Day 1. Airport – Rubik
When the group arrives in Albania they will be welcomed by our tourleader and transferred to Rubik. In Rubik we will be accommodated in eco hotel Marubi. Depending on the time we can make a 2 hour walk to the nearby village or we can go and visit the 12 century old Rubik Church from where the view of the area is spectacular.

Day 2: Rubik – Transit Kosovo (Prizren & Gjakova) – Tropojë village
In Kosovo we make a short visit to Prizren. Prizren is known for it’s Ottoman architecture and beautiful mosques and churches. During the Ottoman period it was one of the most important centers of Kosovo Vilayet. Prizren is one of the few cities in Kosovo to have 3 religious communities cohabiting together (Catholic, Orthodox, Muslim).  In Gjakova we will walk through it’s old bazaar, one of the longest in the Balkan, a beautiful testimony of Ottoman Architecture. In the afternoon we reach the village of Tropojë and be accommodated in the village houses.

Day 3: Tropoja village – Sylbica pastures (1800 m )
Guided by the local guide, after loading our luggage on the horses, we begin walking along the banks of Tropoja river. The journey last about 6 hours and in the end we arrive in the Alpine Pastures called Sylbicë.

Day 4: Sylbicë – Dobërdol (1800 -1900 m)
After breakfast we load our luggages on the horses and start walking to Dobërdol. On the way we will have time to take breaks and enjoy the scenery of the Alps.

Day 5: Dobërdol – Çerem – Valbonë (860 m)
Today we walk from Dobërdol to Çerem passing through Koshutica and Vranica alpine pastures. Lunch is organized in the village of Çerem.

Day 6 : Valbona – Valbona pass – Theth (1950 m – 750 m)
We need about 2-3 hours depending on the ability of the group to reach the summit or Valbona pass at the altitude of 1815 m. From there the panorama unveiled of both Valbona and Theth valleys is breathtaking.  In the afternoon we reach Theth and accommodate in the guesthouse.

Day 7: Theth – Qafa e T’hores – Boge – Shkoder – Tirana (1830 m)
By local minibus we drive through Theth – T’thore Pass – Boga – Shkodër. Shkodër has been a very important city for the Albanian since antiquity.  Lunch will be in the city centre with e beautiful view of the pedestrian street where many coffee shops are situated. Next we drive to Tirana and visit the city. We will have a 2 hour guided walk through the city centre.

Day 8: Tirana – Mother Theresa Airport
Breakfast in Tirana. Free time. Transfer to the Airport

Day 1. Mother Theresa Airport – Kruja

When the group arrives in Mother Theresa Airport, they will be welcomed by our tour-guide. Then we drive to the city of Kruja. We visit Kruja, the castle and Scanderbeg Museum. Kruja was the most important town for the Albanians during the 15th century  which  withstood  successfully  to at least 3 major sieges by the Ottoman Empire. The museum we will visit, is dedicated to the Albanian medieval hero Gjergj Kastrioti known as well as  ‘Scanderbeg’. He is considered the most important figure of all the Albanians.

Day 2.  Kruje – Shkoder – Koplik – Boge (by minibus). Boge – Theth (cycling) 

Today we travel to the city of Shkodra and visit Rozafa Castle. The castle rises imposingly on a rocky hill, 130 metres above sea level, surrounded by Buna, Drini and Kiri rivers.  Being an Illyrian stronghold it was eventually captured by the Romans in 167 BC after several battles with the Illyrian Kingdom. After lunch in Shkodër we take the bicycles and start cycling through the mountain road of Bogë – Qafë T’thorë – Theth.

Day 3. Theth – Valbonë (walking)

We begin walking to Valbonë, whereas the bikes will be transported by minibus in another way through Theth – Shkodër – Milot – Kosovo – B.Curri – Valbonë.  As we walk the terrain is going a bit challenging in the first part of the walk but it gets better after the first 2 hours. We will have picnic lunch before we reach Valbona Pass. When we reach the summit we can enjoy the panorama of Valbona Valley unveiled in front of us at the altitude of 1815 m. In the end of our walk minibuses will wait for us to take us to the accommodation place.

