Here's what you'll need:

3 long pipe cleaners (12 inches or more)
Large beads (be sure the pipe cleaners will be able to fit though them)

Here's how to make it!

Begin by twisting two pipe cleaners in the center to form an x shape.
Add the third pipe cleaner and twist into the center as well.
Add beads to the first strand, leaving about a half inch to an inch un-beaded.
Bend strand downward toward the center of the flower and twist it with the strand next to it to secure--first petal done!
Repeat to create all 6 petals.
Shape up as needed and use it how you like!

How To Knit A Twist Top Headband + Video Tutorial

Looking for a super cute and easy as pie knitting project? Look no further than this adorable twist top headband! Basic knit stitches are worked into a simple rectangle, then cleverly seamed with just a few stitches to give it the fun twist at the top. Fun to wear and fun to make for a quick gift too!

Here's what you'll need:

64 yards of super bulky/#6 yarn (I used Hometown by Lion Brand in "Key Largo Tweed")
US 13 9.0 mm straight knitting needles
Tape measure
Tapestry needle
Scissors

Sizing:

4 inches wide
20 inch circumference

Here's how to make it!

Cast on 10 stitches.
Row 1: Knit all stitches.
Repeat row 1 for about 20 inches (or what fits best for you).
Bind off all stitches, leaving a long tail for seaming.
To seam the headband, bring the two ends together and fold them both in half to make a "c" shape with each ends. Bring them together, interlocking them. Sew all layers of the "sandwich" using the tail. Secure with a strong knot and weave in any ends.
Turn headband right side out and straighten and neaten it up.
Now it's ready to wear!

These bunny egg hats are so fun to knit up. Use them to decorate some eggs in a fun and silly way!

Here's what you'll need:

For each egg, several yards of #6/super bulky yarn. For extra squish, I used a chenille style yarn in that weight. Yarn shown in the eggs in the pictures is Honey Bunny by Hobbii in Candy Floss and Lilac colorways.
US 10 6.0 mm straight knitting needles
Ribbon (I used narrow matching satin ribbon)
Tapestry needle
Scissors

Sizing:

3.5 inches tall
2.5 inches wide
6.5 inch circumference

Here's how to make it!

Begin with the hat part,
Cast on 3 stitches.
Row 1: Knit all stitches.
Row 2: Purl all stitches.
Row 3: KFB (knit into the front and back of the stitch) in each stitch across.
Row 4: Purl all stitches.
Row 5: KFB in each stitch across.
Row 6: Purl all stitches.
Row 7: KFB in each stitch across.
Row 8: Purl all stitches.
Bind off all stitches, leaving a tail for seaming.
Seam up the hat using the whip stitch, then weave in any ends that remain.
Let's make some ears next (you'll make two),
Cast on 3 stitches.
Row 1: Knit all stitches.
Row 2: Purl all stitches.
Row 3: Knit one stitch, then KFB the next stitch, then knit the last stitch.
Purl all stitches.
Bind off all stitches, leaving a tail to sew the ear on later.
Make the second ear.
Sew both ears onto the hat.
Weave in any ends that remain.
If you want, you can also glue a bow to the base on one ear.

Here's what you'll need:

7.5 inch circumference

Here's how to make it!

Cast on 6 stitches.
Row 1: KFB in each stitch across. (KFB=knit into the front and back of each stitch)
Row 2: Purl all stitches.
Row 3: KFB each stitch across.
Row 4: Purl all stitches.
Row 5: Knit all stitches.
Row 6: Purl all stitches.
Row 7: Knit all stitches.
Row 8: Purl all stitches.
Row 9: Knit all stitches.
Row 10: Purl all stitches.
Row 11: *K1, k2tog across from * to end.
Row 12: Purl all stitches.
Row 13: *k2tog across from * to end.
Bind off all stitches, leaving a long tail for seaming.
Turn the egg inside out and whip stitch up the side of the egg, leaving an opening at the top for stuffing.
Stuff the egg with filling of your choice.
Seam the egg closed and weave in any ends.
Fluff and shape the egg as needed.

