CBd Benefits and Why I mix it into my C60 Oils

CBd aka Cannabidiol is one of the cannabinoids found in marijuana and hemp. CBd has recently been the subject of ongoing research due to its many medical applications, but also for the fact that CBd is non-psychoactive (meaning that it won’t get you high)

And while getting CBd is now legal nationwide with few exceptions, getting your CBd mixed in with your favorite Carbon 60 blend is more problematic,

My favorite Carbon 60 is blended with Flaxseed oil, I take 1 bottle of FlaxC60 and mix in 1 gram of CBd isolate crystal from CannabidiolLife.com,

Step One I warm my bottle of FlaxC60 in hot water for 1 min,

Step Two I put 1 gram of Cannabinol Life CDd isolate crystal into the now warm FlaxC60 bottle.

Step Three I shake the FlaxC60 Bottle vigorously until all of the CBd crystals disappear into the Carbon 60 in flaxseed oil blend

Step Four I refrigerate this now blended bottle of CBd, Carbon 60 & Flaxseed oil,

Step Five I take 1 dropperful of FlaxC60+CBd every morning with a large glass of water, and then eat an apple an hour later.

As someone who gets called to install all manner of various and sundry smart home devices, from cameras to thermostats to speakers and televisions, and then gets to see how they work in real world situations with normal users.

This is my short list of all of those devices I would install in my smart home if I were you. YMMV!

Sitting With My Dad David Gordon McClure Jr.

Sitting with my dad, watching NCIS as he naps, asking him for help with the remote control, telling him he can't go anywhere as all the technology will fall apart. Saying sorry for not spending more time with him, hearing him say sorry for not being very much fun, watching attempted coups on three screens, and discussing how the medium has changed and how everything has remained the same. Dad lamenting that he never got a hole in one, or a royal flush, or won the lottery, I ask if he should have played more poker and golf. I love you Dad.

D. Gordon McClure Jr. Celebration of a Life, Well Lived

Few days after the above video my beloved father Gordon McClure made his transition July 23 at 12:07pm, he will be missed by all who knew him. I will remember him for his can do attitude, the fact that me never complained about anything or anyone and in my entire life I never saw him lose his shit. Father, You were an inspiration and I hope to someday be half the man you were.

I took a step back from social media following his death to make sure I was spending my life on all the right things.

I share a complete love of technology with my Dad, and in many ways it connected us across great distances. In the weeks that have followed his death I have had numerous occasions where I have been reading something and thought how much he would be interested in this or that,

In 1925, Ole Hanson put some of his wealth to work by purchasing a 2,000-acre tract at the southern tip of Orange County, California. Hanson believed that the area's pleasant climate, beautiful beaches and fertile soil would serve as a haven to Californians who were tired of urban life. He named the city San Clemente after neighboring San Clemente Island, southernmost of California's Channel Islands.

Hanson envisioned his new project as a Spanish-style coastal resort town. He proclaimed, "I have a clean canvas and I am determined to paint a clean picture. Think of it — a canvas five miles long and one and one-half miles wide!"

Take a little inspiration, a little experimentation, mix in a happy little inconvenience, season to perfection, cook until done, then serve with friends. This is my review of Savannah Chop House located in Laguna Niguel.

When we arrived we were greeted professionally and whisked off to the balcony overlooking the Pacific ocean and the nights sunset, great spot, nice little breeze blowing. Feeling relaxed and ready to go I was immediately handed a Blood Orange Mimosa, on my first sip I notice the roasted pepper they mentioned, yes tonight would have a twist.

As the knowledgeable staff passed around plates of these very yummy appetizers the social folks that we are started hitting our social media channels with a passion. I am positive that this night convinced more than one friend to go check out the new & improved Savannah Chop House, in an effort to give credit where credit is due, I must introduce at this time my new favorite local Chef, who is inspired by music when he creates his dishes.

Stuffed Zucchini - You Want This

Chef Chris Tzorin (As Seen On Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen, & Guys Grocery Games) came up with this delicious amuse bouche by a happy little inconvenience, no zucchini blossoms to stuff due to California's drought. Not to be deterred he cut up generous portions of fresh zucchini and stuffed them with the filling he would regularly use in the blossoms. This dish will be on the menu, it's that good, you want this, you really want this. Unami in a sushi kind of way... The food kept coming with twists and turns that will delight the foodie in you.