Day 4. Valbonë (walking and cycling)

Two options are offered to the group, which can be chosen by them: one part of the group can walk for around 4 hours through this trail Kukaj – Podi – Kollates – Valbona, whereas the other part can cycle in Valbona – Çerem – Valbona. We will have picnic lunch on the way. During dinner we will listen and enjoy the albanian folk music and dancers. Overnight: Valbona, Hotel Margjeka  3 *

Day 5. Valbona – Shoshan (cycling ) – Dezdar (Rafting in Valbona River )

The group starts cycling for around 20km, along Valbona valley. In Shoshan village we load the bikes in our minibus and begin rafting in Valbona River until Gri village. After lunch we continue cycling toward the village of Tropoja. Dinner in Tropoja village.Overnight: Tropoja Village, Astë Guesthouse 3*

Day 6. Tropoje e Vjeter – Bucaj – Padesh – Koshare (Kos) – Botushe – Junik (Cycling)

The group travels in asphalted road and off road to the picturesque village of Padesh which borders with Kosovo. Picnic in Padesh. We continue further down to the village of Botusha and then in the residential centre of Junik in Kosovo. There we will be accommodated in a typical turret type guesthouse. Dinner and Overnight: Junik, Turret type guesthouse 3*

Day 7. Junik – Qafë Morinë – Fierzë – Qafë Mali – Fushë arrëz – Pukë (cycling and driving)

We drive on asphalted roads through Junik – Qafë Morinë – Cërnicë – Fierzë. From Fierzë we can travel in two ways toward Pukë. Option 1. We drive from Fierza to Dardhë village. From there we begin riding the bikes through asphalted mountain roads. The itinerary is: Dardhë – Qafë Mali – Fushë Arrëz – Pukë. Lunch is served in Dardhë village. Option 2. The trip continues rafting in Koman lake beginning from Fierza until we reach Koman. The bikes will be loaded in the ferry which sails through Koman lake every day. Lunch will be organized in Koman . Once we finish lunch we take the bikes and begin riding off road Koman – Qafa e Mjedes – Gomsiqe – Pukë. In the afternoon we arrive in Puka which is situated 838 meters above sea level. It’s one of the highest towns in Albania and is a very interested ski area for the winter season. Overnight: Puka, Hotel Puka 3 *

Day 8. Puka – Gjegjan – Rrëshen – Rubik (cycling).

Breakfast in Puka. We begin the day cycling through mountain roads following the itinerary Pukë – Gjegjan – Rrëshen – Rubik. Rubik where we will be accommodated as well. In the afternoon we make a 2 hour walk and after that visit the 12 century old Rubik Church from where the view of the area is spectacular. Dinner and Overnight: Old village Rubik, Hotel Marubi 3 *.

Day 9. Rubik – Milot – Lac – Fushekurje – Kamez – Tirana (cycling)

Breakfast in Rubik. We continue cycling through the old track that connects some residential areas, like Milot – Lac – Fushe Kruje – Kamez. Next we travel to Tirana, the capital of Albania since 1920, founded as an Ottoman Town in 1614. As we visit the centre of Tirana and National History Museum, we will explore it’s Ottoman, Italian and Communist past who gave shape to its identity as the capital of the Albanians. Overnight: Tirana, Hotel Golden City 4 *

Day 10. Tiranë – Mother Theresa Airport

Breakfast in Tirana. This is a free day for the group. They can either visit the city centre and Et’hem Bey mosque or take some time for shopping before departure. Next we drive to Mother Theresa Airport in Rinas where this tour ends.

Day 1. Mother Theresa Airport – Tirana 

The group is welcomed at Mother Theresa Airport by our Tourguide and transferred to the hotel situated in the centre of Tirana.

Day 2. Tirana – Marikaj – Tirana

Today we will take a city tour of Tirana and visit first, the National History Museum. Next we drive for lunch to the agritourist farm of Marikaj where we will get to taste different local dishes. In the afternoon we continue with our city tour of Tirana and visit the main objects located in Tirana centre as well as Et’hem Bey Mosque.

