Surviving the holidays this year may be hard especially since Mercury is in Retrograde in Sagittarius (December 2-December 22, 2017). The shadow period of the Retrograde is November 15th 2017 - January 10th 2018. This means that there will be residual effects of the Retrograde during this time.

In 2017, Mercury retrogrades four times which begins a new nine-year cycle. During the next nine years expect to grow in a different direction, expect things to turn around and change. New people and circumstances will enter our realm in the next nine years bringing us new adventures and opportunities.

In astrology, Mercury rules communication, technology & travel and therefore all of these areas are problematic during this time. The current Retrograde is occurring in the sign of Sagittarius. This summer we have been through a lot of things astrologically; from Mercury retrograde August 12 to September 5, 2017, Saturn turning direct and the lunar and solar eclipses in August. Of a solar eclipse generally last for about one year. Interestingly enough, the total solar eclipse occurs at the Leo New Moon. During the total solar eclipse on Monday August 21st it is not a good day to schedule a major event, have an elective surgery (this doesn't include emergency surgery) or sign an important contract. Lunar eclipse today maybe felt 90 days before the eclipse starts. The lunar eclipse is the opening start of a Big Show in August that leads up to the total eclipse of the sun on August 21st. The Aquarius full moon is a good time to tie up loose ends and complete things with friends and wind down projects. Energies maybe a little more chaotic and unstable at the time of an eclipse. However, this is a more peaceful Eclipse because the Sun and Moon are making friendly alignments with Saturn and Jupiter. The Tarot tells me that any negotiation this week will go in OJ’s favor. He will be facing schedule changes, which indicates to me that he's leaving Prison. He does sign a contract and he will have a financial settlement coming up. The Tarot says he will be released from constraints and bonds soon. His reading indicates he will receive good news soon and reward after hard work and effort being a model prisoner. Spirit tells me that a difficult situation will soon be resolved for him and a valuable ally will give him support.

When he is released from Prison, he will be offered a few new business opportunities. He will also have to choose between 2 paths, 2 places/states to live in. OJ was born with Saturn Conjunct Pluto in Leo. This is a difficult aspect since Pluto rules death/transformation & obsession and Saturn is about authority and restrictions. There are two Solar Eclipses occurring in 2017. An Annular Eclipse on February 26, 2017 and a Total Solar Eclipse on August 21, 2017.

An eclipse is an astronomical event that occurs when one object in the sky moves into the shadow of another. A Solar Eclipse is when the Moon’s shadow crosses Earth’s surface and a lunar eclipse is when the Moon moves into the shadow of Earth.

Generally, there are four eclipses in a year and in rare cases, there are five or six eclipses in a year. A lunar eclipse always occurs at the full moon, while a solar eclipse always occurs at the new moon.

Eclipses affect us and bring about the unexpected in our horoscopes. They are tools that the universe uses to get us to pay attention to areas in our life that we need to change. On the morning of Sunday 26 February 2017 the solar eclipse will be visible from south America. It then ends in south-western Africa at sunset. Being an annular solar eclipse, not all of the Sun will be darkened. The divided nation of the USA will bring people together. Traditional beliefs will be challenged as never before. There will be big breakthroughs in technology, politics, and biotechnology. Big business and organized religion may object, but with Pluto slowly moving through Capricorn starting in 2018, the establishment is due for an overhaul. Fortunately for us, Uranus is powerfully positioned in 2017, indicating that the world is indeed moving forward. We can look forward to progress regarding our rights, and the rights of many others. The Numerology of 2017 shows that the year 2017 will bring new beginnings and much activity.

From a numerological standpoint, 2017, when you add them up: 2 + 0 + 1 + 7 = 10 and that is distilled down to: 1 + 0 = 1

2017 will be a great year of change and Terrorism will calm down just a little…I do not see as many celebrity deaths this year. This is a good year to start something new but also to complete what you finished.

