One of my problems is wanting too much too soon. Yes, I can make the argument that it’s good to dream big, it’s good to reach more people, but why would God give me more people to walk with if I’m not doing such a good job with the ones he’s already placed me in relationship with? Let’s follow Teddy’s advice and start where we are with the people the Father’s already given to us, and let the Spirit bring others as we learn to help people become established in following Jesus.

“You must believe this living Word of God: ‘But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.’ Up to this day you have believed in works and looked at your own heart. You saw only sin and wretchedness, because God annointed your eyes with the salve of the Spirit to see the truth. Do you have sin in your heart, Johannes?”
