How to: Ombre lips

Hello Ladies its been a long time since I blogged about anything, so I decided as a come-back post I would do an easy tutorial on how to achieve ombre lips...so lets get started...

First start with moisturized lips

I use my own homemade lip scrub to exfoliate my lips at least once a week.

Then I apply lip balm [here I am using Maybelline baby lips], then choose a lipliner about 2-3 shades darker than the lipstick you want to apply.

Now thickly line your lips leaving the middle portion free of product, now take your lipstick [here I am using wetnwild’s 901B Think Pink lipstick]

And apply it to the middle portion of the lips, then take your lipliner and re-line your lips to blend the edges, to blend it even more take your finger and blend the edges where the lipliner and lipstick connect.

To add more shine apply a clear lipgloss or a lipgloss the same shade as your lipstick

I just bought this nail polish a couple of hrs ago and already love it, the color is so beautiful....

I picked this up at walmart for $1.72

I reccomend it 100% to everyone, its super pigmented, a cream finish and I only needed two coats!

Have you tried this nail polish LMK!

So I did these nails a few weeks ago and I thought it came out pretty good but I never got around to posting it. But today I found out that I left my OPI shatter nailpolish slightly opened and it DRIED UP :(

So this post is in memory of my shatter...now I will def need to go and re-purchase it.

Hello ladies!!!

So this past weekend I went to Big Lots because I hadn't gone in a while and I picked up 4 lipsticks, [the other one not pictured is a backup Revlon l/s called Pink in the Afternoon] anyways I was so excited to see these neutrogena l/s for $2!!!

the colors I found are really gorgeous

I got Tickled Pink, Peach-a-boo, & Angel's Blush..

in other words a hot pink, a coral, and a baby pink.

Hello ladies!!

So today I have a very exciting purchase, a few days ago I purchased these new maybelline lip balms called "Baby Lips"

Quenched, Grape Vine, Pink Punch, Peach Kiss

all of them except the one in Quenched give off very good pigmentation, I've already tried all the ones I bought and luv them all, my fave so far is Pink Punch!

Here are some swatches, I really hope everyone tries these, I highly recommend them, they are definitely worth the purchase, they run from about $3-4 [depending on where you buy them]...and if the price doesn't reel you in, the super super cute packaging will!

Hi ladies so I know it's been a long time since I posted up a haul...and I totally have not had the time to edit these pics, so I finally did and here it is...

A few months ago Apothica.com approached me with a sponsorship, so I looked at their website and it looked pretty cool, so i decided to say yes, so as a sponsorship gift I got a gift card.

I got these from Apothica.com

This is what I was so excited about, this too faced bronzer, the color is amazing, of course I really wasn't expecting the amazong chocolate smell.

I was ding to try this palette, the shadows are amazing...they're super blendable and pigmented.

this palette I guess was the less impressive of the 3 items I got, it's allright.

however I do love the super cute packaging.

Hi ladies here are some things I recently picked up...

So I recently re-discovered my luv for my Sally Hansen insta-dri n/p in "Lively Lilac" and was so super impressed by its quality that I had to go and buy some more of these, they are super pigmented, you basically only need one swipe and they really do dry extra quick.

I got shades that I don't have in my collection.

The colors I got are in "Blue-Away" & "Jade Jump"

I got two face masks from the Que Bella line

I got a "Chocolate mask" & a "Dead-sea" mask.

I purchased 3 new lipsticks.

Two from the maybelline Color sensational line

and one from the regular elf line
