TASKS
Through geophysical data interpretations, contribute to the appraisal of risks and technical issues related to the evaluation of new projects and the location of exploration wells.

Contribute to building/ updating the databases and knowledge bases of TOTAL.
Ensure the analysis, interpretation and synthesis of geophysical data.

Contribute to the development of geological models within the framework of integrated projects
Ensure the archiving and on-going management of acquired information (reports, data management)

SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational

Raising debit & Credit Notes as appropriate and ensuring appropriate journal entries are made in respect of various transactions involving Intra-company, Intercompany and suppliers.
Processing withholding tax (WHT), VAT and Payroll Deductions. Follow-up with banks for WHT receipt, credit note and evidence of filing of VAT with FIRS
Responsible for Cash office Functions, Including Daily Cash count and Float reimbursement
Monitoring of staff advances and inform payroll of long outstanding cash advances for recovery from staff salaries
Cary out Bank reconciliation, investigate and clear all outstanding Items
Review of Bank charges & Correspondence with Banks on refunds
Prepare financial reports, schedules and proof of relevant accounts in the general Ledger.
Prepare schedule of outstanding payments on daily basis and seek approval for payment.
Raise requisition on Oracle for necessary approvals
Maintain good documentation standard that assures ease of retrieval
Carry out other finance function as may be assigned from time to time by the Financial Accountant

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
1st degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or any Social Science discipline.
1 – 2 years cognate work experience within a reputable and structured business environment
ACA will be an added advantage

Prior experience with innovative technology and channels is a plus (point of sale devices, ATMs, prepaid cards, mobile phone banking, internet infrastructure and banking, etc.)
Business process and application integration experience.
Prior Enterprise application integration experience.
Minimum of Bachelor degree in Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, and/or related fields with numerate coursework is preferred.
Possession of a relevant professional certification like ITIL, PMP, Prince2, MCSE etc. is required. Key Performance Indicators:
- Internal & external customer satisfaction and retention levels.
- Level of compliance bank wide with IT Security requirements and guidelines.
- Adequacy of internal systems and controls.
- Number of operational downtimes due to system failure.
- Occurrence/frequency of security breaches/violations.
- Compliance with IT regulatory provisions.
- Number and value of regulatory penalties caused by IT.
- Compliance level of the IT staff with internally pre-agreed SLAs/OLAs.
