Is the GOP becoming New Coke?

With the Obama’s reelection and no gains in the senate it seems that the GOP has decided to go New Coke, to become democrat light, but as history has shown when given a choice people will prefer to choose between two different options generally not two similar ones. Chinese or pizza not Pizza Hut or Papa Johns. Many elite GOPers see the losses of 2012 due to candidates who didn’t have the sense to keep (possibly) honest opinions to themselves, despite the fact they should have known that some so-called “moderates” and independents would react negatively to those opinions. Now I’m not saying they should have lied just gone with simple answers stating they were pro-life and that, that child did nothing to deserve a death penalty, no honest independent would have voted against them if they had said something like that now back to my point. Many elites in the GOP now want to restrict the people from making choices, acting like the democrats in infantalizing people, stopping conservative and Tea Party candidates from running against the establishment choice.

You see the mistake Coke made was that the tests Pepsi used in their ads and research were biased towards Pepsi when coke fell for this they made the mistake that the GOP is now making only now with more far reaching consequences. But Coke quickly learned their flagship product and name sake being “like” their competition didn’t work as they had hoped for. Public reaction to new Coke quickly soured, ironically lead by a minority of people, soon that opinion steam rolled to a point where Coke was forced to return to the real thing and their roots. The GOP will quickly learn that same lesson as their new coke candidates lose and the classic candidates win. For now I believe that conservatives need to think about what they are going to say as your not just running against a democrat but their own version of peovda that will run you into the ground just for the heck of it. We will also need to work together better with less infighting, leave that to the democrats, disagreements are fine but leave the full-fledged fights to the ring.

One last thing for you Tea Party candidates rehearse everything you believe in, you do not need to lie but simplify any opinion that the MSM could below out of proportion to one that most “moderates” and independents wouldn’t hold against you. Know your enemies winning a battle and war is about the plan & preparation as much as the equipment. Memorize every “controversial” conservative social belief according to the MSM and ready yourself for battle.

By the way after Coke Classic was returned to the market New Coke quickly died out, it was then returned to the market in 1990 in small test scale as Coke II and fully in 1992, but soon Coke II withered and was then found only in a few markets where it was popular until its production was ended in August 16 2002. Proving that often a bad idea that is tried and failed should be left in the graveyard of bad ideas.

P.S. I would note it is possible that the GOP is dead with the choices they make, but if they do return later to the “classic” formula (A.K.A. triditional values) they could be repaired and healed to a proper state that people would believe in, preferably keeping an eye on them as well, allowing the Republican Party to pull a Lazarus. But that is yet to be seen if that will happen.

    With the senseless murder of twenty children people who mean well and those who don’t now move to limit the God given rights of self defense. The truth here can not be ignored while a great tragedy this move against the rights of the people is the wrong one. Many who now think because twenty children were murdered in cold blood it means that the problem is a thing made of plastic and metal, but they fail to realized that thing made of plastic and metal have saved more lives then murdered senselessly. The fact is an inanimate object has the same power in the hands of a good man as a bad. We should not let the actions of the bad man that are horrible allow us to strike down our rights, think of it what if some Neo-Nazi got a crowd of sympathetic thugs to commit a horrible unspeakable crime and these same people demanding the limitation of your gun rights started say it was time to reign in free speech as the people no longer need it as it
causes to much damage.

    With freedom comes responsibilities and with those responsibilities there are consequences if you drop the ball. For years now many have left the education of their kid’s knowledge of guns come from Hollywood and games like grand theft auto which glorifies the violence of being a criminal. For years parents have bought their kids what ever they wanted not even caring what the game was about. Not even thinking of the disturbing nature that some games and films can contain in them, that they themselves would never watch. Worse still some will completely ignore warning signs that something is wrong with their child. Now don’t get me wrong I hold the person responsible for their actions, which is one of the things being left out of
this conversation on a whole.

    And as someone who played Doom and a few other games with violence blaming another inanimate object this time made up of bets and bits instead of plastic and metal is just as bad. I’m also going to tell you straight out the problem lies with the parents not those who made some film or game, after all the parents are the gate keepers to their children. If anyone should be held responsible for horrible actions Those who prefer to be the best friend then the parent should be the ones held responsible when the children they allowed to get away with anything commit wrong.

    Lastly for those who still believe the problem is the inanimate object made of plastic and metal. As a aspiring writer I offer you this alternate universe version of what could have happened;

On Friday Adam Lanza drove his mother’s car, which he had packed with explosives made from common household chemicals, into Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn. taking his own life and killing twenty children and six adults.

