The Highway Q.C.’s were an Amercin group active for more than fifty years. The group launched the careers of several secular stars, including Lou Rawls, Johnnie Taylor, and Sam Cooke. They were founded in 1945 in Chicago by a group of male teenagers who attended Highway Baptist Church that included Sam Cooke, Creadell Copeland, Marvin and Charles Jones, and Curtis and Lee Richardson. Cooke sang with the group through 1951 when he joined the Soul Stirrers: Lou Rawls took his place through 1953. Rawls had previously sung with the Holy Wonders and eventually all the other Wonders (Spencer Taylor, James Walker and Chris Flowers) would join the Highway Q.C.’s. This digitally re-mastered release showcases some of the Q.C.’s greatest recordings, such as Jesus I’m Waiting, Nearer to Thee, He Said, I used to Wonder and more.

have included the Grammy award winning gospel music group, The Dixie
Hummingbirds to the most recent release of Sonorous Entertainment’s Platinum
Gospel Series. The Dixie Hummingbirds are an influential American gospel music
group, spanning more than 80 years from the jubilee quartet style of the 1920’s,through
the “hard gospel” quartet style of Gospel’s golden age in the 1940’s and 1950’s,
to the eclectic pop-tinged songs of today. Formed in 1928 in Greenville, South
Carolina, by James B Davis and his classmates, they sang in local churches until
they finished school and started touring throughout the South. During the
years, a number of talented singers starred in the group-their bass, William
Bobo (known as Thunder), tenor Beachy Thompson, James Walker (who replaced
Owens), and Claude Jeter, who went on to star for the Swan Silvertones. The
Hummingbirds added guitarist, Howard Carroll, who added even more propulsive
force to their high-flying vocals. In 1973 the group was awarded a Grammy in
the Best Soul Gospel category for “Love me like a Rock”. In 2000 their 1946
single, “Amazing Grace” was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.

Now you can enjoy their greatest works from their glory days
from the iconic HOB catalogue with this all new collection. Each track has been
transferred from the original master tape, and painstakingly remastered in a

Toronto, ON--February 22, 2013—Sonorous Entertainment Inc.—has completed an agreement with U.K. based Christian pop and R&B artists, Beautiful Remnant Group (BRG) to re-release their latest single “Confidence”. BRG are five girls from West London, UK. The all girl group was formed in late 2009, after picking up on a natural bond and enjoyment of singing together for their church choir. The girls set out to turn their love into a ministry and caught the attention of acclaimed manager Roy Francis. That relationship aided to form the band, and allowed them to grow into their own independence.

In 2010, BRG began working with Face Down Music Group (FDMG). The sole aim of the new partnership was to keep the uniqueness of the group and perform songs that truly captured their personalities. This gave the girls their USP, which quickly opened doors from UK through to Nashville, working with renowned Otto Price. Since that time, the dream and vision have created a strong friendship, and a great message wrapped in sultry pop and RNB vocals!

“Confidence” came out of a group discussion from the general feeling of the group. One of the members had been told by a friend to leave the music scene and give up. Capturing the first words from the discussion 'they say confidence is a journey, but then ask why are you not confident in the same breath'... As their feelings were poured out on the table that night, the song was developed. It became obvious the lyrics were divinely inspired.

Sonorous has begun working cooperatively with the groups UK based management team FDMG with the implementation of marketing & promotional campaigns, and innovative public relations. “We already feel a unique confidence, if I may pun the songs title, building with this group of young ladies. Beautiful Remnant Group has delivered a refreshing sound that instantly lifts your spirit. The lyrical content comes armed with a message of inspiration and hope that people can grab hold of today to remain steadfast and strong in their goals”, reflected Sonorous Entertainment’s Managing  Director, Mr. Ivan Cavric.