I should have wrote this at the beginning of the year but brushed it off, mostly in denial. 2016 is the Year of Completion. I do not remember a year with so many celebrity deaths. I predicted that after Carried Fisher died that 2 more famous people would die. Her mother Debbie Reynolds just passed. It was not coincidence. This year is very evident that things happen for a reason and that there is an after life. Carrie and Debbie have a soul connection and cannot be apart. So one more famous person will pass before 2017 rings in. I lost 2 people close to me that were dear to me and a family pet! I almost lost a close person in an accident and by a miracle he survived. 2016 rounds up to a 9 Universal Year in numerology, so there will be a collective focus on completions, endings, and regeneration. This will be a year of raised spiritual awareness and breakthroughs on many levels. At times it will bring people inward and make them more reflective than they may be accustomed to if they are not introverted by nature.2016 brings deaths, breakups, business collapses, and betrayals, particularly during the last three months. We have a few days left. If you make it...it means that you still have work left to do. Since 2016 rounds off to 9 in numerology, it relates to the Hermit card of the Major Arcana/Tarot. This is the card of wisdom, discernment, completion of unfinished business and going quietly within. It is a card suggesting both silence and determination as methods for advancement. At times the best mode of operation will be to retreat from everything external and to find resonance with inner truth. Lets try to get through 2016 and better things will come in 2017.......

2016 claimed it's last celebrity....William Christopher, the actor best known as Father Mulcahy on the classic sitcom M.A.S.H., died 12/31/16 following a battle with lung cancer. He was 84, and died in his Pasadena, CA home.

The last of four Mercury Retrograde phases in 2016 begins on December 19th and lasts until next year on January 8th, 2017. It begins in the sign of Sagittarius, and ends in the sign of Capricorn. In astrology, Mercury rules communication, travel, and technology—so these areas go haywire for about three weeks.

During Mercury retrograde, Mercury, the planet closest to the sun appears to slow down in its orbit and move backward for a short period. Mercury retrograde also has what’s called a “shadow period” so you may feel the retrograde a couple weeks before and after it actually happens.

Keeping the Holiday Traditions Alive!

The holidays are a great time. The time for lights, hot coco, candy canes, festive music and cheer.

Despite the magic and the twinkling lights, this magical time of year can hit home for those who have lost their loved ones! My advice to clients that have lost loved ones is to keep their memory alive! Light a candle for them during the holidays. If you have children that never met a relative that passed, pull out their picture, reminisce, talk about past holidays together!

The best way to remember a loved one who has passed during the Holidays is to recreate a holiday tradition that was special to them. My grandmother used to have a cookie exchange party during the holidays. It was a great time to get together with aunts and cousins. Listen to holiday music and be festive and jolly! Some of my cousins even played carols on my grandmother’s piano! I’ve kept this tradition alive with friends and even co-workers during the years! It is so much fun to get different cookies and other recipes that are special to people. It also kept me close to my grandmother who I miss dearly this time of year.

Years ago, I created a Memory book with my grandmother. I spent years and countless hours interviewing her to find out about different phases of her life. I came across the Memory Book the other day and was reading about how my grandmother entertained the troops in the 1940’s with her dancing during WWII. My grandmother was a wonderful dancer and she created and sewed such beautiful costumes! I got a little teary but reading and remembering this made me feel a strong connection with her even though she is in spirit. Enjoy the holidays and find creative ways to stay close to your loved ones. They are still around you in spirit!

Here is a recipe:

Old Fashioned Sugar Cookies

makes 2 ½ dozen cookies

3 cups flour1/2 tsp baking soda1/2 tsp baking powder1 cup butter (room temperature but not melted)2 eggs1 cup sugar1 tsp vanilla

Mix together flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Add butter and use a mixer to blend ingredients until butter is in small pieces.

In a different bowl beat eggs. Mix in sugar and vanilla. Add into first mixture. Mix until all wet and dry ingredients are well combined. Use your hands to form dough into a a cohesive ball. Dough is easiest to work with if you chill it before rolling and cutting.

Work with a small amount of dough at a time, so the dough doesn’t get over-worked. Flour surface before rolling dough out. I roll the dough to just over 1/4″ thick, for thick, cake-y cookies. Cut out cookies and place on a parchment lined baking sheet.