Day 3. Tirana – Krujë – Durrës – Berat

Kruja was the most important town for the Albanians during the 15th century which withstood successfully to at least 3 major sieges by the Ottoman Empire. Next we drive to Durrës the main port of Albania founded in the 7th century BC. There will visit the amphitheatre built in the 2nd century AD by the Roman Emperor Trajan. The amphitheatre is considered as one of the biggest in the Balkan. In Berat we visit the castle which dates back from the 4th century BC and Mangalem quarter which has given a distinctive look to the town architecture.

Day 4. Berat – Fier – Vlorë

Today we will visit the ex – Textile Mill “Mao Zedong”. which will help us understand better how the industrial cities were formed after the II World War in Albania. Next we continue to the archeological centre of Apollonia an important Hellenic and Roman settlement.

Day 5. Vlora – Orikum – Porto Palermo – Sarandë 

We start in Vlorë to visit the square where the Independence of Albania was proclaimed in 1912. Another interesting archeological site which we will visit is the ancient city of Oricum dating back to 6th century BC. The site is located inside the Naval Base of Pashaliman, the most important one in Albania during the Cold War.

Day 6. Saranda – Butrint – Gjirokastër

Today we travel to Butrinti Archeological Site which attracts many daily visitors. The site is a very old settlement and very important one since the level of preservation there is amazing. Our next destination is Gjirokastra, a UNESCO enlisted site. Gjirokastra is called as well: The Stone City because of the way the houses and streets were built.

Day 7. Gjirokastër

Today we will do a guided tour of Gjirokastra. The city holds another ancient Illyrian settlement. The Argjirin Tribe was the one to found the city around 4th century BC. Around 578 we see the foundation of the castle, which until the 12 century was a small one. Once the population of Gjirokastra grew in size it expanded beyond the walls of the castle. As a city Gjirokastra was founded around the 13^th century. During the Ottoman Empire the city received the look it retains to nowadays.

Day 8. Gjirokastër – Shkodër

Today we travel to Tepelena to visit the castle of Ali Pasha Tepelene who was the ruler of Pashalik of Yanina. Next we drive to Shkoder where will visit Rozafa Castle. The city once called Scodra was founded around the V –VI century BC. It was one of the strongholds of the Labeates tribe who lived around Shkodra Lake. In the entrance of the castle are still visible the ancient wall tracts where the acropolis was situated around the 4^th century BC. Inside the castle you can visit the Museum, which holds some artifacts from the ancient period onwards.

Day 9. Shkodër – Prizren, Kosovo

Today we drive to visit the infamous prison of Spaç. The communism became an imposed Ideology in Albania after the II World War and it created a dark period for the Albanians who had to suffer in prison camps such as Spaç. In Kosovo we stay in Prizren tonight, a city full of character with a heavily influenced architectural look from the Ottoman Empire. Being a very important town during the Empire would create the perfect condition for a trading centre attracting many merchants from the Albanian lands.

Day 10. Prizren – Gjakova –  Pejë

Today we will travel to Gjakova and visit the Old Bazaar and Hadumi Mosque. The Bazaar even though heavily damaged during the Kosovo War in 1999 still has managed to retain some of its old look from the Ottoman Empire. The city of Gjakova was founded around the 15th century with the construction of Hadumi Mosque. Next we travel to Deçani where we will visit the 14th century old Serbian Orthodox Church which has an amazing level of preservation and is very active to nowadays. In the afternoon we reach the city of Peja.

Day 11. Pejë – Prekaz – Prishtina

Today we visit another very important Serbian Orthodox Monastery where most of those who serve there are Nuns. This church which dates back to 13th century is considered as the founding church that made Serbian Orthodox Church independent. Through the Nuns narration you will learn the history of the church and the Biblical foundations in greater details. Next we will be transfer to the village of Prekaz from where the war in Kosovo started in 1999.