Or how about this one;

On Friday Adam Lanza drove his mother’s car to Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn. using handmade smoke grenades packed with common household chemicals that became a deadly lethal gas when broken managed to kill twenty children and six adults and take his own life in the precess.

    Now tell me if we lived in those universes should we ban the car or the household chemicals or both? The truth is disturbed people, mentally ill people, and evil people will always take actions we can not understand, like, and desire to stop from happening again. But you need to ask yourself this question, “If there is a Devil, would he prefer the people be vulnerable to the criminals who commit violence or be armed against them and capable to defend themselves?“ It should also be noted that criminals still break the very laws that say they can’t own or posses a firearm just as drug users and dealers break the very laws that say they can’t posses crystal meth, heroin, cocaine, PCP, or LSD. Again a question should be asked here “If there is a being that personifies evil would it advocate the following of laws or the break of those laws, and if it advocate's the breaking of laws those who fallows that impulse would they be a danger to those who follow the law?”

Freedom Vs Free Stuff

So with a little less then twelve hours till We the People go to the polls this election shall be about more then just between the D or the R its about Freedom vs Free Stuff, about whether we will choose to be independent and rely on ourselves and the our neighbor or turn to nanny government when we get a booboo.
Whether we will chose God given freedom or demonic enslavement to our desire to be taken care of.
Obama has taken us down the road to serfdom, expanding government to dangerous levels, as the hurricane Sandy has shown progressive big government doesn't really care what happens to its serfs, the fact that the NYC Marathon wasn't canceled until there was a major public outcry against it and even then Bloomberg "The Nanny" complained about having to cancel it. If Obama should win reelection expect him to act more like a king, if fact he may even now that he won't have to face the public as he is now may fully show his true color, Red the anti-colonialist color as well as embrace The Project of the muslim brotherhood.

You have the power to decide your and your children's and grand-children's future, whether they will be free or have free stuff, and the government big enough to give it can take it away and you have no say in it.

Is A War Coming Between China and Japan?

If you have watched the news lately you might have seen that China is making a big deal of a bunch of little rocky islands, the Senkaku Islands, which has been contested by the two countries for more then a few years, but now it seems as if things are heating up. And if I was China I'd reconsider the direction they might be taking.

First let me boil down the issue, China starting to have a slow down and can't build as many ghost towns as it was needs an outlet for the peoples anger so it uses the still burning anger over Japan's invasion during WWII. In protests, which China clearly gave the seal of approval for, the mobs attack Japanese businesses doing quite a bit of damage. Now China is sending ships to the Senkaku Islands to "claim" them.

And before I get to my point here are some news items that you might not have seen since this really isn't on the top of the news at least for most drive-by media outlets (after all Mitt Romney did "attack" 47% of America, they can't be bothered by little things like war), Furious China protests mix old anger over Japanese occupation with modern dispute over islands, Concerns mount as Japan, China island dispute shows no sign of easing, and ‘Down With the U.S. Imperialists!’: Protestors Attack U.S. Ambassador in Beijing.

So now here is why China might not want an actual war to brake out. Japan wouldn't be the only one with a stake in such a war, you have two other countries that would have a major reason to join Japan's side with big benefits from the communists in charge being beaten. First is Taiwan and its government known as the Republic of China, formed by the nationalists after the Mao's takeover of mainland China would have a major gain from the collapse of the communists and a really good reason to join with Japan if war occurred. They also have a really good reason not to have communist China have any possible staging point right next door.

The second would be South Korea as North Korea is almost completely supported by the communists of China.

And then there is a third nation that would have a stake in this hypothetical war, the US, assuming that Obama losses the election, a president Mitt Romney would more then willing to back this group as well as provide aid and even supplies, even arms possibly. I will not go into the possible strategies here that could be used. There are additional advantages to the US as well as a few other countries, as a new nationalist government wouldn't support many, if any, of the states the communists do now.

This would put China into a real tough spot, adding to that is the fact that China has its own aging population problem but not for the same reason as us, as they have had the one child policy since 1980 aborting for the last thirty years a large future population. While China could gain in a war by putting the people to work, it should be noted that the last war they had with Japan required aid from the US and while China has grown in the last sixty years, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, and the US has the technological advantage at the moment.