Bake at 375° for 6 to 8 minutes or until bottom’s of cookies are lightly golden brown

Seeing the San Bernardino Tragedy 12/2/2016

It was a clear sunny day on December 2, 2015 in Southern California. Jaime was visiting a local college about 40 miles from San Bernardino, CA. Off the major highway where a terrible tragedy was about to happen in San Bernardino. As Jaime was getting ready to leave the campus, she happened to say hi to a nice Riverside County Sheriff. He was very friendly and we were talking about the campus. I told him that I was not originally from California and that I am originally a “Midwest Girl.” Upon waking up that morning I had some “odd feelings” that I could not shake. We all just came off from the shock of the “Paris Tragedies” so I thought maybe that contributed to the way I was feeling. I asked the sheriff if we were safe out here in California from Terrorists. He assured me that we were. I did not want to tell him that I felt something could happen because many people do not believe in Psychics and I did not want him to think I was crazy. We talked for about 10-15 minutes and he kept assuring me that we were all safe here and the police and sheriffs would protect us. I just could not shake this feeling. He did calm me down. We shook hands & I went on my way and he went on his way. Very nice man! Then 15 minutes later as I drove onto the highway towards home, I saw a bunch of black SUV police cars on the side of the road. I wondered what was going on… I generally did not see things like that. I got a text from a friend when I got home that there was a massive shooting at a Center in San Bernardino. My heart sunk! I turned on the TV watching the events unfold. How horrible! A year after the tragedy, I wish the victims and their family love and peace. This is such a terrible event and these things keep happening unfortunately. My wish is that in the New Year, we come together as a nation and that we can have peace from these awful events. My heart is with all of the victims from this and any other terrorist event, from 9-11 to the recent Ohio State University attack. My prayers and peace are with you.

Mercury retrograde is a great opportunity to handle unfinished business. Most of us start a million things that we don’t complete, never realizing how much psychic clutter this creates. The retrograde is like a quarterly review, a chance to tie up those loose ends and create a clear vision for the future. Essential Oils have been around for centuries. They are very healing and there are many therapeutic uses for them. In ancient times essential oils were used by Priests & Priestesses. Essential Oils were known to attract spirits, gods and goddesses and to banish evil spirits. Essential oils help in healing processing & they have many uses. They help to alleviate both physical and mental symptoms that one may experience. Aromatherapy utilizes plant oils that are extracted by a process of distillation. Today, over 300 oils are used by professionals.

One of my favorite oils is Lavender. Lavender itself is a very versatile herb. The Latin name of lavender is Lavare, which means “to wash”, due to its aroma, which has a particularly clean aroma. Lavender oil is extracted from the flowers of the lavender plant, primarily through steam distillation. The flowers of lavender are fragrant in nature and have been used for making potpourri for centuries. Traditionally, lavender essential oil has also been used in making perfumes. Its various health benefits range from pain relief and mental clarity to use as an anti-bacterial cleanser and a natural deodorant. The health benefits of lavender essential oil include its ability to eliminate nervous tension, relieve pain, disinfect the scalp and skin, enhance blood circulation and treat respiratory problems.

Lavender can be applied as an essential oil, dried herb, distilled in water, and as (edible) therapeutic-grade oil. Lavender and Tea Tree Oil are the only oils that can be applied directly to the skin. Any other oil has to be mixed with a “Carrier Oil" to prevent the essential oil from burning the skin. A Carrier oil, also known as base oil is used to dilute essential oils and absolutes before they are applied to the skin in massage and aromatherapy. They are so named because they carry the essential oil onto the skin.

As a psychic and a paranormal investigator, I use essential oils for cleansing. Lavender helps to remove unwanted energies that will not leave a space. Traditionally it is used to neutralize bad frequencies during cleansing rituals. Lavender is also known to be relaxing, so having it in a room before a social event can prevent negative energy before it starts. Focusing office blend

Try a combination of 5 drops of peppermint and 5 drops of rosemary when you need to stay focused and on task. add 3/4 cup distilled water, 2 tablespoons vodka, rubbing alcohol, or real vanilla extract. Combine in an 8oz spray bottle, shake well, and spray as needed.

Deodorizing bathroom blend

Use the natural antibacterial power of 5 drops of cinnamon oil, 5 drops of clove oil and 5 drops of tea tree oil to freshen up the bathroom.add 3/4 cup distilled water, 2 tablespoons vodka, rubbing alcohol, or real vanilla extract. Combine in an 8oz spray bottle, shake well, and spray as needed.

