Judi's Introduction:

The Author teas were the brain storm of Barbara Howett who wrote “Ladies of the Borobudur”, collecting stories of the wives of men working in Jakarta using the voice of a woman singing in the place where they lived, the Borobudur. As I got ready for telling of my life starting over again and again, I asked women at Arrowhead what they had done in their lives. What I realized is that we at Arrowhead could write a very interesting book about “The Ladies of Arrowhead.” (And men, of course.)

I mentioned to Laura that my Toastmaster Icebreaker speech so many years ago was titled “Life begins Again and Again.” She asked me to be the speaker at the September 10^th Sunday tea. I said yes. And I intended to also ask people in the audience to share with each other answers about their lives. And that’s what I did.
