Threat Signal 3rd studio release is a hard hitting clash or roaring heavy metal, personally I was a little disappointed that this album seemed to lack so many of the fantastic qualities from the last 2 albums, this album seems much more focused on the heavy elements of the songs rather than the beautiful melodic passages that really made the last 2 releases stand out in my books.

We are sad to announce the departure of our good friend Paul Gooding from Soul Sanctuary due to personal reasons, it been a cool ride along the way and Paul, as the founding member of the band will be sadly missed. He was an awesome bass player and we shall never forget his amazing style. Take care with all of your future endeavours my friend!

But in the same breathe we welcome our new bassist Ben Taylor to the band. Welcome brother I'm sure you will make a fine addition to this motley crew!

I have always hated coming to this crappy blogger page to write out posts for this so i guess that's why it's been so long sice i actually did an update. But it's about time i jumped back on the wagon and got things rolling again. Hello to everyone already following Luke's adventures...i thought i'd come along for the ride and offer the occasional different perspective on the lives we lead.

Not too much to report at the moment as im losing my blogger virginity.. The band has had a good couple of weeks with some enjoyable and memorable gigs. The usual after antics followed and made it even clearer than crystal as to why we do it.

If even one person gets as much enjoyment out of seeing us play, as i do, its good for me. A room full of people screaming PLEASANT things....thats also very good :) I would hope that anyone who eventually reads these posts will have the chance to see us somewhere at some point in time, I'll be the first to say; i recommend you take it!

Well About 2 weeks ago Sol Sanctuary Launched it's officail youtube channel, http://www.youtube.com/soulsanctuarymusic1 we already have almost 200 subs on this channel and it the view count is growing fast! so anyways we will be updating this channel as often as possible with latest soul sanctuary video's, be it new music video's video blog's of recording documentries, they will all be uploaded here.

We will so also be purchasing a new personal video camera (we only have a crap one at the moment!) to keep the Soul Sanctuary day to day journals on, so if you wanna help us fund this endevour please click o one of the google ads at the top of the screen =] lol we suck we're poor! lmao

Hi guys, it's Luke here.

Holy crap it's been hard work the last week, but it's been well worth the effort! in the last week we have jumped over 400 places in Reverbnation.com's metal charts and we are almost in the top 50! and if progess continues the way it has through out next week we will probably almost be in the top 10. hanging with the like of pantera. lol, wouldn't that be nice!

We also gained almost a thousand new fans in the last month, on myspace and facebook so thank you to of of you who have joined our ranks recently horns up to you guys! and most respect to all the people who have been placing our banners and our music widgets about to help spread our music to the masses.

our new official youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/soulsanctuarymusic1 now has over 150 subcribers since it's officail launch just 2 weeks ago. so major thanks to all the people that have signed up there.

we also want to give a big thanks to all the people that have been leaving some great feedback and commentsabout our music on our facebook and myspace pages, it means alot to us to hear your opinion. We get haters too, but the good outways the bad 100 to 1 so we can't complain!