Also any threat China would make on the monetary front would be moot if a President Romney believed that they would lose the war.

I'm sure of one more thing that someone high up in the military of China has already told the communist leadership of the what would happen if things should go badly for them. Which also makes me believe nothing will happen of this except for state propaganda to keep the people from coming after them as the consequences of a loss would be too risky.

I haven't posted anything for a while because I've been reading and watching a lot of stuff on this attack on 9/11 as well as thinking of it an now there is someone who might have come up with the answer on why the Ambassador was in Libya, Glenn Beck, Watch the video from the Blaze, The Glenn Beck Program, You need to watch this, must watch this.

Now, whether or not this is what happened, I do not know, but this administration, this regime has a habit of doing dangerous things against our & US's interests. At this point I know this is the most corrupt administration in US history. I have called Obama our Nero and Caligula but the truth is he is against America, against us, this man is no different then Benedict Arnold, the biggest difference is between Obama and Arnold is you can argue the Revolutionary war was a civil war and Arnold simply choose to side with other side of the civil war in the middle of it. Obama is clearly siding with foreign powers, foreign enemies to the American culture and nation. That makes him a true traitor. And truly dangerous.

My biggest fear now is Romney is going to keep playing from the failed John McCain playbook with this election.You can not play it safe when the very future of this nation is in the hands of a man who would destroy it.

The Islamic War on the West

I think we all have been doing some thinking after the new attacks on 9/11/12 and running up to today, we will she what happens with Friday and the weekend, I believe the truth is what I stated Tuesday in my 9/11 post, Here. We in the west (and anyone else who has a different system from Islam) are dealing with a fourteen hundred year old problem, we all will not win this battle or war by being soft.

Now this morning Glenn Beck made a point based on Mormons, what if Mormons did what the islamists do, specifically on the Book of Mormon production on Broadway. The rush in and kill everyone, do you think for one minute this worthless media would accept the same argument made by these islamists. One word; No. No one with the intelligence God gave a ~~jackass~~ billy-goat would accept that. Dr Keith Ablow has the ultimate point you can not argue rationally with these people.

Lastly this whole thing being over a fourteen minute clip on youtube that has been out since July is BS. This whole thing in my gut says it was and is planned. Will we be able to change coarse? We will know in November.

Personal Related Update

I have personally been through a lot in my life, which I will not go over here again, I have more lab tests as of today and for the time being things look good but I will have to be on a blood-thinner at least until next June and it's not going to be cheap for me. I also have to pay for this and a few other bills due to all my medical costs from my hospital stay and I would like to ask again for help. Health & Situation Update 9/12/12

I feel its time not for an update but rather a rant, since I got out of the hospital June 4th I have tried and tried to get help, support, and some level of human kindness from others. I can not even get that from my mother who when I was afraid to go to school due to bulling slapped me in the face and said quote “You are ruining my life!” I have had more problems then I like to admit physical and mental, and when I finally reach out for help I get sorry can’t help you. I try for years to stand on my own feet, payed the stupid government taxes and when I need the help I’m not eligible. Then private individuals ignore my pleas for help. Except one person who gave me $25, just one person in three months I can not truly express my gratitude to that person.

At this point if something doesn’t change for the better I expect things to quickly go downhill for me.

9/11 Eleven Years Later

Eleven years later after the Islamic version of Pearl Harbor, an act far worse then that day of infamy on 12/7/41, where are we today? Unfortunately it is starting to look like September tenth all over again. While we have had two wars (three if you include Libya) and Saddam Hussein, Muammar Gaddafi, and Osama Bin Laden are dead and al-Qaeda is believed to be weakened it is very clear that the real problem Islamic fascism is still strong as it was eleven years ago, perhaps even stronger. And in truth Saddam Hussein and Muammar Gaddafi were not Islamists, oh they might have used the language when needed but they were as Islamic as Hitler was Christian.

And despite What Ron Paul and his followers would have us believe the problem IS Islamic fascism, It has been since the fall of the western Roman empire. In 732AD, 256 years after the collapse of western Rome the Islamic conquers had swept through Spain and started their conquest of France until Charles Martel, also known as Charles the Hammer, grandfather of one of Europe’s great kings Charlemagne, shocked the Caliph at the time with the catastrophic defeat of his army. If it hadn’t been for Charles the Hammer Europe may have gone Islamic, though the progressive historians claim that isn’t true, as they seem to say of everything that is good of the past.

