How to Fight Second Rival
Only for Ryu, Cammy, Chun-li, Seth, C.Viper, and Guile: Hold the all kick button as soon as you see "Now! Fight your Rival!" to fight against the character's second rival.

Fight Gouken in Arcade Mode
The Following Requirements must be met while playing Arcade Mode to fight Gouken, who will appear after the battle with Seth. (In default settlings. I.E. 3 Rounds): -Do not lose a single round -Perform 5 Super or Ultra Combo Finishes. -Score 2 Perfect Rounds (Not get hit a single time during a Round) -Connect 10 "First Hits" (When you're the first to connect a strike during a Round)

Unlocking new colors and taunts quickly
Start a Vs. mode match against the CPU and choose the character you want to unlock new colors or taunts. Pause game play when the match starts and return to the character selection screen. A new color or taunt for your character will be unlocked. Repeat this as many times as needed.

Final Fight
Beat the car bonus stage with Guy or Cody and the lower level baddie Bred, from final fight, will pop into the scene and cry "OH MY CAR!" just like in Final Fight.

Fight as Akuma
To play as Akuma in arcade mode, select Guile and press UP. To play as Akuma in Training/Versus modes, select E. Honda and press UP.

Fight against Akuma
Defeat all opponents before reaching M. Bison in less than twenty minutes without using any continues. When you fight M. Bison, Akuma will appear, perform the Shun Goku Satsu on Bison, then fight your character.

Classic Akuma
To use Classic Akuma in Classic Arcade mode, highlight the following people for about 3 seconds each: Ryu, T.Hawk, Guile, Cammy, then Ryu again. Then press Start and all 3 punch buttons simultaneously. For Classic Arcade-Versus/Training mode, highlight Ryu, the random box beside Guile, Guile, Sagat then Ryu again.

Classic character versions
Press [Jab] to select the current version of one of the following characters in Classic Arcade mode. Then, one enter the corresponding code as the airplane flies to the top of the screen and press [Jab] again. A sound will confirm correct code entry. Complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding character. Note: All the characters can be unlocked in "Easier" mode with one round.
1. Akuma: After unlocking all characters except for Seth, Gouken, and Akuma, play Arcade mode with Ryu. During the first two fights, win them with nothing but the "Jump in kick and sweep" method (Fierce Kicks only) and get a "Perfect". For the third and fourth fights, repeat the method but instead of finishing them off, take a beating to fill your Ultra combo and unleash it to finish them. For the remaining fights, repeat the "Jump in kick and sweep" method to finish the fights (no Ultras necessary). If done correctly, Akuma should appear after defeating Seth. Defeat Akuma to unlock him.
2. Cammy: Complete Arcade mode with Crimson Viper.
3. Dan: Complete Arcade mode as Sakura.
4. Fei Long: Complete Arcade mode as Abel.
5. Gen: Complete Arcade mode as Chun-Li.
6. Gouken: Complete Arcade mode with Akuma. How you win does not matter. You will not meet him in the end. Then, go back and finish Arcade mode again as Ryu (using the same method used to unlock Akuma), only this time you will perform an Ultra on the fifth fight in addition to third and fourth. Defeat Seth and Gouken will appear. Defeat him to unlock him.
7. Rose: Complete Arcade mode as Bison.

Extra ammunition
If you run out ammunition but have enough Tequila Bomb for the "Precision Aim", aim at someone and shoot. This will create 20 to 30 more rounds for the handgun. Always try to have a enough Tequila Bomb for "Precision Aim" in the event you run out of ammo.

Have golden pistol and normal pistols at the same time
When you have a golden pistol do a spinning technique and in the short video you will see him using two golden pistols. After the video is finished if you only had a golden pistol in your inventory there will be your normal pistols aswell.

Jedi robe
Successfully complete the game with the Jedi ending.

Sith Lord difficulty

Getting Kento's robe in "Imperial Kashyyyk"
This robe is unlocked after an intermission sequence. Turn around and look behind you after the intermission sequence where Starkiller has a vision in the hut. There should be a Holocron behind a wooden object. Collect it to unlock Kento's robe.