Lavender has many healing properties and is very cleansing. When people enter a space it can have either uplift you or deplete you. Essential oils can help clear negative energy and helps to raise your vibrational frequency. Some are better at it than others. Lavender has help and cleansing properties. Lavender Essential Oil is Integrating, balancing, healing, protective & purifying. It helps to aid in meditation, it stimulates dream recall and clairvoyance. It also opens Third-Eye Chakra. Lavender oil is associated with the element of Air.

The healing properties of Lavender include: Relaxation. It aids with sleep and is a great oil to use during meditation. It also helps with the treatment of headaches. It helps with anxiety as well. It helps lower emotional and mental stress.

Lavender essential oil is also often used to treat various aches and pains such as sore or tense muscles, joint pain, rheumatism, and sprains. Lavender Oil benefits also include relief from back pain. Getting a Lavender Oil massage will ease away many tension and pains.

You can also use Lavender as an insect repellent. Many flying insects dislike the smell of lavender, making it a safe alternative to other topical insect repellents. Plant lavender around windows and doors to prevent bugs from entering your house. You can also hang bags of dried lavender in closets or stow them in drawers to repel moths. Sprinkle lavender oil on a mattress to ward off insects in the bedroom. Lavender also aids with nail fungus. To help with this, you can soak your feet in gallon of warm water using 10-20 drops of Lavender Oil.

You can use lavender for many things including: Combating an ear ache: Massage warm lavender oil into skin behind ears, over temples, under the jaw, and on the sides of the throat to relieve symptoms of an earache.

Another use is for Motion Sickness. Apply a drop of lavender oil to various pressure points on face, wrists, etc to help with minor nausea and disorientation due to motion sickness. While this remedy is effective in the short-term, it is not recommended for longer periods where motion sickness may be a persistent problem such as on airplanes or cruise ships.

Lavender Oil is also beneficial for reversing hair loss! Lavender oil used daily as part of a stimulating scalp massage can help to regrow hair. While this treatment is slow – sometimes taking several months or more – it is a proven natural remedy for hair loss. Please note that I will be adding a store to sell my essential oil blends. Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 1 hour

Instructions

Strain mixture through a fine-mesh sieve and discard the lavender and lemon zest. Store sealed in the refrigerator for use.

"Well here I go again…..I see the crystal visions……….." By: S. Nicks

Last Monday night was the season finale of ABC’s show The Bachelorette. JoJo Fletcher was this year’s Bachelorette. She is cute, lovable and sassy. Being Psychic I can often use my abilities to see who will come out on top on this dramatic reality show. Since I am Clairvoyant, I receive my information visually. Although sometimes what you “see’ or “predict” is not always what you want to have happen. But isn’t that often true to everyday life? It’s really no different than watching a show like the Bachelorette. Last night JoJo had to choose between two men, Robby and Jordan. I really wanted her to pick Robby. Robby was very open with JoJo, romantic, emotional and lovable. He really wooed her family too. Robby was very genuine and has blue eyes that match the sea. One look into those baby blues and your heart simply melts! Despite the gushing about Robby, he was not my first pick. I actually liked Jordan better! But in the past few weeks I grew to like Robby more, especially after his hometown date with JoJo. As a psychic, I could pick up that Robby’s energy & intent were very genuine. My psychic ability picked up that Jordan did/does not like JoJo as much as Robby did. Unfortunately, JoJo does have a history of picking guys that are not the greatest for her. Sometimes we want what is more challenging to have in life. As a Psychic, I can pick up that Robby’s chakra’s are very open whereas Jordan’s are closed or barely open at all! Robby’s heart chakra was really opened to the fullest. As a Psychic, I picked up that Jordan holds a lot back. He is not open energetically and does not express himself very well emotionally. The Heart Chakra has to do with love and compassion and is located in the center of the chest. The heart chakra is strongly associated with our deep emotional bonds with others. I believe this is the reason Robby was able to be more open with JoJo.

