Taken by me at M&T Bank Stadium. Jealous?

Alright people. Back from what felt like the longest international break in....well, ever, Chelsea will take on Wolves at the Bridge tomorrow, and will do so with what would have to be called a diminished lineup.

There were times in the early days of the 2009 SLeague when it seemed that Gabriel Obadin Aikhena was carrying the Young Lions singlehandedly.

He wasn't of course but the 24 year old defender did impress many with his robust performances for the Young Lions and hopes were high that he would become the next foreigner to step into the national team.

I've grown fond of playing the board game Risk with my family and friends. The concept of the game is simple, try to take over the world like the characters in the cartoon show "Pinky and the Brain" tried to do each week, but their schemes usually ended in some comically disastrous way.

This season's Premier League is looking more competitive and open than it has in many years. However, Sir Alex Ferguson envisages that it will come down to a two-horse race at the end.

The Manchester United manager currently sees his side sitting

Non Chelsea-related post: Well, not really. We play Voyeur's men in a little more than a week.

Quite hilarious advert from the Arsenal in support of their fundraising campaign this term. Cesc as a cute and cuddly pony is spot on; Theo as a lion, not so much. Never thought I'd say this, but well done Arsenal.

Twitter has brought us plenty of breaking news since it's become one of the quickest ways to spread news, and the Wizards have done their fair share of it. Wizards President Robb Heineman has given fans some news today as he announced "verbal agreement on assistant coach. hopefully announe soon, after contract signed".

Hot Hot Hangeland - For Now...

This gameweek is a double for a few teams including Fulham, which makes Brede Hangeland a fine pick for the next couple of weeks given Fulham's forthcoming fixtures (Bolton, Sunderland and Burnley after this week's double GW). Hangeland does well every season as a bargain priced defender, and is a key choice for those looking to hone in on Fulham's potential clean sheets.

More than enough has been written about the unfortunate turn-of-events when France advanced to the 2010 World Cup at Ireland's behest.

Though Thierry Henry is the culprit, he should not become a villain, nor have his reputation tarnished by what will surely become the omnipresent fine print in his character bio forever.

Last night the Wizards hosted a presentation on their World Cup bid for the 2018 or 2022 World Cup for members of the "new media" aka blogs. Due to other commitments, I was unable to attend the event, but Thad over at The Back Post did attend and has TONS of great information about the bid over on his blog.
