I'm Back and missing everyone

2020-12-07T22:40:00.000-05:00

Since I have last posted so much has changed in my life. When I was here posting and telling how things were going I decided I wanted to get out of the house and get a part-time job. SO I started work at Speedway working just a few days a week and before I knew it I was working 40+ hours a week. After 1 year and 5 months I was promoted to Assistant Manager

Behind CLosed Doors Review

I received #BehindClosedDoors to review and give my thoughts on the book. Because this was an advanced copy it had some of the reviews from

8 Simple Tools for Raising Great Kids

2016-04-18T17:46:00.002-04:00

My Thoughts: When I saw that this book was a prospect for review, I jumped on the opportunity. Not only because it sounds like it would be a great tool in my toolbox of parenting but also because at that very moment I was having trouble with my daughter that just turned 12. So of course I said Yes I would love to read the book and do a review.

Life with an Addict

2016-03-15T20:26:00.001-04:00

Can you recognize an addict on the street? My guess is probably not, I know because it is like trying to judge if a man is a cheater or a woman is an abusive Mother, it is just something you can NOT look at someone and know. As a community, or nation we tend to look at people and judge them, but the truth is you can't look at people and tell if they are

War on Drugs and YOU

2016-03-10T13:25:00.000-05:00

I am sure that in your community you have heard any Law Enforcement Officer referring to the term "War on Drugs", well do you know how this affects you, your family, or even your community? I have watched a few things trend in and out, some drugs are more popular than others for a moment and then another takes over. Have you noticed this trend in your area?

Keeping Your Vessel Elevated with High-Quality Fixtures

2016-01-31T19:35:00.000-05:00

Boat owners know that proper boat care often calls for keeping the vessel's bottom off the ground. If the boat is allowed to sit on damp or loose soil, the bottom could corrode and become damaged, making the boat unsafe to take out onto the water until it is fixed. When you want to keep your own boat off the ground in your garage or elsewhere, you can do so by investing in equipment like

2016-01-21T16:48:00.000-05:00

Here in the Eastern part of North Carolina where I live, we don't get much snow or any winter weather threats for that matter. When we do it is almost ALWAYS ICE, not much is snow and if we do get snow it is generally a snow, ice, sleet, and freezing rain mix. What kind of winter do you have where you are from? How do you prepare for the threat of the storms? Sometimes it takes

Powerball 1-13-16

2016-01-12T20:21:00.000-05:00

Do you play the powerball? I never have before but last Saturday night I gave my husband $5.00 and told him to buy us a ticket or 2. So he came home with 2 tickets, and of curse as we all know, I did NOT win. At least not at first glance, no I didn't win thousands, hundreds, but I did win. We had one ticket that 13 as the powerball, and little did I know that, that was all

2016-01-11T03:00:00.000-05:00

I look around and I see all the little Ladies that look like they are about to pop any day now, and I ask myself at what age is it too old to have another baby? HCF (happy, Calm, Focused) Review

2016-01-03T09:03:00.000-05:00

The advantage HCF® Happy, Calm & Focused® has over other brain supplements is simple. Typical brain supplements and memory nutrients usually rely on high-dose "50-ingredients-in-one" glorified multi-vitamins or just herbs to artificially stimulate or inhibit your brain’s "feel good" neurotransmitter levels. HCF supports feeding your brain’s own neurotransmitters with the