When JoJo went to Robby’s hometown in Florida, I saw him open up. JoJo and Robby’s mother had a connection too & his mom was a sweetheart! I swear I could see these two have a girl’s day out filled with shopping, lunch and then more shopping! After Robby’s hometown, you could see JoJo & Robby’s chemistry. JoJo truly seemed to fall for him and he was gaga for her! As I watched Robby open up, I did not see much of an effort on Jordan’s part. He remained reserved up until the very end. I did see that Robby was just crazy for JoJo. As a psychic, I could see their connection and an intense energy between Robby and JoJo. Jordan just did not seem to have a genuine connection with JoJo as Robby did. We all know that most of these contestants come on the show for fame and notoriety, and I really saw this with Jordan, not so much with Robby. When the final two contestants met JoJo’s family on the season finale, Robby took the time to speak with both JoJo’s father and mother privately and asked both of them for JoJo’s hand in marriage. As a Psychic, I see that Robby has more regard for people’s feelings and he is a giver. Jordan is more Narcissistic. Jordan, however did not ask JoJo’s parents for her hand in marriage. As a last ditch attempt, he called her father and mother a few hours before the proposal asking for her hand in marriage. Can anyone say “TACKY”???!!! Or at least, “Last Minute Louie”??!!! From an energetic standpoint, JoJo should have picked Robby. Psychically, I can pick up that having a relationship with Robby is much easier than it is with Jordan.

Regardless of what chemistry I picked up, I clairvoyantly was shown that the answer to this love triangle will come through the distinct shape of the ring. Neil Lane comes in on every season of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. Neil has the contestants pick a ring for when they propose to The Bachelorette or The Bachelor. Spirit showed me a oval/circle shaped ring. Robby was the first one to meet with Neil Lane. Robby picked a square diamond surrounded by a row of diamonds for JoJo. Then Jordan met with Neil Lane. He picked the EXACT ring that I saw in my vison! I should have turned off that TV at that instant, knowing who the winner would be! It ended up that JoJo did pick Jordan. I was right! I do not see them lasting though. They are both in it for Fortune & Fame. With the Mercury in Retrograde coming on August 30, they will go through some tough times. It does not help either that JoJo, being a Sagittarius, her love house is virtually nonexistent this year. The good news is, is that her career is strong. This was a good career move for her. She will have a successful future without Jordan. Her career is just beginning and she on to bigger and better things. I also do not see Jordan and his brother, Green Bay Packers Quarterback Aaron Rogers resolving their differences anytime soon or even in this lifetime. Jojo has star power in her future, leaving Jordan in the dust. Although their love will not last, I do predict that she will keep the ring and the fame! LOL

1/4-1/2 ripe avocado2 medium ripe bananas, previously sliced and frozen1 cup fresh or frozen mixed Strawberries and Raspberries2 large handfuls spinach1 small handful kale large stems/spine removed1 1/2 - 2 cups almond milk or for vegans unsweetened non-dairy milk (will depend on if your berries are frozen)1 Tbsp flax seed mealOptional: 2 Tbsp salted creamy almond or peanut butter

TOPPINGS

1-2 Tablespoons sunflower seeds1/2 C. GranolaRaw or roasted nuts (almonds, pecans, walnuts, etc.)Shredded unsweetened coconutFresh berriesRaisons

Instructions

Add all smoothie ingredients to a blender and blend until creamy and smooth. Add more almond milk (or water) to thin.Taste and adjust flavor as needed, adding more ripe banana (or maple syrup) for added sweetness, more spinach for a bright green hue, or almond milk for creaminess.For the green smoothie I used strawberries, which let the green color come through more. For the purple bowl I used darker berries (raspberries, blackberries, blueberries).For more protein, add nut butter! Strawberry Full Moon & the Summer Solstice on June 20, 2016 Its highly unusual to have the full strawberry moon AND the summer solstice to reside on the same day! The summer solstice is one of the most powerful days to celebrate and honor the solar energy. Both the summer solstice & the full moon will bring a higher state of power, intention, drive and fire to this moon and day.

EarthSky.org said a full moon on a summer solstice is a rare event, and another one is not likely to come around until June 21, 2062.

The summer solstice is the day with the most amount of sunshine as the sun will reach the highest point throughout the course of the year.

Despite its name, the strawberry moon will glow more of a warm amber color than pink or red.

Why is it called a strawberry moon? The Old Farmer's Almanac says the Algonquin tribe of Native Americans called the June full moon by that name because it occurred around the time the strawberries were being picked.

