It is durable and it is a reel that you can buy for all ages. It is very easy to use all you have to do to cast it is push and hold the button down and cast it. To stop the line all you have to ldo is release the button and the line stops. It also is a very versatile reel that can be used to catch brim, bass, crapie, and even catfish. I know this because i personly have used it to catch catfish bass and brim since i was a small boy. So I think you will enjoy this reel no matter how old you are.

How to Hook a Plastic Worm

Step one is to push the point of the hook into the center of the worm and go about one-half of a inch in. Step two is to push the hook out of the worm about one-half of a inch behind the worms head. Step three is to pull the hook through until the eye of the hook vannishes into the worms head one-fourth of a inch. Then rotate the worm until the hook is pointing up. Step four is the last step. All you have to do is to put the point of the hook to the worm. Then hold the worm firmly and push forward on the hook until the point of the hook is inserted into the worm past the barb. Clark's Hill Lake

Bass fishing is good year round here but is great in the spring time when the blueback herring come here to spawn.

2. Lake Hartwell

It is good to use crankbaits in the creeks during the fall, and jigging spoons and bucktails are an excellent lure to use on the lower lake during the winter.

3. Lake Oconee
The docks on Lake Oconee hold fish year round and it is best to use plastic worms around them.

4. Lake Sinclair

Just downstream of Lake Oconee, this is a great lake in the winter due to the warm water discharge from a power plant. Carolina rigs are good to use year round on points.

5. Jackson Lake

Jackson Lake is one of the oldest lakes in Georgia. I suggest to try docks and points during the summer and backs of coves in the spring.

6. Lake Lanier

It's clear waters help make this lake good for bed fishing.

7. West Point Lake

During the wintertime it is good to find deep brush and jig a spoon around it.

8. Bartlett's Ferry
During the fall and spring try boat docks and use plastics and crankbaits. Also topwater lures are good to use around 9 months of the year there.

9. Lake Eufaula

Fish topwater from the late winter time to the late spring time.
10. Fishermen love the south this time of year. While there is still snow and ice up north, azaleas are blooming and fish are biting in south Georgia. Whether you like bass, crappie, or catfish, the south is where you want to be in mid to late March especially south Georgia. Georgia has at least 28 public lakes, rivers, and other fishing holes. We hold the world record on largemouth bass which is probably the most sought after fish in the U.S. So if you are ready for a trip down south to warmer climates where the fishing is great, grab your gear and come on down!

Casting, Flipping, and Pitching Jigs

These are baits you use in deep water around structure. You can get the length anywhere from 8 feet to 14 feet. For the larger models you can get a motor, but for the smaller models all you need is a paddle. The smaller versions are easier to handle with a paddle. All the boats are two person models. The reel has a big black button the you push to release the line so that when you cast your lure goes out to. The handle has two nobs on it so you can grip it easier. It also comes with a pretty good rod. Also you can uses to brim or bass fish. And just to sum it all up you do not have to worry bout putting line on it because it comes with line already on it.

Buzzbaits and Spinnerbaits( A bass's worst nightmare)

This is Fishing Fanatic 3 here with some tips for anglers who love pond fishing. I am from the south so fishing in ponds is my life.

Buzzbaits and Spinnerbaits are a big part of pond fishing. It doesn't matter what pond you are in, if the bass are feeding they will bite. Some of my personal favorites come from Strike Zone and Booyah.

Buzzbaits and Spinnerbaits are reaction baits. They can imitate the bait fish, or they can aggravate the fish so much they just have to bite it. The skirts are used to resemble any bait fish that is in the waters you are fishing. The blades are used to aggravate the fish by making different vibrations through the water as you retrieve it. The faster you retrieve it the more vibrations you will make.
When fishing in a pond with a spinnerbait you need to focus around deeper water and cover.
You can fish around trees and heavy grass. While fishing with a buzzbait you need to stay in shallow water. A buzzbait will sometimes bring the fish out of the deeper water.

tag: Buzzbaits, Spinnerbaits, Cover

Pond Building Facts

    By: South Georgia Fisher

When you are building a pond you need to know these simple facts. The first theng you need to know is that the water must be at least eight feet deep. The second thing is the water shoreline must be protected from livestock unless the pond is over five acres. The last thing is the dam must be constructed for permanency and water tightness, and the drainage area should be adequate but not excessive fo water storage.

Best Plastic Worms For A Pond To Me

By: South Georgia Fisher

When ever I go fishing in my pond and i want to use a Plastic worm I always like to use two kinds of Culprit worms. They both work really good in my ponds and in most of the ponds I fish in. I alway get the 7 inch leanth. I know some people say "the bigger the lure the bigger the fish" I think that is sometimes true, but not always. I have cought pleany of huge largemouth bass with smaller lures.
