Remember a few days ago I got to accessorize my spring dress on my own? My human finally edited the video together and it’s up!

What’s fun is you get to see me actually picking out the accessories, and it definitely wasn’t random!

If you’ve seen my monthly video compilation, you know how busy I am! But I do take an occasional afternoon off. So I thought I’d show you what I do on my down time.

The only problem is that when I went out front for some relaxing moments, my human just had to take a few photos of me, of course.

The people across the street were throwing some sort of afternoon party, so eventually we decided to go out back instead.

It was still hopping out back, but at least it was kitties! The peach kitty was there, and so was his mom. She almost blends in with the hill, and my human didn’t even see her until she downloaded the photo.

Even the peach kitty’s sister was around! She left when my human and I went outside, though.

So the peach kitty and I visited for a while.

And we shared some treats. (And no, I did not get whapped this time!)

Our neighbor started calling all the feral cats for dinner and we wound up being abandoned! I guess you can’t compete with dinner. But it was still a nice afternoon off.

For a month that usually doesn’t have a lot going on, May was surprisingly busy and fun!

I was the featured model for a cat photography workshop. That was quite an adventure and I had a great time meeting all the students.

I got to model some new outfits. And there are lots more to go in that big bag of Ross Dress for Less dresses!

And of course I had lots of visits with the peach kitty.

It’s time for outtakes! And I have some good ones to share this week! (Good, as in really bad!)

I’m glad I got to visit the poll workers…but man, I would never want to run for office!

Haven’t you ever wanted to make a funny face while someone was intently trying to get a good photo of you?

I hate when she catches me before I’m ready.

Even the peach kitty will stick his tongue out at my human occasionally!

It was a pretty day so I went out to visit with the peach kitty.

He was already around, so we didn’t even have to wait for him.

Of course he was ready for treats.

When he went over to the bridge my human thought she could get some nice photos of the two of us there. The light was just perfect for photos.

I was ready! Someone else was not.

He looked more like a photo bomber than a willing participant in a photo session.

He was just useless so my human took some photos of me solo here instead.

It was nice not to wonder what was going on behind me.

We even got in a good profile shot.

Eventually he got bored and left so it was time for us to go inside.

When the weather warms up, I get the zoomies! And I’ve been really active this week! So my human thought she’d help me burn off my energy with some playtime. And of course shoot a video.

The moment she pulled out the box and set up the camera, I was ready to go!

I had so much fun! It was nonstop. She just kept the camera running the whole time and edited it down to the good parts later.

We had even more fun about halfway through…but you’ll have to watch the video to see.

My human pulled out another dress from my big bag of Ross outfits! And since it’s a sun dress, I’m modeling it outside in the front yard.

It’s another dress that has a tag with my name on it! You may recall, one of the previous dresses had the same tag.

Even better, my human said I could pick out my own accessories! Although this pile looks pretty random.

But first, here’s the dress on me without any accessories. It’s already pretty cute!

Now, here are my neck wear choices.

I picked out these colorful beads! You saw them last week, and I thought a repeat was in order. Someone on social media mentioned that maybe I should put the tassel in the back, so that’s what I did.

Here are my hat choices. I bet you can guess what I chose without even looking.

The crown of course! What, you don’t think it goes with a sun dress? Well, you don’t have to wear a crown with yours then.

My human did not agree with my choices. She said if it was up to her, this is what she would have picked. What do you think? I still say my choices are better. Let me know your thoughts in the comments.

We’ve had some really nice days — warm and not too hot. So my human took me out to the backyard for a late afternoon portrait session. This part of the yard is a great spot to take photos this time of day. Here are some of the best photos. I don’t think you need any secret captions, so I haven’t added any!

We also went down a level for some more photos by the iron railing.

Our state is having a primary election, and this year it is quite a big deal.

The ballot is huge, and a whole page and a half is devoted to candidates for governor. But that’s not the the important part. I had a job to do while my human dropped off her ballot — I came along to offer stress relief to the poll workers.

I don’t get to do that every election. Sometimes the polling places aren’t pet friendly. But if they are, I come along.

Even though I’m not officially on therapy cat business and don’t get to wear my vest, I did wear a bow tie.

Since we went on a Sunday, it was quiet and the poll workers were able to visit with me and even take photos. They really enjoyed seeing me! It was a nice outing. You can see the video below.

I think I may have mentioned that I wound up with no good photos of me wearing these sunglasses (although you can see them in the video). Here’s a sample of why it worked out that way.

It’s actually kind of difficult to get decent photos of me and the peach kitty together. Because one of us is not very good at posing.

I don’t remember what we were looking at, but the peach kitty was clearly surprised by it.

Whenever we finish my therapy cat visits, it’s treat time! Which explains why there are so many tongue out photos when I do them.

Sometimes my human gets a little trigger happy with the iPhone when she’s taking photos and winds up taking a photo at exactly the wrong time.
