dreamin’ as I am totally in love with that line. In order to keep my husband from rebelling I had to do the boys’ ties in the orange fabric. Dress ended up being a mixture of a peasant shirt tutorial found online and a vision in my mind. Added the orange flower headband and I think everything turned out very adorable for this holiday!

Wooden Table?

I realize this is not made from fabric of any kind. However, my husband and I built this together so I figured I would brag it up here. I actually used a chop saw…it was scary and I thought I would end the project down a few fingers, but all turned out well. Also found out wood working seems much more precise than sewing. But it ended up beautiful despite my amateur help!

Orange and pink is a popular trend that is SO cute! I am redoing my daughter’s room in these two colors, I ordered a new purse in orange/pink, I LOVE this combo. Here is a set done with Jenean Morrison’s California Dreamin’ line that has beautiful combos of orange, pink, and green. Enjoy!
