Come listen to top political reporters and political professionals in a series of talks at the Memorial Union, on Thursday night and Friday. Topics include the Iowa caucuses, working in political journalism, working in politics, and new media strategies. Journalists (several of them ISU grads) who work in politics or for news organizations such as The Des Moines Register, The New York Times, NBC News, the Huffington Post, and the Associated Press will participate.]]></description>

Several former and current Star reporters and editors were on hand, as well as grads from the '70s, '80s, '90s, and '00s, and alumni involved in broadcast, marketing, public relations and other fields. The special guest was former KC Star and ISU professor Giles Fowler, who spoke about his recently published book on a 1909 Kansas City murder case.]]></description>