Day 12. Prishtina – Mitrovica

This morning we be guided through Prishtina center where we will visit Kosovo Museum and the Ethnographic Museum. The next destination is Mitrovica the divided town between the Serbs and Albanians.

Day 13. Prishtina – Ferizaj

We visit Gadime Cave in Janjeva.

Day 14. Prishtina 

Free time in the morning. We will be transferred to Prishtina Airport for your departure flight.

Day 1: Airport – Tirana
After the group lands in Albania, they will be welcomed by the Albanian travel agency representatives. Next we transfer from the airport to the hotel in Tirana. In the afternoon we visit Tirana and especially the city center, Scanderbeg square, Et’hem Bey mosque, Toptan Castle, Pyramid etc.

Day 2: Tirana – Kruja – Tirana
Today we visit Kruja, the castle and Scanderbeg Museum. Kruja was the most important town for the Albanians during the 15th century which withstood successfully to at least 3 major sieges by the Ottoman Empire. The museum we will visit, is dedicated to the Albanian medieval hero Gjergj Kastrioti Scanderbeg. Lunch will be in the agritourist center of Marikaj where will experience the true Albanian hospitality.

Day 3. Tirana – Koman Lake – Gjakova (Kosovo)
We travel to Koman lake today. In the lake are installed 3 power plants which produce about 60-70 % of Albania electric needs. The biggest one has an installed power of 500 MW. We will sail through the lake for about 2 hours. On the way we can enjoy one of the most scenic routes in Albania. Once we reach the other side of the lake we take the minibus and transfer to the town of Gjakova in Kosovo. In the afternoon the group will have some free time.

Day 4. Gjakova – Prishtina – Peja – Gjakova
Today’s journey will take us to Prishtina, the capital of Kosovo. There we will visit the Museum of Kosovo, Etnographic Museum and the centre of the city. The next transfer is to Peja where will visit one of the most important religious objects for the Serbs. The patriarchate is part of UNESCO Heritage list. In the afternoon we travel to Gjakova to visit the Grand Bazaar, Hadumi Mosque and Tekke complex.

Day 5. Gjakova – Prizren – Ohrid.
Today we travel to Prizren, Kosovo. The town was very important one during the Albanian National Awakening Movement of the 19th century. There we will visit the memorial house of the Albanian League, Sinan Pasha’s mosque, the Orthodox church and the centre. Prizren is well known for its beautiful mosques and preserved churches. During the Ottoman period was one of the most important centers of Kosovo Vilayet. Through the scenic route of Sharri Mountain we head to Ohrid, Macedonia.

Day 6: Ohrid – Saint Naum – Ohrid
Today with the assistance of the local guide we will visit Samuel castle, Saint John Caneo, the amphitheater etc. Lunch will be in Ohrid. In the afternoon we travel to visit Saint Naum monastery venerated deeply by the Macedonians. He helped spread the Bible and the literacy rate in the region.

Day 7: Ohrid – Elbasan (Albania ) – Tirana
Today’s journey will lead us toward Albania through Qafa e Thanes border control. The first stop will be in Elbasan where we will visit the Ottoman Castle and Saint Mary Church. Through the tunnel we reach Tirana where our first visit will be in the newly opened bunker which was designed as an anti atomic bunker for the communist chief of staff and the leadership of the time.

Day 8: Tirana – Airport
Breakfast in Tirana. In the morning before departure we visit the National History Museum. Next we head to Airport where the tour ends.

Day 1: Fly to Tirana.
Arrival of the group at the airport. Transfer airport – hotel (Tiranë). Visit Tirana with the local guide: Historical Center, Ethem Bey Mosque, Castle of Toptan etc.

Day 2: Tirana – Kruje – St. Naum – Ohrid
Transfer to Krujë where will visit the Castle and Skanderbeg Museum. Next we depart via the new highway to Elbasan and Ohrid (Macedonia) across the border of Tushemisht. Before reaching Ohrid we visit the Monastery of Saint Naum. When in Ohrid we will visit the fortress of Tsar Samuel, the church of St. John in Kaneo etc.

Day 3: Ohrid – Tetovo-Skopje
The journey continues to Skopje. There we will visit the Skopje fortress, the old Bazaar, ‘Alexander the Great’ Square, Mother Teresa Memorial.

Day 4: Skopje – Bitola – Florina – Edessa – Veria – Thessaloniki
We travel today to visit the archaeological center of ‘Heracleas’ which dates back to the period of Philip II of Macedonia.  After we arrive in Thessaloniki we take a tour of the historical center.

Day 5: Thessaloniki – Larissa – Lamia – Athens
Today we travel to Athens En route we will have frequent breaks and possibility for visits as well. Accommodation at the hotel. Dinner in a local restaurant with traditional ‘’Bouzouki’ music.

Day 6: Athens – Corfu.
Today we travel from Athens to Corfu, with stops along the way. Accommodation at Hotel in Corfu. Visit of Corfu citadel , Achilles Museum, the old town. Dinner and overnight in Corfu.

Day 7: Corfu – Saranda – Butrint – Sarande
We embark the ferry line from Corfu to Saranda in Albania. The group meets with our travel agency representative in Saranda Port. After the border procedures we will be transferred to Butrinti Archeological Center, part of UNESCO Heritage List. Next we visit also the tourist center of Ksamili.

Day 8: Sarande – Gjirokastra – Apollonia – Berat
Today we will visit the city of Gjirokastra a UNESCO protected site. There will will have the chance the Ethnographic museum and the Castle. Next we are transferred to the Archaeological centre of Apolonia, near Fier.  In the afternoon we arrive in Berat, another UNESCO site in Albania. Tonight in Berat we will take a walk through Mangalem quarter which has given that distinctive look to the city.

Day 9: Berat – Durres – Tirane
This morning we drive to the castle of Berat to visit this amazing site which dates back to 4th century BC. We will take a tour of the castle and end our visit in the Onufri Museum. After the visits we drive to Durres to visit the Roman Amphitheatre which goes back to 2nd century AD. Arrival in Tirana, the Albanian capital and accommodation in the hotel. Next we take a short walking tour of Tirana.

Day 10: Transfers Hotel – Airport
Breakfast in Tirana. Free time for visits and shopping. Transfer to Airport.

Day 1. Transfer Airport – Hotel Tirana
The group is met at the airport by our Guide and Driver and transfer to the hotel in Tirana. After a short time in the hotel we take a city walk to visit the center of Tirana and Et’hem Bey Mosque.

Day 2. Tirana-Marikaj-Kruja – Rubik
Today we start the day by visiting the History Museum in Tirana. After the visit we head to the agritourist center of Marikaj where a nice lunch arrangements waits for us. Next we travel to the city of Kruja where we can visit the Castle and Scanderbeg Museum. In the end of our visits we transfer to Rubik where will be accommodated.

Day 3. Rubik – Prizren – Gjakova – Valbona
We travel today through the Nation’s Highway toward Prizren, Kosovo. In Prizren we will visit Sinan Pasha mosque, hammam, old city center. Next we drive to Gjakova where we visit the Old Bazaar and have lunch as well. After lunch we head toward Valbona valley in Albania.

Day 4. Valbona – Kukaj – Valbona
Today we will walk for about 1 hour to Kukaj village where we will learn more about the life of the local shepherds. We will meet with Tahir, a local, who lives in Kukaj. During tonight’s dinner we have invited a folk group to perform for us. They live in a nearby village and are self taught to play the local instruments and dance.

Day 5. Valbona – Fierzë – Koman – Shkodër
We travel by our minibus until Fierza to catch the boat that sails for about 2 hours through Koman Lake. In Koman lake have been built 3 of the most important hydro power plants in Albania with an installed power of 600 MW. After lunch we drive towards Shkodër where before entering the city we can visit Rozafa castle, which dates back to 4th century BC.

Day 6. Shkodër – Durrës – Berat
Today we head to Durrës the 2nd biggest city in Albania, which dates back to 7th century BC to visit the Roman Amphitheatre. Next we resume driving to Berat to visit the UNESCO city. First we will visit the castle, which dates back to 5th century BC and after that we will take a walk through Mangalem quarter which gave a distinctive look to the city’s architecture.

