This just might be one of the coolest designer collaborations yet! Lanvin has partnered up with H&M to come up with a line of clothing for both men and women. Lanvin’s artistic director, Albert Elbaz, released a statement saying, “H&M approached us to collaborate, and see if we could translate the dream we created at Lanvin to a wider audience, not just a dress for less. I have said in the past that I would never do a mass-market collection, but what intrigued me was the idea of H&M going luxury rather than Lanvin going public. This has been an exceptional exercise, where two companies at opposite poles can work together because we share the same philosophy of bringing joy and beauty to men and women around the world.”

Lanvin joins Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Comme des Garçons and Sonia Rykiel in H&M’s list of designer collaborations. Are you excited? We’ll get a glimpse of the collection and all the details on November 2, and the entire collection will be out by November 23rd in around 200 H&M stores worldwide. Natalie Portman looked absolutely divine at the opening ceremony of the 2010 Venice Film Festival. The actress was there for the premiere of her movie, Black Swan, and she arrived in an alluring red Rodarte gown. It had a wispy front slip, and an unusual neckline that made it very unique. She went for unexpected accessories as well. Her white, quilted Dior clutch and white strappy heels elevated the outfit to a whole other level. Rodarte did the costumes for Black Swan, and Dior has tapped her to be the new face of the brand, which would explain Natalie’s outfit choices. They were good choices – this is one memorable look.

The little black dress is always sexy, but it doesn’t always have to be formal or dressy. Take Blake Lively’s casual outfit for example, when she was recently spotted walking onto the set of Gossip Girl in New York. She wore a black Hoss Intropia silk dress with black Lanvin flats, a black Chanel chain bag, and a black cuff watch. The floral design on the front of the dress really took the seriousness off the dark ensemble. It came off as highly polished, but laidback. Black can look too uptight, but this outfit is just fabulously casual.

Jessica Alba is on a roll! Our Girl Crush of the Moment has been racking up the style points lately, both on the red carpet and off of it. Now she has turned up at The David Letterman Show in a sleek black outfit. The actress wore a black fitted blazer over a tight black tank top and black slacks. A long silver necklace was her only accessory, and she finished the outfit off with a pair of very chic, triple-strapped, white Louboutins. It’s an ensemble that starts off very simple, but ends with a bang.

Well, let’s just relish the break from rockstar Taylor Momsen, shall we? Taylor the actress playing a troubled teenager is a refreshing change from all the attitude her rockstar alter ego has been exuding lately.

In this picture, Taylor as Jenny is wearing a smashing, blue Emilio Pucci velvet mini dress with a black chain bag. It’s a classy outfit made edgy by black stockings and Doc Martens boots. Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have signed divorce documents and all, but the reality TV couple is still making people wonder about the status of their relationship. The two were recently spotted together in Costa Rica – a long way from the Malibu home bases. They explained that Spencer was there to exchange dogs with Heidi, as they now have joint custody of the four puppies they adopted while they were married. The question on everyone’s mind is – why were they exchanging dogs in Costa Rica? Couldn’t they have done it in Malibu, where their home bases are? One thing’s for sure – we haven’t see the last of Speidi yet.