Getting Sith robe in "Raxus Prime"
After defeating the first junk Titan you encounter, go across, and from the bridge after this you must fight more of the Force-controlled robots. Once this is done, leap across a large area. Once there, to your left will be a section of steel beams. Force Push these down to find the Holocron that will unlock the Sith robe.

Easy Force Points
Reach a checkpoint that is just before a large group of enemies. Intentionally die during the battle. Every time you respawn at the checkpoint, your Force Point total will remain intact. Repeat the battle to build your Force Point total.

TIE Fighter Factory: Clone Trooper helmet
When you reach the point in the factory where the TIE Fighters attack you, there are metal beams you can bend. Bend the last one backward and make it a sort of step. Jump on the bent part and then again. Look at the roof of the hallway and jump there. There is a clone trooper helmet on the ground.

Raxis Prime: Hidden X-Wing
After you have electric bombed the initial entrance to the Hyperdrive Core three times, stand facing away from the entrance and walk to the right slightly. Look into the toxic waster sludge and you will automatically target something. Raise it up with Force Grip to see that it is an X-Wing.

Easy Force Points
Reach a checkpoint that is just before a large group of enemies. Intentionally die during the battle. Every time you respawn at the checkpoint, your Force Point total will remain intact. Repeat the battle to build your Force Points.

Lightening Grenades
Grip an enemy, shock them with Force Lightning, then Force Throw them at other enemies. The enemy will explode, killing all nearby foes with minimal Force Power consumed.

Defeating Darth Vader
For the first part of this battle, use Force Repulse or Force Shield with lightsaber attacks to take him down. When he runs into the room with hot red floors, pull an object off the wall, and hit him with it before he hits you. After he is hit, Force Dash over to where he is, and perform some easy attacks on him. Once he jumps on to the platform with you, use Force Repulse or Force Shield, and perhaps some Force Lightning. Try to block as much as possible; if he hits you, he will do quite a bit of damage. Once he is almost dead, press X to start the button sequence. After a short intermission sequence, you will have to battle him again, this time without his helmet. This battle is very easy. Just make sure you stay out of the air. He will try to use Force Grip on you if you are in the air and he is not stunned. Use Force Dash to get away from him, then use Force Repulse to break his block, and get a couple hits in. It will only take a few Force Repulses to take him out, even on the Sith Master difficulty. Do the button sequence to defeat him.

Defeating Maris Brood
Make sure that you have your Force Shield up to level 1 or 2 before the battle with Maris begins (depending on the difficulty). When Maris becomes invisible, charge up your Force Shield. If it is at level 2, the arcs of lightning will show where she is. You can attack her while the electricity has her stunned. If it is not at level 2, try to randomly attack when she is invisible or use the Force Shield while she is still visible to get easy hits on her.

Black Lightsaber Crystal in "Death Star"
In the final mission where you are in the area of the Death Star where all of the green lasers meet, take the Graviton Generator up to its highest point. You should then be able to see the Holocron. It is on the platform just above the highest laser. It is somewhat difficult to reach. Use the Gravitron Generator to get as high as possible. When you are higher than the platform that the Holocron is on, press LB, B to get across.
Once on the Death Star, fight your way to the large focusing chamber with the two graviton lifts. Fight the two AT-ST's at the bottom of the room, then activate the lifts. Take them to the very top of the room, and kill any Imperials in your way. At the top, look above the laser focusing crystal, and you should see a Jedi Holocron. To get there, you must jump on the beam above the laser channel. If you can time it right, you can get there by jumping from the top grav lift ring, but this can take a while. To make it easy, stand on the top grav lift ring, and pull one of the channel rings out of its place, and put it between the Apprentice and the beam you need to get to. Be sure to place it on the ground, and then just let go or else the ring will break, roll away, or tip over. Once in place, jump onto the ring, then onto the beam (be careful of the laser as one hit will kill you), then get the Holocron, and equip the Crystal.

