We noticed while we were downtown at the Community Night Out hosted by the Somervell County Fire Department that there was a boy scouts barbecue at the citizens center. Have to say, it was really wonderful. I was quite surprised after I got through the line for food when one of the very polite boy scouts asked me what I wanted to drink, and then.......

What a great place to show off all the fire engines and emergency vehicles. We saw one of the firemen up on a high ladder carefully climbing up and then back down.

While visiting with Kelly Snodgrass at the Fossil Rim Wildlife Refuge near Glen Rose, Kelly told me that anytime the local sheriff or game warden finds a deer that has been killed on.......

Somervell County Fire Department is Hosting Community Night Out November 14 2009

Not sure why it's not part of National Night Out, like it was last year? But it sounds great. There's going to be FOOD (BBQ), a band (Brazos River Band) and Fire trucks on display. That's Saturday, November 14 and will start at 5:00 pm, downtown on the square.

Yes. It's Friday the 13th. And it's a beautiful day.

Installed Windows 7 recently and using IE8 and the back button on the browser periodically quits working. I can still go back by right clicking and choosing back but I can't just use the big button in the window. I saw that there are others that have complained about this and the solutio.......
