It’s National Fried Chicken Day! And my human brought home some fried chicken I hadn’t tried before.

I couldn’t wait to come down the stairs and try it out!

It turned out to be from a place called Krispy Krunchy Chicken. It’s a chain that sells chicken in gas stations. I was beginning to wonder how low she had stooped but she said the reviews were really good. It was too late to run to KFC, so I went with it.

It turned out to be pretty good! I even did some tricks for it. You can see in the video below.

I really love box play, so you’ll see lots of that, especially since we had International Box Day mid-month.

And of course there’s my Lamb Chop bunny outfit.

I got to choose what I wanted to wear in a couple of videos. My human did not approve of my choice of headwear in this one.

And unless you follow me on Instagram or TikTok, you probably didn’t see my Pride Month video until now. My human wasn’t sure what to do or say for it until the last day of June, so we finished it just under the wire. So I’m sharing it in the compilation now.

It’ll be a while before I outdo last week’s outtakes, but some of these try hard to reach those epic proportions.

My one wish is to get my paws on a camera someday and take a photo of my human making a face like this.

I swear, sometimes I think the peach kitty is channeling Binga with his photo bombs.

My human shot video during my visit with the peach kitty the other day, but she wasn’t sure what to do with it.

I mean, other than him jumping on the bridge, we didn’t do a whole lot.

But my human looked at the clips and realized that with the right music track, it might be nice. And she found it! Let me know what you think.

I haven’t done a throwback post in a long time! So I thought I’d look back at July 2015, and see how different things were then. It seems like several lifetimes ago now.

I was just a few months past my first birthday, and I was already happily modeling dresses! Back then, I only had a handful of them.

Somehow it seems like the products I got to try out were better back then. Here I am, sampling different jars of catnip and valerian.

I don’t chew up bags of treats anymore like I used to! But that’s possibly because my human keeps them shut away in a cabinet now.

We had an awesome catnip garden out back for a long time. Years later, it met a sad fate. It got attacked by bugs and never had a second chance at life because the peach kitty kept destroying the young plants.

I wasn’t a therapy cat yet, and my human was finding different ways to get me out of the house so I’d learn to be comfortable everywhere. That included accompanying Binga on veterinary checkups. She was about 14-1/2 at the time.

I went out for a while, and of course…

the peach kitty came by! Looking a bit smug.

Sometimes he’s such a show off! The bridge has steps he can totally use.

But instead he just has to leap up from the side.

I think he expected me to be impressed. And true, it would be kind of difficult to do that when I’m attached to a leash.

In fact he decided to do it again.

Once again he made sure I was looking…

and he promptly got tangled in my leash.

He finally got bored of showing off so we both got some treats before I went back inside.

I’m always happy when I have a shopping day! My human divides most of our shopping between two local stores because we support small businesses. The only problem with this one is it is next door to an auto parts store, so there is always someone tinkering with their car next to us.

I hadn’t been there in a few weeks, so it was nice to browse!

They had lots of new scratchers in, although my human said we really don’t need any more.

Can you believe they had the Yeowww! catnip toys out on display like this? It took a lot of effort from my human to keep me from burying my face in them.

I think she put me up on this shelf just to get me away from the catnip toys.

Although it was a good vantage point to see some toys that are usually out of my reach.

The worker who checked us out knows me really well, so I got lots of pets.

Mostly we stocked up on cat food we don’t find at other stores. So it was a good shopping day!

I know it’s been a while, but do you remember my Lamb Chop Bunny outfit? I finally have a video of me wearing it!

The problem was that my human had to reshoot a good portion of it, and things kept coming up, like the cat show and such. Why did she have to reshoot it? Part of it was shot kind of crooked, and my human wasn’t able to fix it in editing. She blames me because she says I headbutted the camera. I think she’s covering up her own mistake. Anyhow it’s done now.

Actually my human is the one who should be embarrassed here, for getting her hand in the frame.

Maybe I was giving my human a raspberry for her hand in the previous shot.

I always look so awkward when my human photographs me standing on my hind legs.

I definitely look like I have some complaints in this photo.

My human wasn’t planning on doing a photo session with me. At all. But she saw me on the living room rug with the light coming in through the shutters and she couldn’t resist. She immediately grabbed her camera and a small light to keep my face from being too dark and started taking photos. You can see the results below — no secret messages because they really aren’t necessary!
