I write for Parenting and Moms. It is amazing how simple things lead to a conversation. It is great that Moms have the time and energy to stop by and share their opinion. Makes one feel good when at the other end your right receptor is responding. This makes complete sense, have a small following; which is ok. Having a huge herd and having no replies is not working.

Some say the probability theory works here. If you have lots of people then higher is the probability of interaction. I would be happy ofcouse if that was the case. However with stereotype responses in single or double digit responding does not make too much sense.

It is better to have a few genuine in depth conversations rather than spreading thinly.

Well it also is an individual and business decision that matters. Sometimes the number only matters. Try looking for engagement. Try getting the right people talking. The spiral effect can be contagious.

Your One Post. This is the story of one post, your one post that you put up on Social Media. Your efforts that you put out and then what happens to it!? Content is the King. Yes. To that King we have a kingdom. We have ministers, advisors, critics and blind followers. We also have espionage the traitors. We have warriors as well.

Your one post meets a lot of mindset within your range. Come along let's say hello to all.

People who Ignore your post. This happens in two way:

Ignore by ‘Who’ has given it. In the sense this person gives out useless stuff I will not look at it just scroll off.
Ignore by ‘Content’. In the sense if politics is talked about one does not get into it by principle.

Next we have the ones who like / comment for the sake of it. Shall I call them ‘Habitual’? They have this compulsive order [not disorder] to mention atleast one word in comments on your one post. [please at least take the effort to complete a thought my request to you, use a couple of more words please]
Next we have the ones who like / comment the golden ones whom we should treasure the ‘Genuine Believers’ in the content you have shared.They may disagree or agree but they are genuinely interested in the matter written.
Now we should not miss out on the ones who ‘Want To Be Seen With’. They would have left their mark in hope that the other people will associate with them for the sake of just being in accordance with the ‘Topic’ or ‘Person / Brand’ putting up the thought. This could be the main Author of the Post which is You or someone who has Commented on your Post with whom Shoulders are to be rubbed with. So get the point need not be You each time.!! Oh oh ! It was never your Post directly! But ofcourse logic states had it not been your post then this would have never happened…
And we also have the ‘Genuine Believers part 2’ those who want to follow a topic , either learn from it , or get to know it better etc, want more ideas etc.

I have not as yet touched on ‘Share’!

In times of lock-down 2020 we are now into April 23rd., what have you done in order to touch base with your Beloved Customer Base?

Have you tried to be in touch with them? Have you identified your Loyal Base still or are you saying that the office is locked so the CRM server is closed so no way to know who is the Loyal Customer. Thus you cannot keep in touch.

Or your IT person is not available so no way the CRM server can be started.

Does this make you realize anything?

You are as incapacitated as much as your server. This means in times like these when you could have offered a sensible service just not copy paste of ‘hope you are ok’ you could have given a value added service here you are stranded as ever.

OnLine Scenario has now extended onto Android and IOS platforms. Infact there is a whole new opportunity opening up.

There is opportunity for advertising and building relationships along with opportunity to earn.

A couple of years back earning from the internet was thought to be a very scammy situation. Where either you get cheated or you yourself are the cheater. To believe that a person could be doing real work was unbelievable and not conceivable. To further understand that the person is earning was an impossible thought.

Initial days saw the boom of web developers and internet systems managers.

Infact online earning was seen as a trouble spot in career. It would be seen as failure, laziness, since one works online - one does not have a good level of experience and lack of goal, ambition. Everything negative with regards to earning and career.

Having said this, the internet was seen as a knowledge bank were you find information about almost anything.

Later on the online world opened up to trading sites and freelance sites. There were tiny specs of business building up. Consumers were able to earn via sites that paid to view advertisements, paid you to take surveys etc. Essentially earning from here was seen as waste of time and did not make sense to many.

Still the respect especially for freelancing was much awaited. Sooner or later the bloggers were seen as passionate people who wanted to express but to earn from blogging was again a far off imagination. Add to this if one were to say that one was in a career of blogging then that would be seen as too much of a dreamer.

Soon the brands caught on and there was a plethora of brand and company websites. Created only for information. The internet was taken by a storm.

The gaming industry was already on a high. One space that was booming since its inception and is still booming today as well.

Much later in time and date came the Social Media platforms. These started off with a bang. It was all about being connected to people whom you knew and being connected to people that you did not know and perhaps will never know in the brick and motar world.

And then came the brands, companies and business houses trying to figure out on how best can internet be helpful in expanding their business. Soon the idea of procuring new customers and retaining them came about. Well the meaning of retention here was backed by building relationships. From hereon the possibilities of earning and career started to get focus. In the initial days Social Media lagged behind as the top management of companies were not really active on these platform. It was given to a trainee to handle until one day people realized that it is part of the whole branding exercise and a crucial one at that. However once the top management got into it Social Media became a serious business. With this opened Blogging once again to gain respect.

Freelancing now is a career option that people do regard with a lot of hope. The good news is that the online world is no more seen as dubious set of individuals.

The world has only grown. Now extending itself onto the Android and IOS platforms. Staying with you on your cell phones. There is a huge earning opportunity not only as App Developer but you earn as a basic user of couple of Apps. There are plethora of Apps that you can now start to earn from.

For The Brands and Business Houses the Customer Care and Customer Relationships essentially the acquisition and retention along with enhancement of relationship is coming on in a very big way for Brands via mobile Apps. Apps are extensions of Social Media.

We have arrived in a time where earning from the internet and mobile Apps is highly feasible. Not that there are no more scams; those will co-exist. However the opportunities to earn has grown. You can earn from freelancing and openly mention that you are a full time freelancer.

Hi everyone, hope things are going well with you. Seems like chat, to be more precise ‘chatting’, has become more helpful in how to spend or use your spare time at home due to COVID 19 Lock Down; [Coronavirus]. Ofcouse there is abundance of information floating around.

Folks have started to suggest to their friends on what best to do and how best to justify sitting at home. Like do courses. Or perhaps join hobby sections et al.

What have you been doing? Zoom chat has become popular - this is Video Chat where group individual chat is feasible. So though you are at your own home you can still see and talk with each other at same time.

What's more, virtual happy hour also goes on thanks to Zoom. Do you have anything to say?

I get the feeling people may have connected more with people this time than what they usually did ofcouse via Social Media.

Social Distancing has surely got reflected in the Brands. Certain Brands have rightly shown solidarity with the thought and oneness with the Consumer and Society at Large.

A decision to tamper with the Logo is naturally not taken in a day. It is a lot of thinking. There is a lot of empathy built in here. This could also be a build up for the future path to bring in a lot of flexibility in the Logo. A Logo that was fixed and around which festivities were shown now could perhaps have festivities bursting out of it if everything goes well.

‘Never play with the Logo’ norm may be re-looked at from an angle of not distortion but yes from an angle of ‘spark, to construct the same and bring in conformity’

Well, Distance brings us closer. The single point of magnetic gravitational pull that gets all formations actually bursting from it but yet rooted still to it. The Connecting center of the Logo.

Here is a website that tells you your age. Or let me put it as, it has algorithms that sense your photo and the tell your Age that you look in the photo.

Microsoft engineers Corom Thompson and Santosh Balasubramanian developed the site to test out the company's new face-detection API. [API is Application-Programming Interface is simply a set of computer instructions that allows a program to interact with a website]. When they were testing their face-detection API, they were hoping for, at most, 50 respondents to use the technology. The response was overwhelming. More than 35,000 tried it just in the first few days to see if the site could guess their age and gender.
