Montreal-based artist Zine is introducing GUERS, a stylized cartoon beaver collectible that kicks off with the first series titled The Colony. Rather than creating a brand new character for every release, Zine wanted to build around one core mascot that could be reimagined through different colorways over time. Think of that familiar collector rhythm where one strong character becomes the canvas, and each edition adds a new layer to the story. For GUERS, that character is a rounded, wide-eyed beaver with buck teeth, white glove-like hands, a soft body shape, and a whole lot of shelf presence.
