The Last Road Course Session EVER

We are nearing the end of the season and down here in Calgary we have reached our last road course date, which means our last road course date EVER since this will be the last year race city will exist (unless some sort of miracle happens). If you have never drifted the road course before now is your chance! we placed this date the day after DMCC Round 3 so all the out of town guys have a chance to call in sick on the Monday and get a little extra track time. For you lapping guys, this will be your last chance to get on the road course for $100, after this date you will only have the $200 days left with the other organizers!

Lets make it an awesome night!

Aug 10th is a road course date brought to you by Spec-D and Revwerks. It is open to both "grip" and "drift" cars.

This Date will only run if there is enough interest. To insure this we will be taking deposits up to one week before the event.

The early-bird price is $100, a $40 deposit must be made a week before the event. For your convenience, you may use paypal here. Drop-in will be $160 if we have the space!

Drift squad will be working the grill! get a burger with entry, extra burgers can be purchased. it is not guaranteed that we will have enough burgers for everyone, but we will estimate as well as we can!

So it is that time of year again, DMCC is in Calgary for Round One of the Western Series. Spec-D will be out as spectators and will be collecting deposits for the 28th!

Also Sunday night there will be a fundraiser for Local Formula D driver Alex Lee to raise money for round 5. Grab your tickets from his booth on the weekend!

Not only did alot of the drivers kill it, alot of the drivers provided some epic entertainment and extremely close calls & near misses while trying to negotiate turns they're not so familiarized with.

June 2nd Edmonton Practice Cancelled

Unfortunately, because of load-in for the bike drags on the weekend there will be no practice this Thursday, June 2nd at Castrol Raceway. The following week, June 9th, will be the make-up date for this adjustment.

After two successful and busy practices in Edmonton, Castrol Raceway has decided to let us run two extra practices on May 26th and June 9th. If the numbers are still high after a month of drifting every week then expect more practices to come.

Greetings!

My name is Dave, I'm new on the blogroll for Spec-D.ca and I've been an automotive photographer for 5 years with my main specialty being automotive sports photography.

You'll often find me at the roadcourse, on the 1/4 every single friday for Secret Street and every single wednesday for the Calgary Spec-D Drift practices shooting away, feel free to come say hi!

I'll be offering a new package deal for all you participants. It's a low cost and affordable option for those of you looking to seek out sponsorship or posters for your bedroom / garage walls.

I'll come out and shoot every cars practice run and every cars main runs for events, and you will have the option of purchasing a CD-ROM loaded with images of your vehicle from that specific day. The cost will be $50.00 and will be required on the day of practice.

However, because the first practice of the year is only a few weeks away and I'm exited to get started, I will be offering you guys the CD for $20 for the May 17th practice!!
