It's Sneak Peek #1 over at DeNami for their latest 2012 release! I am super excited to be here today along with Lisa P. and Emily! I am sure they have adorable projects to share!

So here are my cards...using one of DeNami's newest sets...coming to you in CLING MOUNT! I don't know about you, but I love this new option! The storage is so much easier and its great to be able to see where you are stamping! Here is my first card...

This first one showcases an AMAZING new background...but more on that coming soon! ;) This adorable butterfly is from the new Fancy Flutters set! I have a couple more cards to show you using this same set and different butterflies that are included.

This card is a super simple card that was so easy to put together! Now that the stamps are cling mount, its really easy to see right where you are stamping!

This last card uses one more little guy from the Fancy Flutters set! Super CAS and so much fun! This is also another new sentiment from DeNami. I think this is already one of my new favorites!

I had to stop in right quick with a super simple card. I looked back at the cards that I had photographed forever ago and never posted and found this one. This one, I am certain, came from a little Cristina influence. She is amazingly talented and not to mention very sweet! So here it is...

That adorable gingham paper is from Amuse. Layered with a mat stack and some foam tape. Easy peasy!

I have just finished up some posting, scheduled for the next few days! I am going to be away from the blogo for a few days but wanted to let you know to stay tuned for some amazing...AMAZING things...from both DeNami and Clear and Simple! You are NOT going to want to miss it! I am sure over the next few days I will be laying around quite a bit, so I am hoping to catch up with all my blog friends! It's time for another DeNami product spotlight! This super cute little sentiment just in time for St Patrick's day! Here is my card...

I used my Zing to cut out these fun little shamrocks. You can go HERE for the free svg file. I scored a line...which is hard to see in my pictures...and then added the shamrocks below. The sentiment was perfectly placed with my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig! Love that thing...a lot!

It is a gorgeous day here in Kansas! We just got home from church and I thought...I should take a nap today. That didn't happen. How come when you have stuff going on and want to take a nap, you could just pass out? Then when you actually have time to take a nap, you can't? Hate that. I have been dealing with the oh so fun....kidney stones this week and so maybe I am all sleeped out. lol.

Here is a card I made last week at Amy's house! She had these OH so adorable stamps...I just texted her to ask her the name and I haven't heard back yet so I will add the link when I find out! I love love these clouds...

I stamped Turning A New Leaf from PTI behind the "window" made from PTI's Take Three die. I added a Copic colored butterfly from Butterfly Dreams and the sentiment from Communique Sentiments. I finished the butterfly off with my favorite silver pearls and I can't forget that woodgrain impression plate too!

It's group post day over at Clear and Simple Stamps! Today's theme was to make a card using sentiments, background text, and a fun alphabet to help you create to your hearts desire. I picked up my new critter sets and found a fun little sentence to make! Here is my card...

These words were put together using Party Elements: Critters and Critter Sentiments. I colored the letters in with Copics, added those fun little hearts from Taglines: Critters and then layered the whole thing with some cute little polka dot paper!

Welcome home...

I'm home from my crafty weekend with Amy, Jen and Barb! I love being able to get away and talk stamping for a couple days with friends who get it! LOL! I am so lucky to have them close. And I already can't wait for next time! Here is this first card I made this weekend using one of Amy's stamps...

This is a Hero Arts stamp that I must have now. I stamped it using PTI's new kraft ink...need that too! The little heart is from Clear and Simple's Taglines: Critters set. It fit perfect in that doorway!

So now I am off to unpack my stuff. I didn't have to take much and am so glad I didn't because I had so much fun using Amy's stamps! She had some fun sets that I hadn't seen before. I'll be back to share those on another day. Can you believe we didn't take one single picture? We realized that as we were leaving Chipotle yesterday! We had to stop for lunch before we left town and we are all sorta in love with that place!

I am also coming home to an amazing box of Clear and Simple goodies! The March/April release is here! I can't wait to dig in and start making some stuff! I know I already tweeted this last week and shared it on Facebook but I'm pretty excited about this so I want to share it again here...

Clear and Simple stamps will now come in a DVD case! The best part? The sets will have a pocket inside to keep their coordinating dies! How cool is that? Stop back by tomorrow for the CSS Group projects! And then again March 1st! You won't want to miss this AMAZING release!

Hearts, hearts, hearts...

Once I saw the challenge over at PTI, I knew exactly what I wanted to whip up this morning! It took me a couple of tries to get the layout just right but here is what I came up with..

So for this card I used 4 PTI stamps sets...Polka Dot Basics I, Embellishments, Mehndi Medaillions, Background Basics: Hearts. The papers are Pure Poppy, Sweet Blush, Smokey Shadow and White. You can see I added in a little Linen IP...do I even need to say that part anymore? LOL. These fun hearts are dies from CSS!