Yet another example of social media as a place to connect with your core.

Adam asked me if I had seen the Ride Your Life commercial from last year, yes I had and yes I thought is was pretty boss, very creative and I remember starting to notice Nissan Altimas after that campaign.

Next Adam asked if I wanted to play, and that if I did I needed to send him a video of myself on why I should go on the 2015 Nissan Ride Of Your Life. Lucky for me we are a car family, I even drove a perfect little blue racecar of a 280z last century, my Dad being a Vette guy, who is also crazy enough to let me drive. So here is the vid of me obeying all traffic laws of my state...

So on April 7 my Dad and I drove up to the Santa Anita mall in Arcadia California, right next door to the Historic Santa Anita Racetrack to meet Adam and his buddies,

I arrived a little late because of the traffic from San Clemente to Arcadia, parked and found Adam, was asked to leave my DSLr at the door and to embargo anything I do take until May. Ok this is not my normal social media experience, Groups like LavaCon, The Pageant of the Masters & Knotts Berry Farm invite us to events so that we will Tweet and Instagram and Blog about it. I almost didn't know how to act! So I just chilled and started interviewing the folks around me, asking how they were found, twitter? facebook? everyone had a different story and everyone was very friendly and excited. On arrival we were all given hang tags with a number, so we were trying to guess what was going to happen as Adam walked us to the center of the Santa Anita Mall, there was already a crowd when we arrived and a countdown taking place on a big box in front of us. 15 min until the nissan ride of your life...

We knew when, we did not know what, for the next few minutes we all chatted together, #10 asked if I wanted to exchange tags, but with my youngest daughter Kate being 4, I did not want to give it up, and loose my good fortune. 10 min untill the nissan ride of your life...

Ok now I am starting to get a little nervous, this is looking like a big deal here, what have I gotten myself into this time!

and one by one we took turns pushing the red button on a pedestal in front of the huge countdown display, one by one They were asked in a perfect radio voice, Press to unlock the NISSAN RIDE OF YOUR LIFE , and one by one they were greeted with, ACCESS DENIED, ACCESS DENIED, ACCESS DENIED!

Then is was my turn, by this time there must be 300 people standing around watching the shenanigans,

So I pushed this button...

ACCESS GRANTED!

The "Display" in front of us turns into a big glass case holding a Nissan Altima, next thing I know I am being whisked away into the box and placed into the car with my professional racecar driver for the day Doriana Richman of LA MOTORSPORTS and as the crowd cheers on we thread our way out of the mall and on to the streets of Los Angeles with a full police escort no less! I was is shock and awe and it took Doriana prodding me a bit to get me talking about the car. What I wanted to know was were were we going? Were we going to start drifting thru the city like those crazy red bull commercials?

In no time we found ourselves pulling into the Irwindale Speedway, and I knew this was about to get real, and I was READY TO GO!

We pulled onto the track, were given helmets and came out with a bang thru a big cloud of smoke and a large scream from me as we burned rubber out onto the track! After about our third lap, and my heart had stopped pounding, I noticed the 4 Nissan Altimas from last years Ride of your life add taking to the track. Were we going to race with friends? Yes we were! We were going to race with friends!!! And in an amazing demonstration of skill and expertise Doriana and the rest of the Altimas proceed to race around the track in a blue angels-esq synchronized driving exhibition inches of each bumper of our Altima!

I screamed so hard I lost most of my voice on the track...

But wait, theres more! after coming back into the winners circle to kick the tires and take a breath, they asked me if I wanted to drive.. HECK YES!! so they strapped me back in and sent me back out to rip around the track on my own! Ok there is nothing like flooring it and not having to look in the rearview to be sure no lights are blicking with your name on them, and no I did not look down at the speedometer, I floored it and ran!

It was all over way too fast, and it is something I will never forget...

After they were done with their shoot I started mine, knowing that the Irwindale Raceway is scheduled to be demolished to make way for yet another outlet mall, like we need another outlet mall, I asked everyone to stay still as I made my photosphere... sorry about cutting you in half guy!