How To Make A Loom Flower + Video Tutorial

Loom flowers are so easy and fun to make! They only require a little bit of yarn and can be used to make hair accessories, garlands and lots more!

Here's what you'll need:

Worsted weight (or similar) yarn in at least two colors
Small round loom (sometimes called a flower loom or bloom loom)
Loom tool
Yarn needle
Scissors

Here's how to make it!

Tie yarn onto the side peg of the loom.
Wrap yarn around pegs, making figure 8 shapes all around.
For a fuller flower, try going around 2 or more times (flowers shown in pictures are three full turns around the loom).
Tie ends together (tie tail from where you left off to the tail that's ties to the aide peg).
With second color yarn, thread the yarn needle with a piece of yarn about 18-24 inches long.
Sew the center, crossing over in between each petal all the way around the flower.
Tie yarn on the back of the flower.
Trim all tails or weave them in using the yarn needle.

45 inches long (work more rows to make it longer if you like
8 inches wide (you can easily increase or decrease the number of stitches cast on to change the width)

Here's how to make it!

Cast on 18 stitches.
Row 1: Knit all stitches.
Repeat row 1 until scarf is 45 inches long or desired length.
Bind off all stitches.

How To Make An Origami Heart + Video Tutorial

Here's what you'll need:

1 sheet of construction paper (any color you like)
Scissors
Pencil

Here's how to make it!

Begin with a square piece of paper (trim if needed to get this shape).
Fold in half one way.
Fold in half the other way.
You'll now have an "X"
Turn so your square is a diamond shape.
Bring one point to the center and crease.
Bring the opposite point to the flat edge directly across and crease.
Fold one side up so that the bottom edge lines up with the center crease.
Repeat for the other side.
Flip the heart over and fold down the two top points so that the point meets the horizontal fold.
Done! Add a message to the inside or string them up to be a garland!

Here's what you'll need:

Two half sheets of two different colors of construction paper
Scissors
Pencil

Here's how to make it!

Start with two half sheets of construction paper in two different colors.
Stack the two papers together.
Lightly draw a rounded top and cut out the shape.
Be sure there's no paper hanging over, if so give it a little trim.
Turn one sheet of paper so that it is heart shaped.
Lightly draw a line along the paper line where the two papers overlap.
Flip the heart over and draw a second line along the paper line where the two papers overlap.
Cut two lines from the bottom straight up to the line you drew. Repeat for the other shape. You now have two papers with rounded tops and a fringe bottom.
Turn the two papers back so that they form a heart and weave the strips together as shown.
Makes a cute Valentine! Happy crafting!

Here's how to make it!

Cut a strip of construction paper, about an inch or two wide.
Fold the strip into an accordion shape.
Keeping the accordion folded, lightly sketch a heart onto the top of the accordion.
Cut the heart out, keeping the side paper folds intact.
Open your chain and voila! Paper heart chain!

How To Crochet A Super Easy Dishcloth + Video Tutorial

Want to jump into crochet with an easy project? A dishcloth makes a wonderful first project because it is small, portable, and uses very small amounts of yarn too! Check out the full video tutorial where I guide you through the entire project step by step and check out the instructions below too if you'd like to follow along that way too. Try different colors or stripy yarn for endless possibilities!

Here's what you'll need:

Cotton dishcloth yarn
6.0 "J" crochet hook
Tapestry/yarn needle
Scissors

Here's how to make it!

Note: if you've never crocheted before, be sure to watch the video above!
Dishcloth in the photos measures 6 inches by 6 inches.
I did four rows of each color before switching.
Chain 20 (there's no special stitch count for this dishcloth, fell free to change number of chains as needed)
Row 1: In the 3rd chain from the hook, work a half double crochet (hdc)
Work a hdc in each chain across.
Row 2: Chain 2 and turn.
Work a hdc into the first stitch and in each stitch across.
Repeat row 2 until the dishcloth has the same width and height.
If you'd like add a hanging loop, when you finish the last stitch of the last row, chain 8, when work a slip stitch into the same stitch.
Fasten off and weave in any ends that remain.