Now lets move forward in time to the fall of the eastern Roman Empire in 1453AD to the Ottoman Empire, now lets fast forward a few years to 1460 when Vlad III Dracula (yes that Dracula) stood up to the Ottoman Empire and their plans for expansion into Europe. Which brings me back to a few weeks a go with the RNC acceptance speech of Mitt Romney where he failed to mention war especially in this time of Islamic fascism. See it Here. In the last fourteen hundred years Islam has had its eyes on conquering not just the west but the world. Many criticize the Spanish for the Conquistadors actions (and with the exception of their actions against the Aztecs they probably are) they avoid criticizing any of the horrendous actions by Islam.

Now back to Ron Paul and his antisemitic followers, Iran is not the Soviet Union, Iran is a theocracy that believes their messiah, the Mahdi, will return when the streets run with blood. What sane individual thinks that is like the atheistic (or closeted Christians) of the Soviet Union. Assuming the leadership was mainly atheistic they had no reason to nuke the world. Sadly some of our less sane conspiracy believing fellow citizens would allow the worst until they in desperation would turn to the Vlad Draculas to fight back once the new Caliphate starts imposing their sharia laws upon all.

Unless we wish to end up as a repressed and persecuted minority me must stand together against this new age of fascism, one that has been with us for 1400 years, and our forefathers understood this. But our new progressive geniuses have tried to down play this threat and even ally themselves with this threat as Obama sides with the Muslim Brotherhood which is persecuting the Christians and Jews of Egypt. I wish to share a Preview of my article for The Guardian of Worlds Of Villains and Enemies that you might find interesting.
Lastly before I get to what they are creating enemies, I wish to kill a very stupid idea and quote, “One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter.” The mistake often made by this quote is to assume that the world is only of greys not of good and evil. Killing civilians is NOT what a true freedom fighter would do. Guerilla tactics against an invading or occupying army is one thing, but blowing up a nightclub full of civilians is terrorism, attacking an invading armies supply depot is legitimate, attacking a crowded mall is terrorism, attacking an occupying army’s camp at night is legitimate, and on & on I can go. The problem in the end of this “magical thinking” is you start justifying horrible actions with a false mask. And with that mask you could
end up justifying something as horrible like the Holocaust.

Democrats Reinstates Jerusalem and God back into DNC Platform, But. . .

Sometimes when you make a mistake its better to do nothing at all, that is what the DNC has just found out today, as the democrats have learned the hard way. After reinstating the language it was met with overwhelming boos by their convention goers, not a good sign if you want to win the Jewish and Christian vote. See the story here.

They would have been better of just calling it a mistake and trying to move on but instead they opened the can of worms to the benefit of Romney and the GOP. Lastly listening to the vote they didn't have the 2/3rds needed just showing they really don't care about the rules only what they want.

The Trouble with Mandatory Minimums

A couple of weeks a go Bill O'Reilly did his usual desk pounding this time for Mandatory Minimum sentences. See here. As usual O'Reilly only goes skin deep on the subject without really looking at why judges are giving such low sentences to criminals. Now other then the fact it's Bill O'Reilly who's head is so hard you could hit it with an asteroid a mile wide and it would survive, the real problem is the people who elect progressive judges or progressive politicians how then appointee those judges.

You see the real problem is when people just vote for candidate AAA or for some random guy on the ballot, which often benefits the liberal progressive politicians and judges. That problem is compounded when people like O'Reilly compound the problem with Mandatory Minimums and while it can be a good thing when used against pedophiles and rapists when you start getting in to other areas where there would be a need for common sense to rule you remove it. And even then it is no guarantee that O'Reilly's precious Mandatory Minimums would survive if the Supreme Court's Chief Dread Pirate Coward Justice Roberts joined with the progressive judges on an extreme case and declare them unconstitutional under the cruel and unusual clause.
Then all those criminals you thought were off the streets are suddenly all out at one time.

The only real long term solution is to vote in conservative and constitutionalists in to those seats who will judge cases appropriately. That does not mean it will be fixed everywhere but we will not be handing our power to people who have messed things up for the last century.

Fifty Chicago Cops Sent to the DNC Convention; Quicky News Post

With Chicago's crime wave you would think they would want as many cops on the streets as possible. Apparently the crime problem must have been solved as they are sending fifty Chicago cops to the DNC convention. See Here.

In that case we should not hear about any more crime wave in Chicago now should we ;) And on that note I guess they since there crime problem is over they don't need any more federal funding for their police force.

