Bullying is a very serious epidemic in this country and something I definitely had to deal with growing up in a lower middle class family. I used humor, wit, and occasionally had to fight to deal with it, but here is a positive alternative. I love the confidence and self respect that martial arts teaches. Luckily, My experience in the Marines not only taught me self defense, but opened my eyes up to all this world has to offer. I learned you can be whomever you want to be. There's life outside of this town. People don't care who you were or where you come from. Good people come from all walks of life. I wish I had learned that at a younger age. I would encourage all parents to instill acceptance for others and rid their children of arrogant attitudes. This small town all too often separates the rich from the poor. I don't care who you are or where you come from, you're no better than anyone else. Teach your children the same. Money, religion, race, gender and sexual orientation should not come into play into how you treat another human being. Think about your actions and what you're teaching your children. Kind words go a long way. Remember, we have no control over where we come from, but we can control where we are headed. And I hope, as a nation, we can grow together towards a more tolerant future. I love all my friends and family on here. Hopefully you take this to heart and help mold our children to be better people.

I had the honor of making a few rough Youtube vids for him, as well as being on set while this one was filmed. I'm so proud to see a friend on his way up. First and foremost, this is why I love Facebook. A friend's post about this documentary intrigued me enough to research it some and suddenly my average boring day became awesome. The Wild And Wonderful Whites Of West Virginia is a documentary about the White family of Boone County, West Virginia. These hell raisin, white trash, hillbillies are the real life version of The Squidbillies. I have yet to see anymore than just a trailer for the film, so here it is, I'm sure you'll be as stunned, intrigued, and as eager for more as I am.

I'd say that qualifies as a must see.

First and foremost, if you don't watch Tosh.0, you're missing out. It's easily the funniest show on television. On last night's episode, Tosh gave a rapper knownas Optimo 55 Souf a web redemption. Optimo had the following video where he was dancing in traffic to look gangsta. It didn't turn out so well for him:

Cause hey, what could go wrong dancing in traffic? Ya jackwagon! Well, he said he was shooting a video for his song I'm Gipper. Gipper is his ebonics word that means chipper but is suppose to sound more krunk. So Tosh helped him make a real video:

I love dawgs, but I definitely love some more than others. My friends Patti and Aaron have one of the most awesome dogs ever. His name is Tater and he's the very definition of a damn good dawg. Obedient, great temperament, good with other dawgs, and above all else loyal and loving. He ain't some fancy, papered up, pure bred dawg; he's a first class mutt and was free to a good home. And if you know his owners, and us people who love him, you'd know that's why he fits right in amongst us. One of my favorite things Tater does is let himself in from outside and then he closes the friggin door:

I came across this pic over at The Chive this morning, and it had me in tears. It's a reference to this classic video from SNL featuring Andy Samberg and Justin Timberlake:
