Last Saturday my wife went to pasar klewer and bought a dozen of batik dress.
Now all the batik dress she bought is already sold out. In just two days all batik dress sold out. It means demand of batik dress is very high.
Then I remember my sister in Jakarta. Last Augusts she asked us to send them a package of batik. I take several photo of batik dress then send it by email to my sister. Almost all of batik dress in the photo sold out. We do this method several times. But right now my sister is in Thailand for duty from her office.

Several weeks ago I just meet my old friends. They were my friends when I still an employee in an export furniture company. I just little surprised that several of them now have they own export furniture company. I curious how to become an exporter, because there were not only one but several of them now are an exporter. They don’t have website they don’t have a blog but they are an exporter. The only weapon is an email which they use to connect them with their buyer.

The conclusion become an exporter is very easy. Most important is having a buyer.
How to have a buyer? My friends told their buyer is people they know who living outside Indonesia. Anyone who lives outside Indonesia can become an importer. One of my friends said their buyer is their brothers who living outside Indonesia. They other said their buyer is tourist they meet accidentally when accompanying their BOS in a trade show.

This made me very jealous because I just try to find an importer with website for a year nobody buys from me. Only having friend outside Indonesia they become an exporters.
My friends said that a chair in Indonesia you can buy from maker in $5-7 Importer can sell it twice from that to user.

So congratulations for you who having friends outside Indonesia, you have chance to become an exporters.

In “pasar klewer” not only batik you can find here but many items of textile product. From low quality until high quality you can meet here. I’ll share little information about shopping in “pasar klewer”.
In “pasar klewer” every prices which seller offer you can offered the price again. Its mean that every price which seller offers in “klewer market” is not fixed price. Example if you found batik dress price $5, offer it 50% from the price. If they don’t give it raises up your offer step by step each step $0, 5 until 30% from first price. If still no deals leave like not interesting again with the item, go walking around for several minute then go back again to the seller. In my experience it’s always a deal before you go to find in another placed.

Right now Batik is already a trend mode. Yesterday when I went to PGS (Pusat Grosir Solo) I watch that right now batik became most wanted. Every store which sells batik looks very busy with customer.

Right now batik workers and employers are use batik as their uniform at them office. Every government officials when appear in television programs also using batik. This day my brother went to his office also using batik. At my wife office every Friday batik is using to them uniform.

I wish that batik not only become a trend mode but also become an Indonesian characteristic.

Last Saturday when come home from my workplace suddenly my motorbike tire was shrunk.When still find tire workshop to stop the tire shrunk suddenly few of young people near of there give me direction where nearest tire workshop.I'm little surprise because I don't ask them,They volunteer to show me the direction of the nearest tire workshop.

Actually I really want to show many of javanese culture in my website (www.businesssolo.com

Right now in Solo Indonesia every place which have name board put on Javanese alphabet on it.For example name board of solo city hall right now there are 2 alphabet on it latin and javanese.

The javanese alphabet put on name board is for support tourism program from Solo local Government.

As a citizen of solo I'm very happy with this program because this program I think can made tourist interest to visit Solo Indonesia.

But I think this program can't work on maximal if there is no promotion.I just try to search in google about phrase "solo indonesia"and"surakarta Indonesia" that are only 905.000 for solo Indonesia and 314.000 for surakarta. Compare with phrase yogyakarta indonesia there are 5.960.000 or kudus Indonesia 1.650.000.

In my opinion right now internet are the most efective way to promotion.Because many people in many country find information from internet.If in the internet is still not enough about promotion. I think tourism program to made tourist to visit solo are still not in maxmimal.
