Fun New Children's Book....

2011-01-11T22:52:00.001-05:00

Check out this new children's book by Immedium press. I absolutely love the art work! I found this book at the Kid Robot today and couldn't help but take a closer look. The fun illustrations totally caught my eye. Later, after doing some research online, I learned that the creative team behind this awesome book are known as DGPH, which are based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This cool little mascot is called Topo which means "mole" in spanish. Space Cadet Topo is such a cute little astronaut! I guess he's pretty big in Latin America, who knew! I'm so glad I found him. :o)

2010-12-06T00:43:00.004-05:00

Aww!! Check out this new little toy that looks like a real breathing pet, it's soooo cute. Of course I'd rather have the real thing, but if you live in an apartment that doesn't allow pets then this is the next best thing. Or if you want your real pet to have a friend to play with that's good too. Isn't it super cute??? If you want to adopt one then check out there website @ Pefect Petzzz! and adopt an adorable puppy, kitty or wild animal.

Monkey Business!

2010-12-02T22:40:00.003-05:00

What is a giant fat monkey doing in a park just lounging around? I mean honestly what would you do? What Would John Quinones Do? This is just no ordinary monkey, this is a monkey constructed from thousands of colorful sandals. Now I don't know about you, but somebody must be wondering where the heck their sandals went. That sneaky monkey!!! Seriously though this giant monkey sculpture is the creation of a Dutch artist named Florentjin Hofman. It's currently hanging out at a park in São Paulo. So if you happen to be in the area please give Mr. Giant Fat Monkey a high five!

Coraline

2009-01-11T01:32:00.000-05:00

Coraline, written and directed by Henry Selick and based on the internationally best-selling novel by Neil Gaiman. Movie looks fun and reminds me of Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas. So if you enjoy those kind of films then it might be worth checking out. I know I will.

Lost and Found

2009-01-11T01:11:00.000-05:00

This movie was inspired and adapted by the award winning children's book author known as Olivers Jeffers. I'm actually not too familiar with his work but I happen to stumble upon a short read regarding this film and well the illustrations were great so I thought I'd share. It's supposed to be a sweet story about friendship.

Hey All, first of all I must apologize for not updating my site so much but it's 2009 and I promised myself I'd keep it up. Take in mind you may find my site transforming from time to time. So please continue to enjoy! Now back to my interestiing posts.

Have you ever walked down the street and thought "Cake Toppers!"? Well maybe not, unless your planning a wedding (um nooooo, not yet) or you just happen to spend your evenings like me searching for cute things that link to other cute things that link to other cute things etc...I swear sometimes it gets late and I look at my clock and yikes it's 4am....this is my life people. I love cute things! How pathetic am I, but seriously I can't help it so don't hate me because I'm cute..ha.

Ok soooo, this cake topper pictured above is just so adorable, am I right ladies? I mean have you ever seen anything like this. Well this woman who wrote on some martha stewart craft forum whose face is also behind the fabulous umbrella in the pic found it online and thanks to her I now have that link:

http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=19302798

Now I know it's a tad pricey maybe but it's so worth it. I mean how many people do you know who had wedding cakes like this. Something to think about....

I'm back on my blog and I have some interesting stuff to share. I came upon this singer named Kerli which I found on iTunes during my search for new music and I couldn't help but notice her album cover. It made me curious to check her music out as well as the artist she chose to create her cool gothic like art. And after searching I found out that th artist name was BlueBlack. If your curious to check it out too and see the gallery of artwork go here: http://blueblack.deviantart.com/

K, that's all for now. More to come soon......
