PresenTense is a grassroots venture aimed at enriching the Jewish People by equipping the next generation of Jewish pioneers and innovators with the tools and ideas they need to launch and develop initiatives that have the potential to change the world and inspire the Jewish People. PresenTense is accomplishing this mission through a portfolio of initiatives, including the PresenTense Institute in Jerusalem, PresenTense Magazine, and PresenTense educational programming.

Leadel.NET is a unique social change video portal and network, aimed at Jewish students and professionals across the globe. The primary aim of the project is to create an online Jewish media hub with a focus on creating a link between the leaders of today and the innovators of tomorrow. Launched in September 2008, Leadel already contains a unique gallery of interviews with a wide range of leading personalities, giving a truly new perspective of Jewish culture, thought and identity around the world.

Nevertheless, we don't want to stop at "simple interviews", just mediating ideas. As our aim is to experiment with the web to create actual contact between people who do and people who aspire to do. We will soon be launching our Leadel.NET guest feature that will encourage members to contact our featured guests through the site.

Inservice is the ASCD community blog-a place for educators to gather and share ideas. We hope it will promote the kind of exchange that happens in inservice meetings, where educators discuss how best to support their students. We want it to be a resource for everyone who cares about and serves education, learning, and teaching. Some topics discussed on Inservice include teacher professional development, No Child Left Behind, assessment of English language learners, and whether or not middle schools really work.

Smart Board Jewish Educational Database

This SJED portal contains a database of SMART Board lessons submitted by Jewish educators throughout the world. In this site, you may download lessons through a search or by browsing the various lesson subjects and topics. You may also submit a lesson, after filling out the appropriate form; each lesson will be reviewed and then posted. A selection of Useful Links and Library of SMART Board resources is also available. Through the Contact Us page, we encourage your feedback and input. You are encouraged to review the Guidelines, especially for information regarding lesson standards and format.

On1Foot, a project of American Jewish World Service, is a searchable online database of Jewish social justice texts designed to support rabbis and Jewish educators who want to teach about Judaism and social justice. Users can allows users to search and browse hundreds of biblical, rabbinic and contemporary Jewish texts about social justice, upload new texts and create custom source sheets using the texts and suggested discussion questions.

The first issue of JESNA's Snapshots & Insights, examining the history and current state of resource centers for Jewish educators, alternative models, and lessons learned about best practices. Snapshots & Insights is JESNA's newest publication series designed to disseminate emergent data and understandings. Each issue will briefly focus on lessons learned about a single aspect of Jewish Education based on research and evaluations (performed primarily by JESNA's Berman Center for Research and Evaluation in Jewish Education) as well as on-the-ground knowledge (primarily gleaned from JESNA's Learnings Consultation Center staff who work directly with Jewish educators in the field).
