Bored with the standard, here's a new song, its nice, listen to it, blah blah like all the other blogs. So i have a new format and just need to get rid of the old posts anyway, so i decided to start a completely new one. You can visit it at spikeandtrusty.blogspot.com. After a couple years, Kelis returns with a dancefloor, club-friendly hit. Acapella is perhaps a modern dance version of a late '70s disco hit gone Guetta.

Kelis has been around for over a decade, perhaps peaking to a mainstream audience with Milkshake. Before bringing all the "boys to the yard," Kelis entered the scene with "Caught Out There" off her album Kaleidoscope.

Lupe Fiasco - Fighters

I believe Lupe Fiasco to be a true hip hop artist. After hearing "Superstar," off his album The Cool, I knew the rest would be just as good. Using Matthew Santos' vocals on this song and on several others, gives this album a balance of R&B and hip hop.

Matt Pokora - She's Dangerous

Sort of new music from french pop singer Matt Pokora. With Timbaland's beats, its pretty standand dance pop music, many say similar to that of Justin Timberlake, but I would have to say its pretty catchy. It's worth a listen.

Shiny Toy Guns - Don't Cry Out

The first song I heard from this group was "Le Disko," and I was immediately hooked. Hailing from L.A., Shiny Toy Guns' songs are very catchy with an 80s synth-pop/punk electro sound. "Don't Cry Out" has an addictive beat with both male and female vocals. Unfortunately, their US tour has ended and they are doing a very extensive tour in Europe. Some of their songs sound a bit overproduced so I will welcome a more raw second album. For now, I am defintely enjoying their sound.

This may end up just being another music blog, but I figure I'd give my love for music an outlet to share to others who have the same musical interests as myself. As the title indicates, there will be music from all over the world and over all different genres. My taste in music greatly eclectic and I'm sure you'll notice that as this project goes on. Hopefully, you'll like what you hear.