Of course what else would one expect a progressive liberal city that thinks honest law abiding citizens who are armed would equal a post world war three shooting gallery.

Something Different: Thoughts on Hauntings: Updated New Thoughts

I want to go somewhere different and away from politics for a while, and talk about hauntings, specifically on why people don't go to a priest when they have a haunting.

So every now and then I watch an episode of Unsolved Mysteries, and I've seen a few episodes with homes/neighborhoods built on an old graveyard and is haunted. Now lets avoid the question whether its possible for a human spirit to haunt a place or the worst its demonic, and go straight to mine why is it these people don't go to a priest. Assuming its real, no honest priest would hesitate to try and put a human spirit to rest especially if they were causing trouble to the living.

For me it seems a logical thing to do (please, atheists no stupid comments on word usage) if such a thing was happening. Think of it as if you had a pest problem you keep seeing those pests and they even start to bother you, cause you problems, why wouldn't you get some help?

I boggles my mind why people in those situations just keep letting weird things keep happening. Especially if its scaring you to death.

Ok, so after I posted this while killing time Friday night watching a show I get the obvious answer I was looking for. The reason people who might be dealing with a haunting probably don’t go to a priest is they are afraid of the reaction one would get from an atheist, you are crazy. Of course one can kind of understand that many people want to believe in God & Heaven but don’t want to believe in the Devil & Hell (and to that extension demons) and considering that, that haunting could be a worst case scenario demonic I still really get the hesitation.

Personally I’d be calling priests to find one willing to do something, considering some of the weird _____ reported to go on at some places that are possibly haunted, I don’t link I would be afraid of the issue of the liberal priests reactions. After all there are far more priests with true faith who would willingly do this believing in the supernatural.

And if your priest looks at you like you’re crazy may be he doesn’t really believe in what he preaches, such as many of the liberal priests seem too. I want to bring something else up too because in the last month I’ve watched a few paranormal investigation shows (ones that I think are worth my time) to use as a launching board for ideas for a new story world and lines I’m working on and I really think at this point demons don’t want to hide themselves, while they might find atheists entertaining, the fact they like to reach out and scratch people (specifically three scratches, Bing it you’ll get it) means they want much more than just a of bunch atheists running around.

To finish this off in my writers way, “Yes, Virginia there are evil forces, forces some would like deny as myth and superstition, but I believe they actually don’t like that. Why else would they act out? From scratches to strange apparitions many described as monestrous. They want us to fear them and in that to possibly turn away from God and to them, thinking of them as nature spirits, deities, or something else as the short sighted reactions of humans in the past has proven. In the end we must endure against all enemies whether physical or spiritual in our faith, for it is in faith we find strength, and hope.”

Christianity Isn't Losing a Generation Updated: New Links!

I belong to a writing site, Writing.com, and receive several newsletters from the site, one (for spiritual) decided to go after the age old attack of no religion in politics specifically on gay marriage and included a link to this blog post, How to win a culture war and lose a generation, unfortunately the newsletter writer and the blogger Rachel Held Adams don't really realize they are on the wrong side of faith and history.

The reason I say what I do is because it's the liberal progressive churches which are failing faster then Solyndra after an Obama Bailout, losing members at a startling rate for proof see this article from the Blaze, ‘Cross-Dressing Clergy’: These Are the Reasons the Episcopal Church Could Be Near Collapse, there are a few more but that make all the points in one article. But you can also look for the Book; Exodus Why Americans Are Fleeing Liberal Churches for Conservative Christianity, for even more on the subject.

Now to the point of her post, losing a generation, this generation (those under forty, which am in) isn't being lost, for those who believe its antigay not to allow gay marriage that is unfortunate, but many of that generation fail to understand the Truth, And I go to Genesis 19:4-5 for proof, 4. But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter: 5. And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them. And in Genesis 19:8. Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof. Why offer his daughters who "have not known man" if it wasn't about sex and in this case gay sex.

Too many wish to cast a propagandist net over Christianity as hateful and bigoted, yet it's the Christians who are threatened and their churches vandalized over the issue few Christians wish to do to gays what islamists do to gays ever day in the middle east. To deny that God created Man and Woman to be one it unfortunate, and what makes it even more unfortunate is these people claim we are misinterpreting God's intent but gods intent is clearly spelled out in His book the Bible.

