Posting the new Boards Of Canada seems kinda pointless because, well, its already all over the interwebs, but… it is Boards Of Canada so – here we go! The Scottish duo have teased us for weeks with cryptic clues (or more accurately – clever marketing) surrounding their forthcoming album ‘Tomorrow’s Harvest’ (out June 10 via Warp). Skinny Dream have posted ‘Exhale’ from their forthcoming debut EP ‘Crushing’ – expected next month! The British shoegazers have already impressed with ‘Crush‘ and ‘Alloa‘, thankfully ‘Exhale’ (free download) is no different. The Southend four piece lay down a casually paced melody as the layered guitars gradually gain width. Looking forward to June 24!

Pure Bathing Culture isn’t the catchiest of band names but their latest tune ‘Pendulum’ certainly is. It’s a delicate new wave pop piece with its heart stuck in the 80s. For whatever reason, my warped brain imagined Cyndi Lauper fronting The Smiths at a school disco, playing this for the slow dance. Hmm, well that was embarrassing. Moving on… Pure Bathing Culture’s new album ‘Moon Tides’ is out this August (USA – Partisan Records / UK – Memphis Industries).
