Sculpture by the Sea

A chance to soak up summer and some culture at the same time.

Sculpture by the Sea is back once again at Cottesloe and this year you can see, amongst others, a deep sea angler fish, "Nautilus" which is a 14 metre sculptural version of Captain Nemo’s submarine from the novel 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and a giant Number 8 pool ball floating in the sea.

The sculptures are free to view and are at Cottesloe Beach until 18 March 2007.

Yunyu

Yunyu is an independent singer-songwriter and keyboardist, who was Perth's Triple J Unearthed winner back in 2003.

She is now based in Sydney but will be playing one special show in Perth on Thursday 5 April 2007 at Mojo's Bar in Fremantle.

The UWA Perth International Arts Festival is running from 9 Feb 2007 to 4 Mar 2007 with events scattered throughout Perth.

A must visit of the festival is the Beck's Verandah down at the concert. It's got a great atmosphere, awesome view and great artists. Best of all - it's free from 10.30pm onwards...Check out the line-up.