Movie references in "Imperial Kashyyyk"
Get through the second gate, and enter a room where you must fight one of the Emperor's royal guards. In the room with the Wookie on the wall, to the left is what appears to be Jar-Jar Bink, frozen in Carbonite, as well as some other memorable characters from the Star Wars movies such as the eye of the creature that was in the trash compactor with Luke, and the little creature that sat next to Jabba the Hutt.

Crash landed Millennium Falcon in "Imperial Raxis Prime"
After you bend out the first mangled mess of metal and kill all the Rodians, stay to the right along the platforms as much as possible. When you reach the end prior to the chasm, look over the edge to see the Millennium Falcon.

Enable save game with cheats on
The game cannot be saved when non-costume codes are enabled. To bypass this, enable the code on a level that has an auto-save point. After reaching that location, intentionally die or press Start. Exit to the main menu then select "Continue". You can now manually save the game with that code still active.

Wandering bonus dungeon

Use both superhero and villain strikes
Notice as Spider-Man uses both his red and blue/black suits, his alignment meter will progress toward his good or bad side respectively. Take a look at the photo in the lower left-hand corner of the screen as well as the alignment meter in the pause menu. While the alignment picture is displaying the red and blue suit, only superheroes will aid him, and conversely while the black symbiote is displayed, only villains will help. As long as the picture is one color, it does not matter what suit you use until the meter color crosses the middle. If you maintain a very close middle ground, you can effectively utilize both the superheroes and villains (although not at the same time.) Strategize by getting both red and black points until your alignment meter is precisely in the middle. You might notice as you defeat one enemy using a suit that Spidey's picture will change in the lower left hand corner of the screen. Even if you have a hero summoned, if you quickly switch to the black suit and defeat more of the enemies until the photo changes, that hero will still stay with you until you dismiss him or your special meter runs out. The same holds true for villains and switching back to the red suit. The alignment affects whom you can summon, not who you have already called in. Use this strategy to defeat your enemies, get the most experience points, and unlock all the moves.

There is a way to cut the distance you have to travel. Get to the Daily Bugle. Get in between two smoke towers. You can use your Spider-Sense to find it. Look in the direction you want to go, then press Square and tap Left Analog-stick Down.

Easy kills
When an enemy is running away from you, press Circle. You will stun their eye and make it easier to kill them.

Defeat enemies
To easily defeat enemies jump then keep tapping both Attack buttons.

Fight Against King-Pin
As Black suit Spider-Man, use your slow motion to dodge the King-Pin's attacks. Build up your "Rage Mode". Once in "Rage Mode" you can attack as normal.

Play as the New Goblin (Collector's Edition)
Defeat the New Goblin in his first battle to unlock him as a playable character.

Fight against Venom
To defeat Venom in the grand finale mission, hold L1 and run and hit the boxes which drive him crazy. By holding L1 while doing this, you will have more time to run while your opponent is in slow motion.

Getting angry
To get angry without having do fight enemies, simply tap R1 repeatedly. Spider-Man will make a shaking hand motion and will scream. The longer you tap R1, the more rage you will build up.

Unlimited Hero Points
Play through the game and take EVERY bosses photo, and whatever gang members you want, but leave at least one. After beating story mode get any remaining pictures you haven't taken, and you'll get around 15 points. Save your game and reset your PS3. Load your game and you should hear and see the Villain Photo complete and gain another 15 hero points. Send them, save, and restart the process as much as needed.

Get past bridge barriers up to a certain point
You can't take a bridge to the other side because of invisible barriers. I have found a way to get past them. However, you are very limited to what you can do. First, go to the Manhattan Bridge because it is a long one. Go within barriers and be on the side of the bridge where cars are heading to the barrier and beyond (right side). Jump on one of the cars and immediately enter Photo Mode. Hopefully, the car will continue driving and will drive past the barrier. You are still alive and are able to move around, zoom in, and take photos. You cannot leave Photo Mode because you will be catapulted back to the barrier. You can go as far as the other borough that is heavily lighted in the night time. At a certain point (usually when the bridge ends), you will reach a gray screen, and the only thing you can do is push the Start button and start over.

Random gangs
If you go to a crime area that is already been taken over by the police, you may still answer, but it will be challenges with a random gang. Note that nothing will happen to the area once you complete the mission.