I am super excited to be at my friend Amy's house this weekend! Jen and I came up yesterday and we are craftying away! We have lots of material to work with, with all these PTI challenge going on! I am thinking I am going to tackle some of the sketches here soon. Maybe we will post some pics to share soon!

PTI Anniversary: Day 2...

Totally bummed I missed yesterdays contest, but I am here with one today! I loved LOVED Mailes little digi stamp, so I hit print and went to work! Here is my card...

I colored the image using Copics and then added some Melon Berry frame and some Swiss Dot Satin ribbon! You can barely see it, but yes...there is some Linen IP going on in the back!

We are all back to normal for the most part....as normal as we can be here in this house! Only some coughing but NO more fevers! Thank the Lord!

Hope you are your families are all well! We are off to enjoy this 54 degree, Winter day!

You're Invited...

to a Woodland Party! And to the Release Review for Clear and Simple Stamps! With this bimonthly release, we had SO many fun new sets! We are having a blog hop today to continue sharing all that is available for the January/February Release! There is a party going on today, so I hope you will stay around and hop with us!

I have created a set of invites and some matching cupcake toppers using a couple of the new Critter sets. Here is my party project...

I have some pictures to share to show you just how easy these invites are to make! You need a few supplies first:

Kraft Cardstock

Party Elements: Critters

Taglines: Little Critters

If you want to make the cupcakes and Critter decorations, you need these supplies:

For the invitations I took 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" pieces of kraft cardstock. I stamped You're Invited on the top of each card first, making these in assembly line style. Next, I laid out DATE, TIME, PLACE, and RSVP so I could see right where they needed to go...

I took a clear block and put it right down on top of the stamps, so each time they would stamp the same...

Here is a picture of my assembly line. I put each stamp on a different block, laid everything out to keep it going.

A quick tip for making the lines, I used a line stamp from Tweet Notes I. I added a sticky note to the side of the cardstock to mask off and make a clean edge. This made the stamping super easy and fast. Much easier than drawing lines with a ruler!

Here is a picture of my 6 invites after I stamped the little critter up in the corner. I colored them in with Prismas and OMS. (And I just realized I didn't get a picture of that!)

Here are those cupcake toppers. My disclaimer here....by no means am I a Copic artist. I have come to the realization that I don't have to make everything look perfectly blended. A good solid color on the image never hurts! :) Although I did try tome on the fox and the owl...that is why they are in the back! hehe!

(and yes I did make my own cupcakes and frosting! YUM!)

Fun with dies...

When the cloud dies came out from Lil Inkers, I remember Debby made a card with them turning them into trees. It was brilliant. And SO adorable! Every time I look at the dies, I see trees now! Here is my CASE of Debby's tree card...

The trees, grass and sentiment are from PTI's Everyday Button Bits. I used Simply Chartreuse for the trees and Amuse Grass Ink for the grass. :) The sentiment and tree trunks are from my most favorite brown ever...Java Jumbo Versamagic...or is it Jumbo Java...I always have it backwards! :) And last but not least, you can see my most used crafting tool...the Linen IP. I looked at it today and I think its starting to wear down because I use it so much! Not really! ;)

This is the first card I have made in several days. We have been so blessed with all of us staying fairly healthy this year...until last Sunday. My week has been mostly dealing with little ones and fevers as high as 104.8. Talk about one freaked out Momma. I'm a nurse and that still made me panic. Then after he started feeling better, the little sweetheart passed it on to me. It's been no fun at all! I am thinking though, that we are all on the mend. But my house looks like a disaster! So off to clean I go!

Lucky Charm

Here we are with day 3 of the Clear and Simple Release Review! Today I am sharing a little holiday party favor using the set, Lucky Charm...

I used the elements of the Lucky Charm set to decorate the Party Favor Box #1. I added some black twine for a little more decoration! Fill this up with some chocolate and you have a fun little treat!

Clear and Simple Release Review

Just in case you missed it, one month ago, Clear and Simple released some AMAZING new products! And since they have gone to bimontly releases, we are here to share a review of all those amazing new stamps and dies. I am here today to showcase the set, Cupid Love. Here is my card...

The main image is actually 2 stamps, stamped side by side. Then I added the text box and text, all from this same set. I added some texture with an impression plate and then added a little silver to finish it off. Super simple! Here is the full set...

Another Valentines...

Either I better start selling these cards, or my husband is going to have a LOT of Valentines this year! LOL! Here is another one...

This heat, sentiment and the brackets are all from the Craft's Meow...All you need is love set. And yes...I love it. A lot. The brackets are actually apart of another sentiment but I just carefully inked them up and added them here. I just love this sentiment. Too cute! Stay tuned this week, because I have some more coming with this set!

I finally had a chance to stop and look at some CHA pics on facebook! I am totally wishing I could have been there....(a nice way of saying I'm jealous!) I am seeing some fun new products that I am going to *need*, if you know what I mean! :)