And to all those fighting so hard for it a word of caution, once you open Pandora's box you can't stuff all those unintended consequences back into the box. Once those who want multi-marriage, marriage with animals, places, and things win their cases in courts by progressive judgements you'll understand what you have created.

Lastly on many of the born that way arguments used to fight for these things, what do you do when a progressive judge gives "rights" to a pedophile? After all if one's born that way how can you discriminate against them? That also covers serial killers, psychopaths, and rapists. I know it's a bit much but once you start an avalanche it does not stop until it decides to, and unintended consequences seem to be a hallmark of the progressive movement, especially when you throw out morality as old fashioned black and white thinking that is outdated, but in the last hundred years has throwing out that morality lead to better things. Schools are doing horribly, we're in 16 trillion dollars of debt, and the popular culture is about as clean as a public restroom toilet.

If you want the government out of peoples lives and marriage that would be one thing, but you wish to use the police powers of government to shut us down if you had your way, especially if one of those churches refused a gay wedding.

After more then a year of no posts its time to get back into things, with so many things happening it was hard to do what I would have liked to do, but now is the time to get back in to the political area in blogging. So with that out of the way its to the point of this post.

A liberal study by Fairleigh Dickinson University has been released that states that media sources have an impact on the number of questions that people were able to answer correctly, with Fox News viewers doing poorly answering correctly only 1.04 "domestic" questions correctly vs a NPR listener they would be expected to answer 1.51 "both groups" of questions correctly. You can find a link to the study in a PDF format here. Read or scan it to see the big question they forgot to ask.

So I now call BS and shenanigans on this story, they ask “Americans now have more ways than ever before to get their news about politics and world affairs. I’m going to read you a list of news sources. As I read the list, just say “yes” if you got news from that source any time in the past week.” but don’t ask the logical follow up question of how many hours of said source did you watch. Every payed or rewards survey I have ever done (well over a hundred with at least 1/3 on what you watched on television) have asked that very follow up question. It does you no good to ask over a thousand participants of a survey if they have watched the news any time during the week and then jump right to the questions on current events with out knowing if they have watched one, five, twenty, or more hours of news during that week.

What if the democrats watched forty hours of msnbc while the republicans only watched five hours of Fox News that week. That would be like putting a five hundred pound man up against an Olympic athlete in a race and then locking two five hundred pound ball & chains to the Olympic athlete's legs and calling it a fair race, its not. But we can't answer that question since they "forgot" to ask it. Also considering if they had bothered to survey the occupied nuts while they were protesting would have failed it like a North Korean Missile. And lastly considering how many conservatives like me consider time equals money I suspect that they probably called more conservatives who refused to do their stupid survey.

To me it just goes to show a private company can do something better, even in asking questions.

An Essay: Never Lie Too Me

first the (mostly) negative review, a little note the origional review was made privet by senders choice so their identity shall not revealed (unless they wish to come out by their own choice.) Also I have not changed any of their writings below;

While the writing itself was of good quality, I was very disappointed with the story itself, which was extremely unbelievable, and read like a fairytale for small children, where we have an inexperienced 16 year old boy somehow killing an enormous magical, fire breathing dragon, not to mention various other monsters. It seemed to actually insult the mainstream fantasy genre, in which drgons are extremely formidable, and NOT something a boy can kill the first time he picks up a sword. This is exactly the kind of "dragonslayer cliche" that was satired in the film "Shrek"
where instead of being slain by a hero like in nonsensical bedtime stories, the dragon defeats countless numbers of trained knights...... because as most any adult would know, this would be the logical outcome of such a one-sided battle, which is comparable to the absurdity of a mouse trying to kill a cat. It was hard to discern if this was intended to be a serious fantasy or an attempt at a comedic satire. The dragon's stereotypical villainous "mwa ha ha" laugh certainly made me
think the latter until I continued reading.

I had the impression that you have no understanding of real human and animal capabilities, or how toactually fight with swords, for if you had, you would have known a boy with no battle experience would not be able to fight such a creature, which, with the greater reach, fiery breath and sweeping tail would have every advantage.. Claiming this story was for and audience of "13 plus" seemed a contradiction, for few people over the age of ten would take the noton seriously
of a boy killing a giant magical dragon.

While a spelling check was used, there a a number of words which are not correct for the sentences. For example, "clime" instead of "climb", disparate, instead of desperate, etc.. There are also sentences that do not make sense that seem to have words left out of them.

