festival fever, back to school

2011-08-22T12:55:00.000-07:00

so summer has come to a close and my festival fever has yet to subside. it wont be cured until this school year ends and its festival season once again. yes that's right tomorrow is my last first day of school. senior year, something i have been anticipating for a while now and i must say it is quite an anticlimax because of all the work i have.

anyway on a lighter note here's my take on a back to school look (this is keeping in mind that tomorrow it will be 35 degrees celsius in Vienna

oh and if anyone likes, dubstep, drum and bass or electro check out Eric Kin here

I went to the Delmar Sand Diego fair today. I only went on a couple of rides 'cause I was too chicken to go on most of them. My favorite fair ride is by far bumper cars or "Dodge 'ems" as some people call them. I went for a relaxed sort of festival inspired look which you can hype on lookbook :)

traveling

2011-06-22T16:12:00.000-07:00

So as you guys are aware I will be doing a lot of traveling this summer so I decided to make an ideal travel set on polyvore. Being comfortable is probably the most important thing of all but there's no reason you can't look good at the same time!

check out some more of my sets here

boots boots boots

I went shopping yesterday and was overwhelmed by all the sandals. Is it wrong that all I ever want to wear is boots?

This photo is exactly how my closet looks all year round. A lot of black and boots boots boots!

CA-FL-BEATPATROL-GREECE-IBIZA-FREQUENCY

In my previous post I mentioned how busy my summer is going to be so I thought I better elaborate.

Next week I will be flying to San Diego, CA to visit my family there. I might take a surfing course if I'm not too lazy haha. Then I'll be off to Florida to visit my sister where I'll spend more days lazying around by the pool and hopefully tanning.

When I get back to Vienna it will be straight off to one of the biggest festivals in Austria- Beatpatrol. My goal is mainly to not die in the crowd. I will also be attending another festival in the same place right before school (probably not the best idea haha)- Frequency.

What I am most excited for this summer is going to Greece with Lexi and then Ibiza with her and Emilie to celebrate Lexi's birthday.

All I can say about Summer 2011 is that if I survive it, it'll be the best summer yet. Oh and I almost forgot during all of that I will have to find some time to do all the school work I have to do for the IB -.- and get started on my application/portfolio for Parsons Paris.

im back

2011-06-12T14:30:00.000-07:00

I am very sorry about my absence, and I should tell you guys now I don't know how frequently I will be posting but tonight I just had the urge to blog so here I am. Summer has not officially started just yet but I feel like it has, exams are over and I just have a few things to do before I can wrap up this school year. My summer is going to be veeeerrrry busy, a mix of school work, traveling and festivals, so i apologize if i do not post very frequently.

So on another note, yesterday i spotted Batman and Superman having a drink at Tel Aviv Beach on the Vienna Donaukannal. I love that place it is always a mix of people and its the best place to have a drink on a hot summer day.

This weekend my parents were away and instead of having a typical house party I decided to enjoy the time alone. It got a little quiet after a while so my friend Emilie came over and we had a relaxing evening watching movies and eating junk food. (like the old days when sleepovers were what we looked forward to during the week).

bye for now

2011-03-15T10:12:00.001-07:00

some of you may have wondered why i have not been posting. basically i simply do not have time. so i have taken the cheap easy road and moved to tumblr.com

i may come back so i will not be deleting my blog. look out for some new posts in the summer when i am free as a bird, but right now school is just too demanding. forgive me.

as arnie so wisely said: ill be back
