From the corner of Aristons eye he caught a quick flicker of movement, something unusual that instinctively roused the curious in him. Caught in the wind it twirled madly in the air before becoming ensnared in the branches of a small stunted tree that clung precariously to the rockface. Reaching for it Ariston noticed that it was a torn scrap of paper with some scribbled writting on it. The handwriting looked childish, the blackish letters lopsided and evidently made smeary by drops of rain. " Or maybe tears ?" he mused as he read the note.

"I wish that Death would hold me in his cold embrace
And kiss me with his sweet lips.
How I would lie with a smile upon my face
Not because Life was kind to me or mine
But because he was. "

Sky

(I shall fall broken to the dust)
"Yikes!" thought Ariston, as he quickly glanced upwards in search of it's author.

I am very interested in testing out the power of positive affirmations.
If it is indeed the case that everything we think, feel, say or do is
sent as powerful vibrations to a an impassive Universe which in turn
reflects back those sentiments in kind, then there are hugh implications
for us as individuals and also as nations. Perhaps ultimately the fate
of humanity rests on the expression of our innate nature.

Individually I would like to ask the Universe for a top rate VitaMix.
This is because I would like to optimise the health of my family because
naturally I love them very much. A Vita Mix would allow me to implement
to a greater degree the Raw Food Diet. Love this concept.

Will let you know when the Universe delivers.

How does positive affirmations work for nations? Eastern Africa is
facing drought and starvation for millions of it's people. Syria is
currently facing genocide of it's people by it's own government.?

Does humanity have enough goodwill vibrations to bring about world peace?

What if you're born into a nearly impossible situation. Would love be enough for redemption?

Sky Falling

Chapter One

First she stood very close to the edge, the toes of her shiny black
patented shoes peeking into the far decent below. She could feel the
wind surging through her hair and smelt the keen scent of the sea below.
It was night and above her in a clear sky, a full illuminous moon gazed
down. She noted with a fresh wonder just how beautiful the night sky
really was with its vast illumination of stars, so seemingly timeless
and dispassionate to the small petty affairs of human kind such as she.

"To be so", she thought, and with the moon in her sight she lifted her arms, closed her eyes and let herself fall.

It seemed in that moment she was free. Frozen in time and space she
looked like an angel, her translucent skin illuminated in the
brightness, her long tangle of blond hair streaming out behind her as
she fell in a slow, graceful arc forward.

She had expected the impact to be instant, it's effect immediate, to
be over almost in the same moment as the commitment of the act. It
occured to her that in the event she had time enough to process this
thought, the termination of her fall was not as immediate as she had
first anticipated. She opened her eyes. For a brief instant, she caught
sight of the rocks and crashing waves racing towards her before flipping
over onto her back, the wind tugging fiercely at her dress, the sound
of it rushing in her ears. Suddenly, she felt a chilling mix of terror
and horror at the inevitability of what she had done in that brief
instant on the cliff top in launching herself to her death.

Sky was only seventeen and she was falling to the rocks below. Her
heart gripped with utter dispair and grief and she wondered if there had
been anytime, any opportunity, in her sad, short life, that if taken,
would have led instead to happiness for her and the ones she had loved
so deeply.

"Could I have been happy?", Sky said to the moon as she tasted the bitter saltiness of her tears.

"Could I have loved better, or prayed better or been a better
person?" she said. "If I had endured more, forgiven more, would that
have been enough?"

And the moon, silent and serene as ever said not a thing. Sky closed
her sad blue eyes and committed her spirit to the care of the Lord.