Areas of Life Mercury Rules

Mercury rules all types of communication, including listening, speaking, learning, reading, editing, researching, negotiating, selling, and buying. Mercury also rules all formal contracts and agreements, as well as important documents such as book manuscripts or term papers, agreements, deeds, contracts, leases, wills, etc.

Computers/Technology, as well as transportation, shipping, and travel. When this planet retrogrades, these areas tend to get scrambled or spin out of control. Computers and Technology tend to go "Out of Whack" types

Try not to make any important moves when Mercury is retrograde. Nothing will be settled successfully for the future during these periods and you will find it nearly impossible to nail down a plan. During a retrograde period, it is hard to get decisions from others. Even if a decision is made, it will be subject to change, either just after Mercury turns to direct motion or much later.

Mercury retrograde periods would not be good times to do anything involving communications, such as launch a website, a project or an advertising or publicity campaign.

When Mercury is in Retrograde poor times to launch any new endeavors, even if they are not related to the communications industries.

The retrograde period is not a good time to sign any contracts or even to shake hands on any new agreements. Do not close on a house during this time nor sign a lease. Verbal agreements are considered the same as written ones. The environment will be quite fluid and changeable, no matter what you are told or what you think.

Do Not Have Plastic Surgery or Other Elective Surgery When Mercury, Venus, and Mars Are Retrograde UNLESS IT's An EMERGENCY!

At other times in life, we do have a choice about when to schedule an operation or procedure. In those cases, such as having plastic surgery, it is best to avoid Mercury retrograde periods. These are periods where mistakes are more prone to happen than at other times, or when judgment is off. Your surgeon is under the same conditions as you, so I would suggest waiting.

I would also strongly suggest that you avoid plastic surgery when Venus retrogrades, because Venus rules beauty, and the whole purpose of the surgery is to improve your looks.

Mars rules the whole area of surgery, so you would ideally want Mars to be in the best possible form, too. It is said not to have an operation on the part of the body that the sign Mars is moving through rules. For example, if Mars happens to be in Capricorn, it would not be the best time for a knee operation because Capricorn rules the knees. It is said that Mars will increase pain and swelling. A full moon at the time of the surgery will increase bleeding. We do the best we can.

Let me reiterate, if you have an emergency, don't worry about any of these rules - have your surgery.

Strawberry Shortcake Pancakes

Ingredients

1/2 cup chopped strawberries

1/3 cup flour (ww pastry, white, spelt, or Bob’s gluten-free)

2 tbsp rolled oats

2/3 tsp baking powder

1/8 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract

1 tbsp sugar or 1 packet nunaturals stevia

1/3 cup milk of choice

1 tbsp unrefined coconut oil (Omit only if you like the taste of fat-free pancakes)

Instructions Strawberry Shortcake Pancakes: Combine dry ingredients in a bowl, then add wet. Mix, but don’t overmix. Cook on an oiled (or sprayed) pan, on low-medium, flipping each pancake once. You can boil some more strawberries (with a bit of sugar if you wish) and smash them to make a compote. Or top with fresh berries and *Homemade Healthy Whipped Cream*.

With recent events and violence in all parts of the world, it is important to keep peace and think good thoughts. Many of us feel uneasy about recent events. This recipe is great for anyone. Kids especially love these muffins as an afterschool snack. These muffins contain cinnamon & cinnamon is loaded with antioxidants. Cinnamon also contains anti-inflammatory properties. It also has been known to lower blood sugar and may cut the risk of heart disease. Cinnamon also has a beneficial effect for people who have Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease. Cinnamon has also been shown to protect against cancer. Like anything, use cinnamon in moderate doses. Enjoy this healthy fall recipe!

Little Hummingbird Cakes (grain free) 2 cups desiccated coconut 1 cup grated Zucchini 1 cup grated Carrot 1 cup grated Apple or crushed Pineapple (if using pinapple squeeze out excess juice) 1/4 cup of melted ghee or oil of choice 4 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/3 cup of honey (1/4 cup if using pineapple) Preheat oven to 160 degrees celcius and line a 12 hole muffin tray. Place coconut in the food processor and blend until chopped finely. Whisk wet ingredients together and stir through the coconut and the other ingredients until well combined. Spoon mixture into muffin pans and bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until lightly golden and cooked through. These can be served plain or with coconut cream ,cashew cream ,cream cheese or fresh fruit.