The story seems to have a Judao Christian religious slant, with several Biblical placenames being used, and the boys' calling on "God" to help him avenge his family. But the boy's obsession for revenge is contradictory with the Christian doctrine of forgiving your enemies. Also the boy practices magic, which the Bible also denounces. I wonder if the author is also aware that the God of the Bible is described breathing fire from his mouth, smoke from his nostrils, has great
wings and claws, hoards gold, demands lambs and calves, and is given 32 virgins in the Book of Numbers. He seems to be as much a dragon as the one in your story!

Apparently dragonslayers in this story are referred to as "Dragoons". While this may be a term used in anime and video games, in the English dictionary, this is merely a term for a type of cavalryman also trained to fight on foot as infantry. The word originated in France because the original firearms they carried were called "dragons", but has nothing to do with killing dragons.

I doubt I would read any more of this story because it is so predictable and unbelievable. The hero has already killed the dragon once, without any experience whatsoever. Can there be any doubt that he is going to kill it again? There doesn't seem to be any twists or surprises in this story and the author has turned a 16 year old boy into an indestructable superhero.

One of the talents of a good fantasy writer is to make the reader believe his story could have really happened, but it is impossible for me to do so in this case. I think you have the potential to write a good story, but it is wasted on just another unbelievable dragonslayer cliche' . Now if the story took a different direction, like having the dragon and boy having to work toether for some reason, and the boy overcoming his hatred, and realizing he could never kill the dragon in the first place, then you have the potential to have a great story people would actually be interested in reading.

       First I wish to apologize ahead of time to anyone who feels I might be to hard on the reviewer, but as someone who was bulled in school to the point I dropped out I have learned its far better to confront an issue or problem head on then to avoid it.

       I also Wonder if this author is aware HE JUST LIED! Never lie to me in a review especially when it is my holy book because I will check, and I will check the text surrounding it (as you will see below) and if you lie to me I will respond and in full force. I ran a blog for awhile and I always check everything I posted (at least to the facts issue) and what people said in response. When you lie about one thing I and others are free to take every thing you wrote and throw it OUT! The first red flag for me if he didn’t include the particular verses that would prove his point, I’ll give a great example.

       By the way I want to apologize ahead of time if anyone doesn’t care to read about a debate on Christian doctrine, but if you fire on a battleship when you’re a frigate expect to be sunk!

And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing. 36. Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one. 37. For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was
reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end. Wait what’s that? “and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.” I am sure your head is spinning let me explain using a little recent history, I think the Holocaust will work. If someone is trying to kill you, you have the right of self defense. Its a little hard to forgive someone when you're dead.

       When Christ was talking about the often off quoted live by the sword die by the sword here is the full passage in context, Matthew 26:51-54 by the way note verses 53 & 54. 51. And, behold, one of them which were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and struck a servant of the high priest's, and smote off his ear. 52. Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword. 53. Thinkest thou that
I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels? 54. But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?

       Oh and as to the “Also the boy practices magic, which the Bible also denounces.” Have you heard the phrase “artistic license?” You think I didn’t already know that? By your standard I’m sure you think J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis were hypocrites too. Particularly Tolkien who created an entire creation story for his stories.

       Also you seem to think I am writing the dragon as a pure magical creature. There is a phrase on assumption. If you wish to place the dragon as a god fine, but as the above states I am free to judge you at the same level. I just won't at least not on this point.

If you have a problem with that then just say so. The fact that I call the story “The Dragoons of Solomus” should tell you it doesn’t happen on Earth. And while we are on the subject of original meaning why didn't you look up Orochi? After all why would the dragoon in the beginning be called dragoon of Orochi, which is a legendary 8-headed and 8-tailed Japanese dragon. Wait could I possibly have something up my sleeve? Yes, yes I do.

       Lastly I don’t mind the first to third, the sixth or part of the seventh paragraphs they are legitimate opinions and I respect that, just do not insult me and expect me not to respond. And just to be honest I don’t think you will ever find my stuff interesting because I am coming at my writings and worlds from one direction, while yours are from a totally different one, and that is not bad. But just as matter and antimatter can not meet with out destroying each other, it becomes an issue when you would seek to destroy the way I look at things. I will not review your stuff, because I have nothing positive to say other then your work is well done, but outside of that I come back to my first point you lied to me, and that I can not nor will I ever respect. I thank you for the kind words that you did give me, but you negated any help they may have had with point number one.