Day 7. Berat – Elbasan – Ibë (village near Tirana)
Our journey will take us to Elbasan where we will visit the Castle, which dates back from 15th century and Saint Mary church in the castle. After lunch we drive to Kame resort in the near Tirana where will be accommodated.
Day 8. Ibë (village) – Tirana –  Mother Teresa Airport
Today before our flight departure we can take a walk around the village or just relax in the resort before heading up to the airport. End of the Program.

Day 1: Airport – Tirana
Arrival in Albania and transfer from the airport to Tirana. In Tirana we visit Et’hem Beu Mosque, Mother Theresa square, ex- residential area called the “Block”. Dinner in a traditional restaurant. Accommodation in “Golden City” Hotel.

Day 2: Tirana – Krujë – Marikaj – Tiranë
Today we visit Kruja, the castle and Scanderbeg Museum. Lunch will be in the agritourist center of Marikaj. Free time in the afternoon in Tirana.

Day 3: Tirana – Ardenicë – Berat
We continue traveling to Ardenica monastery, the place where our National Hero Scanderbeg was married in the 15th century. Arrival in Berat, a city protected by UNESCO. We visit the castle and Onufri museum. Lunch in the castle of Berat. In the afternoon we walk through Mangalem and Gorica neighborhoods to finish in grandeur with a photo shooting of Mangalem quarter by night.

Day 4. Berat – Vlorë – Llogara – Himarë – Borsh – Sarande
Stopover in Vlora, the city where the independence of Albania was proclaimed in 1912. In Llogara N.P we will have lunch as we listen to Isopoliphonia a traditional way of singing in Southern Albania. The journey continues to Saranda through Himara, Borsh and the other villages. Along the way we will have several breaks in Himarë, Borsh, Porto Palermo etc.

Day 5: Saranda – Butrint – Gjirokastër – Përmet
Tour Butrint archeological center. Next we travel to Gjirokastra where we visit the Castle and the Ethnographic Museum. We continue driving to Përmet where we will be accommodated. Free time in the afternoon. Tonight we have invited a Folk Group who will perform for us traditional melodies called: Kaba from Përmet region.

Day 6: Përmet – Germenj N.P – Korçë
Today we travel through Ersekë and the Gërmenj Park were will have an organized picnic lunch. In the afternoon we reach Korçë where we visit the city center, Mirahori Mosque and Icon’s Museum.

Day 7: Korçë – Pogradec – Saint Naum – Ohrid
When we will be in Tushemisht we can relax and enjoy a coffee in Drilon, a place which attracted very often even the Albanian dictator Enver Hoxha and have lunch as well. We cross the border between Albania – Macedonia through Tushemisht border check-point and visit the venerated monastery of Saint Naum. After the monastery we drive to Ohrid where we will be accommodated.

Day 8: Ohrid
Ohrid is one of the oldest cities of the Balkans, an important center of the Episcopal Church of Rome and Byzantium. Today will visit Samuel castle, Saint John Caneo, the amphitheater etc.Next (all optional) we can take a boat and sail through Ohrid. The remainder of the day at group leisure.

Day 9: Ohrid – Skopje
We resume driving to the city of Skopje via Ohrid – Tetovo – Skopje. In the afternoon we visit in Skopje the: Macedonian Square, Stone Bridge, Old Bazaar, Mother Theresa memorial house, Old train station etc.

Day 10: Skopje – Brezovica – Prizren
Today we travel to Prizren. Prizren is one of the few cities in Kosovo to have 3 religious communities cohabiting together (Catholic, Orthodox, Muslim). It is known as well as for the Albanian National Weakening movement. Lunch will be organized in the vicinity of Prizren. On the way from Skopje to Prizren we will stop several times to enjoy the nature.

