Social Bookmarking Script Version 2.0.2 and images

The new Social Bookmarking Script version 2.0.2 is ready for download.

This update makes some minor changes to the internal handling of url and title of the site.
Besides this there where some changes to the supported sites:

Relink: sbs_furl() now links internally to sbs_diigo() – Furl has closed it sites and was merged with Diigo.
Added: sbs_alltagz()
Added: sbs_identica()
Added: sbs_infopirat()
Added: sbs_mcbookmark()
Added: sbs_netselektor()
Added: sbs_twitter()
Added: sbs_t3n()

The new version is ready to download. Sites linking to the script on our site are using the latest version automatically.

Besides the new Version of the Script itself there is a new version of the ImagePack containing the icons for the added services.

For german speakers there is an interesting article about how to use the social-web to help you starting and establishing your own blog.
The article itself is mainly for beginners in the social-web. And which have a little blog or wants to start one.
But maybe even some pros can find some interesting info’s.

Blogprojekt.de is a site dedicated to help starting and promoting your own blog.

For many parts of the tips there the Social Bookmarking Script can help.

For the german speakers:
Ich kann jedem nur empfehlen der selber ein Blogprojekt startet oder in der Anfangsphase steckt dieses Blog sich anzuschauen und eventuell sich den Newsletter zu abonnieren. Selbst für alte Hasen kommen interessante Tipps.

Der Artikel selber ist eine sehr gute Zusammenfassung was das Social-Web eigentlich ist, und wie man selber dabei traffic- und bekanntheitsmäßig davon profitieren kann.

Updates and planned updates

As you may have noticed the webpages of the Social Bookmarking Script are in a new design. This was badly needed.

The News are now running on Wordpress. I had to say bye to Serendipity. And the design should now be the same as the main-page and without these ugly display errors it had in the past.

But enough of this.

After this visible update an update of the script itself is planned and will be coming soon.

And it will have an twitter integration. (I know… it is time… And… you can follow SBookmarking on Twitter.)

Besides this I will work on optimize the loading-speed of the script itself. For the download, and especially for the linking from this page. There I think I can even use gzip.
The benefits of this are clear. Google is looking more and more on the loading time of an website.

If you have some wishes for the next version just say so in the comments.

This update fixes some bugs.

A new Version of the Social Bookmarking Script is released with some updates and a new ImagePack is available for download.

Version of the Social Bookmarking Script: 2.0.0 (Happy Easter)
Version of the ImagePack: 1.0.2

Social Bookmarking Script Version 2.0.0
The new version of the script is necessary because we updated the use.
Till now it was only possible to bookmark the page the link was on. Now it will be possible to give a different URL and Title to the Script for bookmarking.

Give your users an way to bookmark articles or blogposts directly from an overview.

The common way to use this script is still useable. You don’t have to update your sites if you are already using SBS.

For more information about the code for the more complex form view the “Use”-Page. As you will see. It is really easy to use both forms. Simple and complex.

Besides this big update we have added support for the Health Ranker Service. (function: sbs_healthr();)

Please update the script if you want to use the new form or sbs_healthr() function.
If you are using the script directly from our site you are already using the newest version.
