Yes, start knowledge centeres near to the villages and which should act as the single point contact between villagers and the outside world. These centeres can potentially help in following areas

1. Recruit people for various skilled/unskilled catogaries.
2. Give training to them accordingly.
3. Help them for microfinancing.
4. Act as a potential hub for rural bpo or other semi skill work outsourcing etc.

Social Entrepreneur: Empowering the Rural India

Kindly read and give feedback to my initatives and dreams....

This blog is for communicating to the world about my Social Entrepreneurs activities and getting back the feedback and help from the community itself.

I think we, the IT people can do lot for improving the standard of living of the common man. Through that I presume that we can eradicate the poverty and joblessness in the society. This will help to reduce naxalism and terrorism up to a certain level. Moreover, I would like to fight against the anti social elements in the society whom are responsible for the wide gap between the people in the same community. I believe the whole issues behind the communal riots and the terrorism is nothing but the poverty, illiteracy and the wide gap between the poor and rich.

I think actively participating the poor people and lowest middle class will help to improve the situation a lot. Most of the time, it is the information gap, which holds back all the remote and poor people away from the opportunities. Even if they have the talent they are wasting their talent without knowing the potential. From my experience, the people from the lowest level also have the same level of talent like the people in urban area. Rather I could find more commitment and attitude towards work from these lower levels of families.

Hence, I would like to use my quest for entrepreneurship for these people. I believe that I can achieve some of my goals in life like empowering my country by contributing towards eradicating poverty, supporting the backward by providing the social and intellectual and monetary help.

If your goals and dreams are same, I request my fellow colleagues to join this bandwagon and help yourself to empower my country.

I am not speaking much about the ways in which we can address all these issues in this blog. However, I would like to know your feedback and help to achieve this goal.

If you have read upto this level, I can understand you are hearing my heartbeats. Then one obvious question will arise out of you....Who am I?
I am currently working in a firm in Banglore and earning a 6 figure salary and don’t want to disclose my identity until I am officially start for my venture.

One of the example which shows how can corporate world can help to empower the rural people.

You may already aware of the companies in India like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Reliance, Bharati, Tata and several companies which are making profit of more than 2000-4000 crore ( 30-40million USD) per year.

Have you ever thought that why cant they put 25% of their profit for social activities like reducing the poverty and educating lower class children?

Think that 25% is nothing but around 1000crore and can support around 2.5 lakh families to become above poverty line. With one forth of the profit of one year can eradicate poverty of 2.5lakh families, think if they can do this continuously and all the companies can join this, the poverty will be eradicated within 10-15 years. Also this profit is generated through the employment of around 50,000 people. In this also I am sure major part of the people are coming from the middle class and they are becoming the higher class due to the employment. But the lower class numbers will be very minimal and I want to target this lower class younger generation and bring them into middle class.

I know I am just dreaming but why can’t we try it for our organization? If we can repeat the success and make a model and apply it globally, we can solve most of the issues, which are facing by the world. As everybody knows, none of the people are born as terrorist or naxals but the circumstances forcing him to do. Hence, I would like to start a company which can address all the issues mentioned above. Please put your comments and feedbacks.....