Day 11: Prizren – Gjakovë – Deçan – Pejë
Next we travel to Gjakova and visit the Ottoman bazaar, one of the longest in the Balkan. Arrival in Decani where we visit the Serbian Orthodox Monastery protected by UNESCO. Visoki Dečani is one of the largest medieval churches in the Balkan beautifully preserved to nowadays. It stores many frescos dating to the 14th century. After the visit in Deçan we travel to Rugova gorge for lunch. In the afternoon we head back to Peja and visit another important religious site for the Serbian people, that of Peja Patriarchate. The Serbian Patriarchate of Peja is considered a place of exceptional importance for the Serbian people because it is the place from where the Serbs through their Archbishops all crowned here, preserve their National and Spiritual Identity.

Day 12. Pejë – Rožaje – Kolašin – Cetinje – Budva
We continue to Budva – Montenegro, driving through Rozaje – Kolasin – Cetinje – Budva. Along the way we make several short breaks combined with walking and photo stops. In Cetinje we have a city walk through the old Montenegrin Capital and it’s historic buildings. From Cetinje we drive to Budva as one of the most interesting coastal towns of the Adriatic sea.

Day 13: Budva – Kotor – Shkodër
Visit the castle of Budva and old town. Transfer to Kotor a city part of UNESCO World Heritage list. Next we travel to a traditional restaurant near Kotor to experience true Montenegrin cuisine. Proceed to Shkodër, Albania through Budva – Bar – Muriqan (PKK) – Shkodër where we will be accommodated.

Day 14: Shkodër – Mother Theresa Airport
We take a walk through the pedestrian street renovated recently. The pedestrian street leads us to the Catholic Cathedral one of the biggest in the Balkan. Next we drive to the castle of Rozafa and visit this imposing castle which dates back to the 4th century BC. Transfer to the airport. End of the program.

Day 1: Airport – Tiranë

When you arrive at Mother Theresa Airport you will be met by our Tourguide who will escort you to the hotel. Depending on the time of arrival you can take a guided tour of Tirana with our guide.

Day 2: Tiranë – Shkodër – Theth
In Shkodër we visit the Castle of Rozafa and the renovated center. The castle which dates back to 4th century BC was an Illyrian stronghold for many centuries. In Theth we will take a walk to the Locked In Tower to learn more about the centuries old local traditions.

Day 3: Theth – Grunas – Theth
During our walk today we will have the chance to visit Grunas Canyon about 2 km long, the Waterfall and the Blue Eye water spring. It will take us about 6 hours to complete the walk.

Day 4: Theth – Qafë Valbonë – Valbonë
We will hike today today to Valbona Valley. Our luggages will be transported by horse so we just need to carry only the basic things. On the way we will have the chance to stop and have a coffee break and refreshments in one of the huts along the way. The walk takes about 7 hours.

Day 5: Valbonë – White Circle – Valbonë
Today will explore the mountains around Valbona Valley. We will walk in a circle so depending on the desire of group we can make it shorter or longer. It will take us between 5 – 7 hours to finish our walk.

Day 6: Valbonë – Quk Dunisha – Prizren – Rubik
We start the morning with a 2 hours easy walk through Valbona valley. After a short coffee stop in the end of our walk, we head to Kosovo.The first town we will visit in Kosovo is Gjakova, which still preserves it’s Ottoman look especially in the Old Bazaar. Next we drive to Prizren where will visit the Sinan Pasha Mosque, Orthodox Church and several other sites.

Day 7: Rubik – Ardenicë – Berat
We start driving today to Ardenica where will visit the 13 century old Monastery complex. In the afternoon we drive to Berat (UNESCO city) and visit the castle of Berat, which dates from 4th century BC.

Day 8: Berat- Elbasan – Pëllumbas – Ibë
In the morning we visit to the Ethnographic Museum and the King Mosque in Berat. Next we head to Elbasan where we visit the medieval castle and St. Mary church. When in Pellumbas village we prepare our gear and start walking to the cave of Pëllumbas, which is among the largest in the country.

Day 9: Tirane – Airport
Depending on the flight schedule we can either visit the National History Museum and Et’hem Bey Mosque or transfer to Airport.
