&lt;br /&gt;
Drumstick - 2 nos&lt;br /&gt;
Small onions - 5 nos&lt;br /&gt;
Grated coconut - 2 table spoons&lt;br /&gt;
Fennel seeds - 1 teaspoon&lt;br /&gt;
Dry chilies&amp;nbsp; - 8&lt;br /&gt;
Coriander seeds&amp;nbsp; - 2 teaspoons&lt;br /&gt;
Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
For seasoning...&lt;br /&gt;
Oil - 2 table spoons&lt;br /&gt;
Mustard seeds- 1/2 Teaspoon&lt;br /&gt;
Urad dal - 1/2 Teaspoon&lt;br /&gt;
Curry leaves - 10 nos&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Method :-&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Slice the onions.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Cut the drumstick into 2 inch pieces.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Dry roast chillies, coriander and fennel seeds and grind with coconut.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Heat oil in a pan, and add the seasoning.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Add onion slices and drumstick pieces one by one and fry for a minute.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Add the ground masala with enough water.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;When Onion became translucent add the ginger garlic paste, and saute for a while.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;Then, Add potato and saute for three minutes.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;Add enough water and allow the vegetables to cook.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;Finally, add the coconut mix and the masala powders.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;Adjust the salt. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;Cover the pan and cook for another five minutes in low flame.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="margin: 0px;"&gt;Black chana (Soaked overnight) - 1 cup&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="margin: 0px;"&gt;Tomato - 1&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="margin: 0px;"&gt;Onion - 1&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="margin: 0px;"&gt;Green chillies - 2&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="margin: 0px;"&gt;Chilli powder - 1 teaspoon&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="margin: 0px;"&gt;Grated coconut -2 tablespoon&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="margin: 0px;"&gt;Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="margin: 0px;"&gt;Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="margin: 0px;"&gt;Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="margin: 0px;"&gt;Ginger - 1/2 inch piece&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="margin: 0px;"&gt;Garlic - 3 cloves&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="margin: 0px;"&gt;Coriander leaves ( chopped) - 1 table spoon&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="margin: 0px;"&gt;Oil- 3 teaspoons&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="margin: 0px;"&gt;Salt to taste&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="margin: 0px;"&gt;&lt;u&gt;Method&lt;/u&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="margin: 0px;"&gt;&lt;u&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/u&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="margin: 0px;"&gt;1. Pressure cook the chana.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="margin: 0px;"&gt;2.&amp;nbsp;Grind all the ingredients except chana with enough water to make a paste.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="margin: 0px;"&gt;3. Heat oil in a pan and season with cinnamon and cloves.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="margin: 0px;"&gt;4. Add the masala to the above seasoning and&amp;nbsp;saute&amp;nbsp;till the oil&amp;nbsp;separates.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="margin: 0px;"&gt;5. Mix the cooked chana with this mixture.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="margin: 0px;"&gt;6. Wheat Rava -1 cup&lt;br /&gt;
moong dal - 1/2 cup&lt;br /&gt;
sugar - 1 1/4 cup&lt;br /&gt;
coconut milk - 1 cup&lt;br /&gt;
cashew nuts - 15 &lt;br /&gt;
cardamom powder -1/2 teaspoon&lt;br /&gt;
ghee - 2 teaspoons &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Wash rava and dal and presure cook until 3 whistles.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Fry chashew nuts in ghee and keep aside.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Open the cooker and add sugar in the mixture and cook on slow flame.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Add one glass of water and allow it to boil.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Add coconut milk,cardamom powder and cook for another 3 minutes.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Garnish with fried cashew&amp;nbsp; nuts and serve hot or cold.&lt;br /&gt;

