The official website www.dge1.tn.nic.in is not responding at this moment due to heavy traffic. Students can also get their results at http://results.tamilnadueducation.net/.

Students need to key in their registration number and date of birth to access their results. The harcopy of the marks sheet can be collected from the respective schools.

The results of the Tamilnadu 10th class SSLC exams are expected to be declared on June 4, 2012.

Bollywood actress and Big Boss winner Shilpa Shetty gave birth to a healthy baby boy at the Hinduja Healthcare Surgical Hospital early morning on Monday, May 21, 2012.

Shilpa’s Husband Raj Kundra tweeted, “God has blessed us with a beautiful baby boy. Both mother and baby are fine. I am thrilled to bits.”

Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra have been married for three years, and this is the couple’s first baby.

“A big thank you to my wife @TheShilpaShetty for the bestest gift ever, DR Kiran Cohelo and all the staff at Hinduja Hospital,” Raj added.

For the first time this year, the EVS paper was application-based and students say they found it extremely tricky.

Carl Laurie, principal of Christ Church School in Byculla, said, “The EVS paper format was a little different this year. There were many application-based questions. So students are worried about the outcome.

Shruti Narkar, an ICSE student, said she has lost her appetite. “There are butterflies in my stomach as I await my results. I am expecting to score above 85%.”

The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board was formed in the year 1966 and has been conducting secondary and higher secondary examinations since then.

Since last year, the results of the SSLC exams will have the student’s photograph on the result sheet. 

Supplementary exams will be conducted in the month of June 2012 for the students who have failed.

Passing the SSLC exams (10th grade) in good marks helps the student get admission in the higher education.

The results of the 10th class of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) exams, which were supposed to be published on May 16, 2012, will now be published in the last week of May, according to Zee News.

More than 10 lakh students had appeared for the CBSE exams this year.

However there is no official announcement of the result dates. Once the results are published, they can be checked on the CBSE board’s official website – http://cbseresults.nic.in.

Students can also visit http://cbseresults2012.co.in to get the results. Another website, http://cbse.examresults.net, has a service by which you can get your results via e-mail once you are registered on the portal.

Zee News reported, “This is the first year where the CBSE is getting ready for a new idea it started last year called the ‘proficiency test’.

“The proposed test according to CBSE is to “measure an individual’s abilities and skills in a domain or subject to know how well he/she has learned, understood and internalised the related concepts and principles.”

“The initiative is supposed to help the Class 10 students to choose the right career path as it helps them to gauge their strength and weakness.

“Nonetheless, this is an optional test. It is conducted for English, mathematics, social sciences, science and Hindi. It comprises of multiple choice questions and they have the option of taking one or more subjects.”
