In the Wiccle World, there is nothing quite like a Round-Table of discussion of the future road-map as we take each update & release a step closer to the leading edge of Content Management Systems. Moving past this we will be creating a space where the name CMS will not fit in any more as both systems expand beyond scope of the latest trends, into setting new trends. So here is a sneak peek into our Wiccle World..

iWiccle is the personnel edition of Wiccle, while Wiccle is targeted for the creation of new or existing online businesses. iWiccle is Open Source, while Wiccle is commercial but you will get the full Source of Wiccle, ability to change, mod, etc as iWiccle but cannot re-release for profit or non-profit of the program / parts of the scripts. The same model is true for most Open Source Commercial scripts but we are drawing a fine line to make sure it is clear where others would not be so clear on. Example: You are a Web Design Company looking to use Wiccle for creating websites for your clients. Yes you can use Wiccle as many times as you want for your client / change the code / add mods / anything you want, and all you need to do is put in a new Licence Key for each domain. Wiccle will be bundled with a number of Licence keys, which will be announced near the release of version 1.0.

iWiccle & Wiccle are standalone platforms from each other. The powerful core of Wiccle is being used for iWiccle and as time moves on, many features found in Wiccle but not in iWiccle, will be passed into iWiccle as Wiccle gains new powerful features. We will be very careful to strike a good balance between both platforms.

iWiccle is as important to us as Wiccle is, we will be pushing iWiccle to become a leading Community Content Management System over the coming months in making it easier to use, touch screen controls in the Builder, new features including full VPS support with Media functions which we are calling iWiccle E. We will be adding hundreds of new functions both major & minor over the coming months. All of this is free, no hidden costs, very straight forward.

This should give you all the tools you will ever need for your website creation but if that was not enough, Wiccle allows the importing of 3rd party programs. If you want to use another “Forums” program, just plug it in, no need to use the Wiccle forums. We will be adding more 3rd party programs where allowed and when we can. For Web programmers, Wiccle will make it easy to plug in these programs that we have yet to support.

The New Wiccle Community Builder has arrived at version 2.0!

Packed with everything you need to build Community Websites, Social Network Websites, Dating Websites, Friendship Websites, Music Websites, Video Websites, Photo Websites, Forum Websites, Group Websites, Audio & Video Chat Websites and much more.

By arriving at the 2.0 stage and everything we packed into this version, you now can get a taste of what Wiccle is really all about. It has taken a long road with many twists and turns during this journey but now we have completed the polished stage of the current foundation design. The following updates to be released during this 2.x stage will include plenty of eye-candy add-ons, major core improvements and new features never seen before in any other system or website.

In total there is now 17 Modules in Wiccle Community Builder. The License Banner system has changed, we have removed the 15 day trial period before you need a Free License - you do not need a Free License any more for WCB to work. However you can still grab a Free License which will give you extra benefits and joining our community here at Fusion on Wiccle.com!

We want you to focus on building your website with WCB, so when you log in as Admin you will no longer see the Wiccle Ads Banner. This will give you the freedom to make sure your designs & new website looks the business before you launch it. If you want to remove the banner ads, simply buy the life-time license at only $99 Dollars and get even more benefits to boot!

The Audio Video Chat Module does require a Media Server, we will shortly release the Wiccle Media Server for download where you can host it on your own servers. You will need a VPS package from your hosting company for this media server but for members who are on shared-hosting we will be setting up a limited free Wiccle Media Server that you can use. We will also be working with our Hosting Partners to give Wiccle members the best deals on VPS servers or Hosted Media Servers in the coming weeks.

You will notice alot of small changes in Wiccle from the front end builders to Admin CP to the code base. We have now completed the final cross-over of Wiccle Web Builder modules to Wiccle Community Builder as well.

The Future of WCB 2.x

As mentioned above, we are now moving forward with future updates of WCB in the 2.x stages to bring you lots of goodies, improvements across modules + Core and give you advantages over your competitors. This is our foundation version, now we enter our development phases of taking WCB to new heights of featured packed modules, full HTML5, new template system, improved modular system, improved SEO Engine, new community modules, social media add-ons & API's, supporting Mobile Apps, supporting widgets, one click site wizards, improved builders, full touch screen controls, complete cross-platform support, improved database stuctures & supporting other databases, and plenty of add-ons! This all within the 2.x generation of WCB + more.

You all have done a wonderful job with this software. I just wanted to say thank you and keep up the great work. I also want to thank you for allowing me to join this great company, even if it is in a small way. In all the years I have been a webmaster and installed many CMS software, I must say this was the easiest and best so far, and feel as time goes on, this software will ROCK the cyber world with every new release.

WCB 2.0 Update:

We caught a few little bugs that have now been fixed since release, with it only been a few hours and only a few people affected since release, I have replaced the zip folders with new one's containing the fixes.

Please download WCB 2.0 again from the downloads page to get the latest as we are not putting a patch out for this one. However if you are very fast with building your site with the new WCB 2.0 and don't wish to download & install again, send me an email and I will package up the files changed so you can drop them into your ftp folder, otherwise its just as easy getting the lastest version and change the dates of last changed to do the same. :)

We have just updated some of the basic features of both scripts: WWB and WCB. Though these were just basic upgrades, and we're just getting a feel for the direction we want to take, we have touched on some of the major things needed to make Wiccle software more reliable and simple to use.

We didn't plan on overhauling both entire systems with this round of updates, but rather just wanted to get the software standing again, and throw a few new features at it. So that's what you'll find in the new versions of the WWB and WCB, new things added with a similar feel.

What we plan on doing next is to rework as many of the core systems as possible to make the use of Wiccle products even simpler for everyone and add alot of great tools. Also we want to put a major focus on the extentions possibilites by expanding on templating and modules/plugin system, to make everything easier to work with when customizing and developing sites.

We are very excited about the future of Wiccle software and want to encourage you to get involved by experimenting with the products and leaving feedback/suggestions to help us improve the systems.

Thank you for your reply, I am using Wccle Community Builder.
I was testing it last night after installation with the maintenance mode turned on meaning site close, and before to go to bed I clicked on logout from the admin cp, now I cannot access to it anymore.

I found it, how to turn the site back on from the bd.

Hey, unfortunately this was setup during the installation and needs to be changed in the database.

If you know how to this, then look in the 'w_layouts' table for an entry with "Wiccle Home" as the "lay_name" value and change it to whatever you like.

Wiccle Hosting Services started using the wiccle platform approximately 1.5 years ago. Many things have changed since the time we started using the platform. The lead developer Markus departed, and there was a hunt for a qualified Developer.

Well we all know that any developer worth a grain of salt, is busy, and not really looking to jump onboard with somebody's dream. The issue is time consumption. The amount of time one would need to learn a platform that was already started and semi-functional, increases greatly when the predecessor is no longer available for tutelage or guidance.

Wiccle Limited was extremely lucky in finding what i believe to be one of the greatest freelancers available. The late great Darren Powless (Mr. P we miss you brother), was set to take the helm of the wiccle direction, and his untimely demise, changed things from that perspective.

Then JT was interviewed, of course JT is again, one of the greats in his field, and the budget was just not there to bring him on board. So here we are some 8 months into the development, and things have shaped up, and we are moving along.

Social networking, and social media is here to stay, and if you are not onboard, you are left behind.