asafoetida - 1 pinch &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;curry leaves -10 nos&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;Method:-&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;Cut the potatoes in to thin strips.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;Chop the onions and garlic cloves.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;Soak tamarind in 1 cup of water and extract 2 cups of juice from it.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;Mix all the masala powders with tamarind juice.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;Heat oil in a pan and add chana dal,mustard, fenugreek,asafoetida and curry leaves one by one.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;Add onion and garlic pieces.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;Then add the potato strips.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;Saute till golden colour.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;Then add the tamarind, masala mix and allow it to boil for five minutes.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
Chana dal - 1 cup&lt;br /&gt;
Moong dal -1/2 cup&lt;br /&gt;
Tomato - 2&lt;br /&gt;
Onion -1&lt;br /&gt;
Green chilies - 2&lt;br /&gt;
Garlic - 3 cloves&lt;br /&gt;
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tea spoon&lt;br /&gt;
Chili powder - 1/2 teas poon&lt;br /&gt;
Cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon&lt;br /&gt;
Curry leaves - 10&lt;br /&gt;
salt to taste &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Method :-&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Pressure cook the dals with chopped onion, tomato, turmeric and green chilies.&lt;br /&gt;
Slice the garlic cloves. &lt;br /&gt;
Heat oil in a pan .&lt;br /&gt;
Add cumin seeds and allow it to splutter.&lt;br /&gt;
Add garlic pieces and curry leaves.&lt;br /&gt;
Mix half&amp;nbsp; tea spoon chili powder, and immedietly pour the dal mix&amp;nbsp; in it.&lt;br /&gt;
Allow the dal mix to boil for three minutes.&lt;br /&gt;

King Fish (cleaned) - 1/2 kg&lt;br /&gt;

chilli powder - 2 teaspoons&lt;br /&gt;

turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
sambar powder- 1/2 teaspoon&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
salt to taste&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Oil for frying.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Method :-&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Mix all the powders and salt with little water and make a thick paste.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Apply the paste on the fish pieces and keep aside for 30 minutes.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Heat Oil in a pan, and add the marinated fish pieces.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Fry both the sides till fully cooked.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;Black chana (Soaked overnight) - 1 cup&lt;br /&gt;
Tomato - 1&lt;br /&gt;
Onion - 1&lt;br /&gt;
Green chillies - 2&lt;br /&gt;
Chilli powder - 1 teaspoon&lt;br /&gt;
Grated coconut -2 tablespoon&lt;br /&gt;
Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon&lt;br /&gt;
Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon&lt;br /&gt;
Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon&lt;br /&gt;
Ginger - 1/2 inch piece&lt;br /&gt;
Garlic - 3 cloves&lt;br /&gt;
Coriander leaves ( chopped) - 1 table spoon&lt;br /&gt;
Oil- 3 teaspoons&lt;br /&gt;
Salt to taste&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;u&gt;Method&lt;/u&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;u&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/u&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
1. Pressure cook the chana.&lt;br /&gt;
2.&amp;nbsp;Grind all the ingredients except chana with enough water to make a paste.&lt;br /&gt;
3. Heat oil in a pan and season with cinnamon and cloves.&lt;br /&gt;
4. Add the masala to the above seasoning and&amp;nbsp;saute&amp;nbsp;till the oil&amp;nbsp;separates.&lt;br /&gt;
5. Mix the cooked chana with this mixture.&lt;br /&gt;
6. Add 1/2 a cup of water and salt to taste and cook for 5 mins.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
Garlic (sliced)- 3 cloves&lt;br /&gt;

Chilli powder - 2 teaspoons&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
coriander powder - 4 teaspoons&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Grated coconut - 1 cup&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Tamarind - lemon size ball&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Salt - to taste&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Oil, mustard, fenugreek seeds and curry leaves for seasoning&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;b&gt;&lt;u&gt;Method :-&lt;/u&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Clean the fish pieces and marinate with salt and turmeric for 1/2 an hour.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Grind the coconut with cumin seeds and small onions.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Soak the tamarind, and extract 2 cups of juice from that.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Mix all the masala powders in it.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Heat oil and fry fenugreek seeds, mustard seeds and curry leaves. When the mustard seeds start to splutter, add the tamarind masala mix in it.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Add, tomato, green chillies and garlic slices.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
When it boils, add the fish and cook for 3 minutes.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Pour the coconut mix in it.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Cover the pan and cook until the oil separates.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

Saute for 2 minutes and add tomatto.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Add 1/2 spoon salt and add the eggs and stir for 3 minutes.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;After the eggs gets cooked add the parotta pieces and mix well.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Add the pepper powder.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with onion,cucumber raitha.&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/8234230724286924726-8062669369179255615?l=southindiansamaiyal.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