How To Make A Halloween Pom Pom Headband + Video Tutorial

Be the queen of Halloween with this super cute and easy Halloween Pom Pom Headband! All you need is a bit of yarn and an old headband. This is super cute to whip up for a party or to wear trick or treating too!

Here's what you'll need!

Yarn (I used #4 worsted weight acrylic yarn in orange, black, green, and purple)
Headband
Scissors

Here's how to make it!

Cut a piece of yarn about 12 inches long.
Wrap yarn about 100 times around your hand.
Tie tightly in the center of the "bundle" and cut all loops, keeping the two ends long (to tie onto the headband later).
Trim ends to give your pom pom a "hair cut" until the pompom is more compact and neat looking.
Tie onto headband.
Repeat three more times so you have a pom pom of each color.
Trim ends flush with the pom pom and your headband is ready to wear!

Here's what you'll need:

Plastic or paper drinking straws-the more colorful variety the better!
Yarn-size medium or thinner (you can also use ribbon, twine, or embroidery floss too!
Scissors
Optional: yarn needle or tape to wrap around tip on yarn to make it sturdier for threading the beads onto the yarn.

Here's how to make it!

Cut a long piece of yarn, a little bigger than you'll think you will need to account for the knot and trimming the ends.
Cut straws into one inch segments (no need to be exact!)
Thread beads onto yarn.
Tie a secure knot.

How To Make A 3D Paper Pumpkin + Video Tutorial

Make a super cute 3D pumpkin! Fun and easy to make and a perfect craft for Halloween parties too!

Here's what you'll need:

Orange construction paper
Green construction paper
Scissors
Hole punch
2 Brad fasteners per pumpkin

Here's how to make it!

Cut 8 equal strips on orange construction paper (you can fold in half then in half again, then one more time for cutting guidelines if needed)
Cut a small tab with the green paper for the stem.
Stack all orange strips together and punch a hole at either end.
Punch a hole at the top of the green stem.
Place a brad through the holes at one end, then repeat for the other end, this time adding the stem too.
Fan out the strips into a circular pumpkin shape as shown.
Fold the stem upward to make it stand straight up as shown.
If you like, you can add a face on your pumpkin or other decorations

Here's what you'll need:

193 yards of super bulky yarn (#6 weight)
10.0 mm crochet hook
Tapestry needle
Scissors
Tapestry needle

Sizing:

64 inches long (work more rows to make it longer if you like
8 inches wide (make your starting chain longer or shorter to change the width)

Here's how to make it!

Chain 16
In the 4th chain from the hook, work a double crochet.
Work a double crochet in each chain after that.
To begin a new row, chain three (counts as the first double crochet of the row) and turn the scarf over.
Work a double crochet in the next stitch and in each stitch across the row.
Repeat steps 4 and 5 until your scarf is as long as you like!
When you're finished, fasten off and weave the ends in with a tapestry needle.

Here's what you'll need:

Embroidery floss in colors of your choice
Tape or clip to secure floss as you work
Scissors
Small needle
Button

Here's how to make it!

Cut embroidery floss to about 2-3 feet long (all strands).
Fold in half to make a loop at the top. Tie a knot towards the top near the loop, allowing a finger to fit into the loop. Tape down (or loop it onto something) right above the knot.
Grab all strands of one of the colors and swing it off to the right. Keep the rest of the colors straight down. With the floss to the right, make a sort of backwards number four shape. Tuck the ends up under the loop you've created and snug it up to tighten.
When you're ready to switch colors, let the previous color hang straight now. Grab the new color and repeat. Switch colors as often as you like, more often for narrower stripes, less often for thicker stripes.
Continue for as long as you need your bracelet to be, you might want to wrap it around your wrist to get an idea before you finish.
When it is as long as you want, tie a secure knot on the bottom, then tie two ends together.
Using a small needle, thread the button onto the bracelet using the tails at the bottom of the knot. Tie securely.
Trim all floss tail ends and it is ready to wear!
