Music Video: Lioness - All Black Winterness

2011-03-11T23:31:00.005+00:00

OMG... I had to add this too my blog IMMEDIATELY!!

Lioness completely kills this track! The punchlines are disgusting - I absolutely love it haha! Really liking the video as well - although its very simple, it allows Lioness to carry a lot of character and the entire focus stays on her as well as the shots being quite eye capturing.

This is a big thumbs up for me! Take a look...

Music Video: B Live Frisco & Demolition Man - Food To Eat

2011-03-05T16:03:00.006+00:00

Looks like the old skool lot have come out to play. Never thought I'ld hear a current track from B Live, who stems from the UK Garage scene of the 90's and also Demolition Man (aka Demo) - also a big ting back in the day with his sick ragga vibes.

Frisco as per usual goes in, the beat is sick - yea man, its a banger, I like it! Let me know your thoughts peeps...

2011-02-26T01:00:00.002+00:00

I just have one question... Can P Diddy actually play the piano, or is he just stunting? I'm liking this video still - loving the colour variation of red, black & white. Simple studio shots but extremely effective. I'm really enjoing the Dirty Money vibe. If you aint copped the album 'Last Train to Paris' yet... what you waiting for? High ratings from me... I'm loving this track and video from SnakeyMan. This is the official music video for 'Terry' the Movie.

The video concept is very creative and original. I'm really liking the fact SnakeyMan can bring his acting and music career, into one with support from both sides. Check out all the cameo appearances, from some familiar TV faces such as; Noel Clarke, Jason Maza, Leo Gregory, Louisa Lytton, Devon Anderson and MC Harvey.

Music Video: Trey Songz - Love Faces

2011-02-16T21:54:00.005+00:00

All I can say is WOW! Loving this visual , I really appreciate the fact that its not a typical bedroom scene video. Very smart how they manipulated the 'Love Faces' in a form of art. This track has always been one of my faves from Trey's album 'Passion, Pain & Pleasure', now I'm pleased I have something more concrete to base my personal Trey Songz love faces lol. Check out the video and feel free to share your thoughts...

Music Video: Marsha Ambrosius - Far Away

2011-02-16T20:54:00.005+00:00

I absolutely love this track by Marsha... its such a beautiful song! For those of you who may not know who Marsha Ambrosius is, she is the wonderful singer/songwriter who was part of UK homegrown duo Floetry and best known for writing 'Butterflies' for the late Michael Jackson. Marsha has been back for a hot minute now but it's this track, that really made me pay attention. Check out the video for 'Far Away' which deeply touches on bullying, gay bashing and suicide...

If you like this, then get ready for the release of her debut solo album 'Late Nights & Early Mornings' out March 1st 2011 (Stateside only I think). Click HERE to check out her website and keep up to date with her current news.

2DIE4 THE MOVIE

2011-01-24T22:40:00.006+00:00

2DIE4 THE MOVIE

It looks like 2011 is going to be a good year for UK talent! With British artists and actors getting more recognition globally, there is no surprise that it's now time for UK rapper/actor/director Fredi KRUGA Nwaka, starts work on his first feature film.

After screening his short film Men Lie, Women Lie but The Facts Don't at the BAFTA'S in October 2010, Kruga has gone from strength to strength.

2DIE4 is a feature-length film shot in London, New Jersey, Las Vegas, Trinidad and the Cayman islands written and directed by KRUGA himself.

IF YOU STOLE 7.5 MILLION POUNDS.... WHERE WOULD YOU HIDE?

Kai Griffin runs a successful high spec car business in The Caymans, Shane Griffin opened one of New Jerseys hottest strip joints and Trey Griffin always had his sights set on Vegas to do nothing but party. Stealing 7.5 million pounds in cash and jewels from the Murphy Brothers, one of London's elite crime family's made it all a reality.

When their mother, younger sister and nephew are kidnapped, the three brothers are forced to leave their luxurious lifestyles behind and return to London in a desperate bid to save there family from certain death. After all, no one f**k's with the Murphy Family and expects to get away with it.

What follows is a violent game of what can only be described as 'street Chess' in which three brothers must make the right moves to save there loved ones and escape the clutches of this ruthless crime family.

It's not what you know, it's who you know and in the criminal underworld everyone knows everyone.

The film incorporates themes such as betrayal, family, honour, love and choices to propel the story above your typical gang film. This is a story of loyalty, greed and betrayal.

Although still in pre-production stages 2DIE4 has already confirmed U.S actors Fredro Starr (Save The Last Dance, Moesha, Blade Chronicles), Du 'Do it 'all'' Kelly (Platinum selling rap group Lords Of The Underground, Soprano's, CSI) and the infamous Bang Em Smurf to the cast.

Music Video: Chipmunk Feat. Chris Brown - Champion

2010-12-25T21:48:00.006+00:00

I have to admit - when I first heard this track - I didn't really 'connect' with the song immediately, I thought Chris Brown went 'hard' but then Chippy's part was a bit monotone. You know what doe - this is actually one of my tracks of the year - and I am so happy and so proud of this collaboration. Chipmunk actually goes in on this track, I think it was just one of those things with me, whereby first time you hear it, you go by sound alone but once you hear it again, you actually start to analyse the elements of the track e.g. full production and lyrics and then the appreciation nicely settles in place. Chipmunk and Chris Brown really compliment each other on this track. I wont be suprised if Chippy's Stateside fanbase goes through the roof from this project.

The video is absolutely amazing - I loved 'Deuces' and this definitely has the same feel and vibe, which is obviously that Colin Tilley touch.

That's enough waffling, it is Christmas after all... so if you have not seen this yet, enjoy this amazing musical masterpiece (in my opinion anyway), let me know your thoughts and Merry Christmas.
