So, it’s been a while since I posted a blog post here.

Been focused on the agency a lot so not a lot of free time to create content.

That being said, I made a decision just before Christmas in 2023 that I wanted to create a podcast and it was going to be called Bad Decisions with Jim Banks.

I put a lot of thought and preparation into it, and used Notion heavily to guide the setup, from the ideation, creation, production, editing, promotion.

I’m hoping that in time it will become one of the most listened to and downloaded digital marketing podcast globally.

It exists to highlight some of the leading digital marketing experts and I include myself in that group and share the bad decisions they have made and how it drove them to succeed moving forward.

Like anything you undertake, the more you practise, the better you get.

My first few guests were gracious to spare their time to be on the podcast, but as each guest comes on the interview process gets easier, the editing takes less time and the promotional work is more focused and driven by outcome.

I take my hat off to successful podcasters, they make the craft look so easy, but it has been a really steep learning curve, but one I have totally loved going on and continue to be on.
