Looking forward to Fall

The first day of October has arrived!! I am looking forward to the brilliant colors of Fall and the cooler weather. Around here, the Fall is also time for the State Fair. Our family has a tradition of going to the fair every year. As our kids have gotten older it definitely makes it more difficult to try and plan a time to go with school during the week and activities on the weekend. However, we always make the time and I know we are creating memories that we will always treasure.

So, what are your favorite fall activities? Jumping into piles of leaves...Picking out the perfect pumpkin... Cheering on your favorite team at a football game? Share them here if you would like.

With the cooler weather in mind, we will soon be offering long-sleeve versions of some of our most popular designs. Keep a close eye on our website for these new additions!

Keeping Cool in Extreme Heat

Most of the country has been suffering through extreme heat this summer. Here in North Carolina we have twice tied the record all-time high of 105! It certainly makes me thankful for the invention of air conditioning. I often think that there is no way I would have survived without some of the modern conveniences that we have today. With that being said, there are many who do not have the ability to escape from the heat due to homelessness or financial instability. Please remember them in your prayers and pray that resources would be made available that would allow them to have a respite from the heat.

Hello - Welcome to our SonShine Wear blog. This is our first posting. On this blog we hope you will find information that inspires you and deepens your spiritual walk with God. We believe that the ability to share your faith with others is directly related to the way we live our lives. We should be inviting others to share that journey with us. Are you living in a way that Shines for God? If not, we encourage you to make the choices that allow His beauty to shine through you.

We are really excited to be launching our new website, SonShine Wear. Our products are designed to let you Shine in a way that is inviting and creative thereby potentially opening the door to reach others for Christ through you. Right now we are offering designs for women, men and children. There are more designs in development and will be available soon.

We will be posting information about new products and special events and promotions here on our blog as well. We hope you will join us as we discover all that God has in store for SonShine Wear.
