[sonar-announce] Release of Widget Lab plugin v1.0

Hi,

I'm extremely pleased to be able to announce that with the generous help of Evgeny, Eric and Simon, I'm releasing version 1.0 of the Widget Lab plugin.

This plugin offers two new widgets:

WRV Rules Compliance - a Rules Compliance clone, with the Weighted Rule Violations score in the upper-left corner and the violations count moved under the Severities counts. In differential mode it shows both violations cleared and violations added - both numerically and as colored "ears" - versus the net change displayed by the default widget.
Manual Severity Reviews - a clone of the existing reviews widgets. It lists reviews where the severity has been manually adjusted and displays both original and current severity, with the name of the user who made the change. There is currently no other way to see which reviews represent a severity change or what the severity was originally.

Release of tab metrics 1.0.1

I'm pleased to announce the release of Tab Metrics plugin 1.0.1.

This is a minor maintenance release to fix upgrade via the Update Center.

For people who had already installed a previous version, please follow this steps to upgrade :

* Stop Sonar service,

* Delete $SONAR_HOME/extensions/plugins/sonar-tab-metrics-plugin-1.0.jar (or the corresponding snapshot),

* Start Sonar service and install this plugin via update center,

* Restart Sonar

Release of the C# Ecosystem plugin version 1.3

I'm pleased to announce the release of the C# Ecosystem plugin version 1.3.

This version of the C# Plugins Ecosystem brings new exciting features to the .NET world, like the support of integration tests with Gallio, a new widget which displays asserts per test, a brand new plugin that feed some design metrics which activates the Dependencies / Libraries / Design (DSM) pages.

The team has been working for the last 2 years on Sonar 2.x versions, adding support for Continuous Inspection to manage Technical Debt. With Sonar 2.14, we felt that we had reach functional maturity for this support and that adding stability would make it a great candidate for a major release: Sonar 3.0.

Along with the new version, SonarSource is also launching a new commercial plugin, the Developer Cockpit, which enables each developer to see his own contribution, and a new web site.

Sonar Checkstyle Model Plugin 1.1.1 released

Hi all,

eXcentia team is very happy to announce the first public release (1.1.1) of the Sonar Checkstyle Model Plugin.

The purpose of this plugin is to implement Checkstyle default quality model (standard checks) in order to get and classify categories within its rules.

Using Checkstyle Model in Sonar allows you to focus on violations by functionality/category. You will cover all your rules if it is used along with Findbugs Model and PMD Model.

The plugin provides information such as the number of violations by category or the level of implication of Checkstyle in the Sonar active quality profile. It defines a global Checkstyle compliance index for the project, and it also includes a compliance index for each category.

It adds three new widgets to Sonar and a new tab in the source code viewer, and a bunch of new metrics for each quality category (from project level to class level). See how it works in the attached image.

eXcentia team is very happy to announce the first public release (1.1.1) of the Sonar Findbugs Model Plugin.

The purpose of this plugin is to implement Findbugs default quality model in order to get and classify categories within its rules. It is very useful because there are a lot of people that are still using Findbugs as their only quality tool. With this plugin you can switch to Sonar and continue using the same Findbugs categories to detect your quality issues.

Findbugs model provides a "meaning" by grouping violations into Findbugs categories. You can save time studying the relationship between a violation and the quality category affected. For instance, you may want to solve all the Findbugs "Performance" related problems of your project, or "Security" related problems... Using Findbugs Model in Sonar you will be able to focus on those violations.

Detection of cross-project duplications for all the languages. It was limited to Java sources in previous release.
Email notification on new violations
Add notes to rules
Retrieve user information from third-party systems. Version 1.1 of the LDAP plugin is already up-to-date in order to load user name, email and groups.
Enhanced treemap (widget, zoom-in/zoom-out)
New widget to track reviews :

How many active false-positive reviews ?

Release of Flex plugin 1.0

Hi,

I'm pleased to announce the release of the Flex plugin 1.0.

Here is the main changelog :

* The flex plugin doesn't show packages and classes anymore, but folders and files.

* Flex plugin is now compatible with SCM activity plugin

* MXML files are now fully supported (= violations are reported and source code is shown) and included by default as source files

* FlexCPD has been removed in favor of Sonar CPD, which brings better copy-paste detection. This will also automatically bring cross-duplication project detection with Sonar 2.14 (= the plugin won't need to be updated).

* Some other bugs have been fixed as well.

You can update it with the Sonar Update Center.

Sonar PDF Report Plugin 1.3 released

I'm happy to announce a new release of Sonar PDF Report Plugin (1.3).
This release makes the plugin compatible with Sonar 2.13 and solves
some issues like https access to Sonar and a typo in the report
document.

Sonar JavaScript Plugin 0.4 released

Plugin is now compatible with SCM Activity Plugin [SONARPLUGINS-1319] and can import JsTestDriver produced unit test and coverage reports [SONARPLUGINS-1587].
